Once inside the park it is very nice. (Gravel site surface, featuring a fire ring and picnic table. Spacious, sunny and open exposure.)

However, getting here was a nightmare! The BP Gas station covers up the Yellow Indian Creek Sign so we missed the turn. We had to drive 3-4 miles and then it was all residential. We had to pull over to the shoulder, un-hook our tow, make a u-turn with our 45' motorhome. Stopping traffic both ways. Not something I want to repeat.

When we finally got to the check-in desk, I asked about Passport America, but she said they didn't allow this on weekends. (However the website says it accepts it Sunday-Thursday...and this was a Sunday.) I told her this and then she told me that since she had already rung it up she couldn't re-do it. Oh well.

So we headed to our campsite. (It was 2:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00.) It was filled with a guy in a trailer who said he would be gone "in a bit." So we had to sit there for 15 minutes hogging the road while he packed up. Again, the campground is nice, but getting into the place leaves a lot to be desired.

If you have kids this would be a great place, but if you want a restful, peaceful park: I would go somewhere else. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Standard pull thru site had a cement pad, was level and had plenty of room between sites. HUGE campground. Bring your bike, very level for riding. Seasonal RV's were kept very nice and clean. No rundown trailers. Restaurant on site was good too. Ice cream parlor offers soft serve only with many injected flavors. Mini golf was nice and clean.

About an hour outside of Cleveland. No access to Lake Erie but there was a nice deck to sit and watch the sunset.

Would definitely go back if in the area. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Mostly seasonal sites. Short term sites are way over priced. Long slow drive from public road to our camping site. The camp sites were not jammed together and were level. We stayed 3 nights. Due to price, we would not stay again. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Geneva-on-the-Lake is a resort town on Lake Erie. This is Ohio wine country with plenty of wineries. Many covered bridges. Many interesting lake side communities to visit.

They offer Passport America discounts, but only on select days of the week.
Look closely at GPS, make sure to stay on main town streets (we went OH-534 to OH-531)-town streets are very narrow. There are many possible activities at the resort-miniature golf, fishing, playground and more. Easily handle big rigs. There are some full hookups, but there were no available full hookups when we called. There are several "Open" areas. The open areas are grass with some trees. There are electric poles for 30 amp and water spickets. There are picnic tables and fire rings throughout the area. If you can go without sewer hookup, the open area may allow a larger site. Lots of amenities to keep you as busy. Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. Our negatives will be others' positives... there were a ton of kids. Adults AND Kids were speeding around on golf carts. Everyone seemed to have a dog, and most of them were barking. It was a nice place to hang out for a few days.
It really was a lovely campground and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a huge RV park, chock full of amenities. Cable TV had way more channels than the slip of paper that they gave us upon check-in, and most were crisp digital stations. WiFi was adequate. Really nice new picnic table and fancy (swivel-out rack) fire pit. We didn't buy anything from the store, but it is huge as far as RV campgrounds go (with a huge booze section). Walk across the street to a walkway leading down to a deck overlooking Lake Erie. There is a BP gas station right at the entrance; we figured that they'd soak us, so we filled up at the Flying J right next to the freeway. Turns out that Flying J was about 7 cents a gallon more expensive! Really nice mini-golf / ice cream shack up front ($5 a game). We're in our 16th month of traveling, and this is one of the nicer parks we've been to so far. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake is a really bustling place to be! Lots of eateries, shops, arcades, etc. Big Celtic festival was taking place on the Saturday we were there.

We paid the Passport America discount rate. This would be a 10 if they didn't charge $5 a day for Wi-Fi. Mostly seasonal rigs, with some transient spots. Clean, pretty, well-kept with a restaurant, store, mini-golf, inviting playground equipment. Obviously a summer destination resort across the road from Lake Erie. It's a bit of a hike from I-90 but worth it if you have a couple of days. Make sure you know where you are going. Our GPS sent us to Indian Creek, which is not at this location. Fortunately, the office staff knew how to find us a place to turn around. Would come back here. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay even though a little pricey. Friendly and helpful staff. Level sites with plenty of room. Large park with all the usual amenities. The only negative thing I could say is that the pool was already closed in September even though the weather was warm and sunny. Would stay here again if in the area. Camped here during the week so there were no crowds. Basically had the place to ourselves until Friday afternoon when the weekenders started rolling in. Still not crowded at all since the open camping areas are huge. Both the adult and family pools were a perfect temperature. Bathrooms, as always, were very clean. The restaurant at the front of the campground by the store has great food at reasonable prices. Fun mini golf course on site as well as a nice little ice cream store. This is one of my favorite campgrounds. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!! We purchased a 2 night stay through Groupon and upon arrival were pleasantly surprised with a full hook up vs. the electric and water site paid for! They just finished the upgrade of adding sewer to the row we stayed in. Campground has many amenities. The swimming pool was great and the adult pool is a nice addition. Both were busy at times. But I did get one swim in with only one other guest! Nice & quiet! The camp store has anything you could need. Mini golf was fun. Bathroom/Showers were clean and well lit. Many many permanent campers & golf carts. But, still enough room for folks like us, who travel with our RV, and do not park it year round. A short walk to Lake Erie. Beautiful view. Very close to Geneva on the Lake resort town. Super busy in June. Campground has a gas station, decent restaurant and the campground is very large. I went for an early morning jog with my black lab, all the way to the back past the pond which runs along the middle of the property. Staff was very friendly & helpful! We will for sure stay again!! Our gravel pull-through site was level, wide and long enough for our 40 foot MH and toad. Sites were spaced well apart. Park consists mostly of seasonals but there are at least two areas for transients. The park was clean and well maintained. No trees to block our satellite TV and there was an adequate Verizon signal. Check-in person was indifferent and brusque. Did not use Wi-Fi as they were charging $5/day. Would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

The good: real gated security, paved interior road, helpful staff, well-kept campground, level and roomy sites, nice facilities, resort town nearby, and lots to do in the area. The bad: drainage in severe weather and gravel sites. This was our first campground on our new journey as full-timers, and this campground spoiled us. Except for a paved or concrete pad, you couldn't ask for more. The rate listed reflects the discount for a two-week stay. We'll be back if we're in the area again. Nice campground - this is the largest campground that we have ever stayed in. The staff was helpful and nice. The bathrooms were cleaned 7 times daily. There are 3 playgrounds and they have a lot of activities for children. Level sights and paved patios made for easy set up and take down. The only down side was that the water lines are at the opposite end of the site than the power hook up. This could prove a problem for small units. We will definitely be back. We stayed two nights at the park's special rate for Oct. The spacious, clean restrooms and showers were certainly deserving of their high rating. We had our choice of a site near the park entrance or one further back close to the pond with fountain. We chose the pond view which was a mistake because of the geese and the messes they left behind (had to tiptoe through our site). We camped at Indian Creek RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
