10 Parks near Lebanon, Ohio
Oct 2016 - $46.00
Not a bad campground. Very nice reception for us when we arrived. Had a pull thru site that was very long and curved. Did not have any trouble getting level. All the hookups were in just the right place. Everything worked well. The site was in an odd place compared to the road but it keep our neighbors well away from us. Quite a large park to walk around.
Be aware that the campground is becoming a KOA on November 1st. - John Borajkiewicz
Sep 2016 - $46.00
Price seemed a little high for amenities offered. Very near to the town of Lebanon. Fairly easy to get into and out of. However, the sites are very unlevel. There is a newer area in the back where the spots are much more level. A lot of gravel and leveling of spots needs to be done to make this park better. Request a spot in an area for a motorhome with a tow. Several of the spots are long enough to accommodate a tow without unhitching. Cable was available but was very fuzzy. - leciel19
Aug 2016 - $48.00
We only stayed here for 1 night as we were passing through. Weird layout as sites are set in all directions. As someone previously said sign at entrance would be easy to miss if not really looking for it. Road in is one lane only. It might be a good idea to leave a trail of crumbs like Hansel and Gretal to find your way back out. It is easy to see an empty pull through and think it is the road. Price is way too much for gravel roads and sites of chalky rocks. Our site was not level at all. Water and electric was good but cable was low quality. We would look elsewhere if we happen to be back this way. - zrxh14
Nov 2016 - $58.00
While we've stayed in this campground on our trips north and south, the campground has recently been purchased by a new couple. When we travel, every park without winter time water has rates usually $30. This campground without water does not. Additionally they thought we were coming in a day earlier and charged us for it despite being told that we were not arriving a day early. When I went to complain about the additional daily charge they were not open on Sunday. Just not acceptable and we'll never stay there again. - Bauernfeind
Oct 2016 - $40.00
This is a terrific campground. It is close to I-71, but as others said really no road noise. The campground in from the main road straight, tree lined, stone, wide and was not dusty. The inner roads and sites are stone. Our site was wide with plenty of room to park car along side of coach. Water pressure was always above 45 psi, and it and sewer connect were conveniently located. As mentioned in other reviews the power pedestal was at the far back of the site. Mine was at least on driver side of coach. With my coach all the way back in the site my 50 amp cable reached. AC Voltage was stable at 122-127 volts. This is a well kept campground, with friendly and helpful staff. Wifi was okay, but seemed to just disappear for a few minutes every so often and the return. AT&T single was ok.
This was our first time here, we stayed here is 18 nights to visit relatives. We will definitely return to Olive Branch when we visit our family in the area. - Russ G
Sep 2016 - $42.00
This is a clean, large and very well organized RV park, with a lot of amenities. It's close to the Interstate yet very quiet. Site was level, hookups were good except that the electrical box was on the opposite side from normal and my cable just barely reached (with the help of my dog-bone and surge protector). Spacing between sites was very roomy. It rained while there, and water accumulated in most of that space, but when dry it was very nice grass. The gravel site area was super-nice to have when it rains, so we appreciated that. WiFi was good, Verizon 4G signal was also good, they had a large play area with lots of playground equipment, a game room, laundry, showers, a pool (closed for the season), etc. GPS pointed to the wrong entrance location but there were a few signs that helped us get to the entrance (and very long entrance road). Our site was moderately shady. Staff and campers were all very nice. - RobtL
Nov 2016 - $40.00
Sites are level and gravel with a lot of shade, sites are close together but enough room for slide outs....some sites have small patios and there are some permanent campers but there was no problems...we have a 36' motor home and had no problems getting around but this could be an issue when the park is full with a lot of vehicles...the owner was very friendly and helpful...they had free wifi but we never did get connected, but phone service was great, we have at&t...we picked up about 30 tv channels so that is a plus....pet friendly, nice playground for kids, pool...the main shower house was closed for season but there was 2 other main restrooms, men and women with flush toilets and one shower stall that was clean with plenty of hot water...loved the area and would return... - smoky40
Aug 2016 - $35.00
This CG is off the beaten path. It is a hard left turn into the park and if another rig is checking in, you either wait in the travel lane or, if you were not paying attention and turned in, you will block the whole roadway.
