This is a great campground if you are traveling with kids, which we weren't. There is alot to do and keep kids entertained. The camp sites were a bit close to one another but they were reasonably level and it was a pull through site. We were visiting family in the area so we didn't spend too much time in the park but when we were there it was quiet and pleasant. We had to wear little paper bracelets to identify ourselves as registered campers and I found that annoying, felt like a hospital patient! We have stayed there in the past and would stay there again. - LeoTraveler

We stayed Easter weekend on a Friday. Road in and out is two lane rural. Staff was excellent and always helpful. Campsites offer a mix of trees and open area. Lots of activities for young and old at this campground. Could be more easily labeled a "Funground". Some amenities cost extra. We paid $10 each to do zip line on Saturday morning. The stream is free and our 10 year old had a blast wading out. I found multiple Indian artifacts along the rocky banks. Our pull through site didn't offer a pad or patio but they allowed us to put down our mat in front door area. Cell reception with AT&T was good. Digital TV not so much but we didn't care as there was plenty to do. Lots of activities are planned by the park. We filled our propane tank as we were leaving and staff was very helpful and cost was minimal. We only stayed the night as we had other places to be but we could definitely come back to Lazy River and recommend it highly to campers with kids. - Sinjin79

We love this campground. It's a very family-friendly. Our favorite spots are in the back next to the creek which the kids love to play in. It's only a foot deep max. Our spots are surrounded with mature trees and are huge. You can sit in our spot around the camp fire and watch the kids play in the creek.
The only downside is they are electric and water and cable, no sewer.
This year they added a BMX bike track and laser tag and frisbee golf. There are also adding a new shower house. The current shower house is fine and well kept. It's a nice family run campground. Super great for the kids with lots of activities. It's not as big as some campgrounds but that suits us great. There's a nice place to get snacks and ice cream.
The pool is a little small but the water is always warm and nice, and there's a splash pad right next to it. There's also a zip line and a wire obstacle course.
Very secluded down in a ravine in the trees. Camping the way that it should be. It's family-owned and I think both the daughter and son are involved. Everyone who we've interacted with are good people and the staff is great. - osubuck94

The sites here are very nice. I enjoyed the shade. Most sites are not level but any seasoned camper can deal with that. Do not plan on using the bathroom or showers. They were almost constantly a complete gross mess. You get what you pay for. - Seely3216

We reserved AFrame for this weekend, October 6to 8, 2017. Prior to staying advised we would arrive late after football game (we arrived prior to 11:00pm deadline). The lady in office was ONLY good experience. No lighting by cabin, stepping stones were uneven and we had trouble not falling. The cabin conditions were deplorable (cob webs and spiders everywhere, ceiling in bathroom is coming loose, shower was dirty, smelled of strong odor, looked like the place had not been cleaned in months). The exterior screens were torn as well. We were there about 20 minutes and packed back up. So nasty we didn't stay. Junk in several places driving to cabin. They staff did refund our money. I do not recommend renting AFrame - Stacey Coblentz
Jul 2017 - $25.00
We stayed for a week and enjoyed the natural setting and quiet of the camp. It is an older established campground without WIFI but its down to earth real camping. Not much of a beach but we don't swim anyway. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We will be back! - luckylinda1354
Aug 2018 - $35.00
Lots of seasonal campers with some really nice seasonal set-ups. There are 3 campgrounds , I stayed at Eagle Point that had some nice lake views. Some spots could be challenging to get level, and in some cases arriving after dark could be a challenge. - Cdr Bob
Oct 2016 - $20.00
Stayed a Eagle Point which is separate from the main campground. Showers and restrooms were nice and clean. Only 30 amp available. Water at several points and at the entrance. No sewers, however dump station is available. Sites are somewhat tight. Upper part of campground has seasonal campers and lower part can be reserved. If not reserved, first come fist served. Well patrolled by park rangers.
Reservations are made online and there is an $8.00 charge. - Wi1dBi11
Sep 2015 - $20.00
We stayed at the Main Camp which was very clean and spacious. The campsites were mostly seasonal, but they were well maintained. We really enjoyed the Main Camp and found it to be peaceful and quiet. The roads are easy to traverse and the site was level. We had 30 amp service but no other hookups, but for $20.00 a night it was fine.
The campsites down the road at Eagle Point, which is still part of this campground, were another story all together. There were a lot of older campers packed closely and most of the lots were not well maintained. There were many children and it was louder with more activity. - RNRVtravler