This CG is not big rig friendly and I had to fight to get into my pull through site. The water hookup was on the right side. It was a 3/4 to 1 inch line with a Y splitter that was shared with another coach. The water pressure stayed around 20 PSI and we had to use the house pump to shower. There were a lot of long termers and a controversial flag was flying near the rear of the property. We left early. - Michael47
Jun 2015 - $32.00
No discount offered even though this is a Good Sam park. Showers not clean-should not get high rating that's in Good Sam directory. Separate restroom was acceptable. Pool not open and grungy. - Click
Sep 2016 - $27.00
Close to Interstate 71. Campsites have a very narrow and short 40 foot paved parking area. If your trailer is over 30 feet, you will have to unhook and park your tow vehicle elsewhere. Electric hookup is 30 amp service. Utilities located at end of site. No water hookups. Sites are mostly flat, ours required no leveling. Lots of space between sites, plenty of grass and a few trees. Staff at check in are friendly, but not Rangers and they are not knowledgeable about RV's and camping. - Jimstone
Aug 2016 - $24.00
Beautiful setting - we saw deer, a beaver, cardinals, rabbits and squirrels. Spacious sites. I wish we could have stayed longer. Bathrooms not fancy but clean. - WendyJayne
Jun 2016 - $32.00
Site 268. We enjoyed our site location. Sad the ash trees were cut down. Lots of sun during the day. We did however take issue with the bathrooms. Being a state park we expected better but were sadly disappointed. Very old and rusty shower facilities. Unusable in our option. A beautiful park that has so much to offer should spend some money on upgrading the amenities. Just our opinion. - Tom De
Sep 2016 - $1.00
This has the bones to be a really nice park. Herein is the problem at least for those who travel. We are finding more and more TT parks are catering to the "annual" campers who take up all the large, nice and/or fhu or 50 amp sites leaving those of us who travel from park to park and want to see the country in a dilemma when we try to find a spot we can fit in while 100 spots are taken by campers whose occupants are not even in the park. (after labor day, sites are full, but nobody here). When we arrived here, there was 1 spot we could fit in and get a fhu albeit 30amp when we need 50. There needs to be a compromise with members/annuals/management so that there is not just w/e for those who want to travel. The roads are dusty and a bit rutted, but that is also normal for TT parks. That said, the amenities worked, the employees friendly and we would return if in the area. I do hope that something can be worked out as far as the annuals so we ALL have opportunities for the same amenities. - buffy
May 2016 - $1.00
This could easily become one of our favorite parks but we don't come to Ohio often. When we do, this is where we will stay. The park is well kept and full of large mature trees. There is only 30 amp electrical service but it wasn't a problem since the weather was cool. We are an older couple and appreciate the quiet atmosphere. There are things for kids to do, including a playground, miniature golf, a catch and release pond, and a canoeing pond.
Verizon coverage is good and, if you pick a site carefully, your satellite TV will work well, too. - KD7UCH
Jul 2015 - $1.00
The rate reflects TT membership. With only 30 amp sites we were very uncomfortable in 90 degree temps. Very few level sites. The staff were very helpful as with all TT campgrounds. We would stay here again. - TheBounders
Jul 2016 - $60.00
We stayed on their premium site which is site 80. It has a poured patio, which is nice, a charcoal grill, patio furniture, and fire pit.
This is not a full hook up campground. They have a gray water drain which is only a 1 1/2 inch drain pipe, so you can't use your regular sewer hose to dump your gray water. Owners/operators were friendly, pool was nice, and most of the folks we met around the campground were friendly as well. Smaller campground, so I believe they can only accommodated a few big rigs. Most interior roads are gravel, but in good shape. - jmcmanama
Jul 2011 - $36.00
This campground I recommend the owners are very nice and are always willing to help out. The campground is kept very nice you can tell they work very hard to make it a very nice place. Restrooms and showers are always clean. A lot of activities are available and fun. Very wooded area makes camping nice and a very nice pool. - gatorbait72
Sep 2010 - $40.00
My whole family stayed at this park and it was the best time we have had in a long time. We will be returning. The owners are too nice. Has a Dee Jay by the pool; a train ride for the kids; a game room and huge pool. The best campground in Warren county. Located close to the beach, Kings Island, Wal-Mart, Krogers, gas stations and a state park. - fishy
Aug 2016 - $30.00
A nice state park. It is a small state park, but with mainly spacious and level sites (except ones on hill which are numbers 32-41). Showers could use updating, but we're hot and clean. Trails could also use some pruning back, but the sites were well mowed and clean. Overall, a very nice place to stay. There were some seasonal sites, but things were kept fairly clean and picked up on these sites as well. - IBpraisingGod
Oct 2015 - $27.00
Stayed at Stonelick for the weekend. Nice, quiet park. Sites are level and spacious. Restrooms and showers were clean, although could use some updating. Be sure to show up with you water tank full, as the sites are only electric. - Cousin Eddy
Jul 2013 - $20.00
Ok where do I start. We have just started doing campground reviews because of this trip to Stone Lick. Check out was at 2pm, no rules, loud music, people screaming and dogs barking until day light . Restrooms had what looked like black mold on walls and rusty fixtures. You couldn't swim because lake had e-coli in the water from sewage dumping. Campsites were on pretty much a very steep hill; not good for tents and definitely not for campers or RVs, very few flat sites. We will never camp here again. The only reason I am giving this camp ground a 4 is they did keep grounds cut and had showers and water access. - User3172
Jul 2016 - $27.00
Nice state park. There are shady spots, but many trees have been removed due to ash borer. Some spots remain very muddy. Only electric at sites. Water available near by, dump station available. Remodeled camp store very nice. Great ice cream at the camp store too. - Drapery Queen
Apr 2011 - $27.00
Cowan Lake Campground is average for an Ohio State Park. We stayed the second weekend of April, only the showerhouse and restrooms were open. Both were clean (other than cobwebs in the windows) and in working order. The non-pet section is nicer, though a large majority of those sites are not level. Bring an outdoor rug if staying in the pet section. - jc29021
Jul 2010 - $27.00
We had a large shady site. We stayed during the week and there were very few campers there and it was quiet and peaceful. The restroom and shower house were disappointing. The restroom had a strong smell of cat urine. The cleaning routine seemed to consist of emptying the trash and replenishing the toilet paper. There were tons of spiders, bugs and spider webs. The shower house had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. Again, lots of spider webs and bugs. It didn't look to have been cleaned thoroughly recently. The campground had its own beach which was nice. The lake had some seaweed in it and the water was green, which might have been because of the 90 degree weather. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The store had a restaurant which offered reasonably priced fast food. Because of the restrooms and shower house, we would not stay here again. - loribrady
Aug 2016 - $38.00
We've stayed here 2x for a total of 12 nights. Great setting & location with plenty of amenities. The weekends in the summer get a lot of families, but the weekdays are very quiet. We will stay here every year when we come to Cincinnati. - McGarrert50
Aug 2016 - $39.00
Well kept, level sites with plenty of room. A pretty park with lots to do -- walking, running, biking, boating. Water pressure was very low during the weekend and improved on Monday but tasted good. Power was reliable and stable. Sewer outlet spaced conveniently. Staff pleasant. Price listed includes tax, but there was also a one time $10 vehicle fee. We plan to return. - cbcon2
Aug 2016 - $45.00
Campground rules not enforced. Diverted valve went off couple times and woke up to water pouring on ground. Reported it to office to no avail.....vandalizism, bad valve, etc??? They didn't know how it was to work nor did they offer to send Maintenance over to check out / change out. Fixed problem myself with pipe clamp only to have it happen again. So I added a couple zip ties and that resolved the problem for me anyway....not sure about next tenant. Appears WW needs monies so bad they even let folks stay beyond their own written rules....no more than 14 days in any 30 day period. What's good for one, should be good for all. - Sassygirl
Aug 2016 - $20.00
15 clean, perfectly level all-concrete sites around a small cul-de-sac. There are another 8 "overflow" sites with 30-amp electric only.
Contrary to previous reviews, there IS wifi. Read the brochure provided with the registration forms.
All utilities worked perfectly. Wifi was excellent. Campground is convenient to shopping and restaurants at Eastgate shopping complex and Mariemont neighborhood.
We stay here every year. - SusanRon
Jul 2016 - $20.00
All former comments are true. We've stayed a week for $100 total. Park was full most of the time in very hot weather, thus our site #2 had electrical issues. FMCA couldn't get electrician to site due to weekend. Our power guard system shut off due to low voltage as low as 103. Other times of the year, we've never had a problem. We moved to overflow area (nearer the power source) and all was fine. Will definitely use the park again. Just be sure and check hookups for set up is complete if it's a time of high power usage. - smdrm
Jun 2016 - $20.00
The FMCA Campground has 15 full-hookup sites for members to use. All sites are on paved surfaces. Maximum stay is two nights per month at no charge; maximum five additional nights at $20 per night. In addition, there are overflow sites with electric only.
The facility used to be the mail forwarding office for FMCA. The office is now closed and the Wifi is off.
We have stayed a number of times. If you are in the Cincinnati area at least once a year this alone is worth the cost of your membership.
