This is an older park which was recently taken over by KOA. As with most KOA's it has many amenities such as a pool, playground, etc and activities desirable to family campers. On the early September Sunday when we visited, there was a community pig roast and pot luck dinner. The roads in the park are a bit narrow, as one would expect from an older park. Our pull-thru site was long and roomy and fairly level. However, for a water and electric only site, it was very expensive at $55/day with the KOA discount. We stayed there due to the park's proximity to the town of Lebanon where we were visiting friends. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here a year ago and just the last week and it's amazing how much as been done. Beautiful campground, new cabins and the deluxe patio sites are gorgeous and absolutely perfect. They had a hog roast the weekend we were there and it was crowded yet perfectly run. Kids and adults having fun...a perfect campground experience. Will be back next year. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

You drive thru Lebanon to get here. They have possibly only one drive thru 30 amp which was at the entrance to the park. Cheapest easy site for us as we preferred not to unhook. It was not very level and all traffic in and out drove by us. Utilities were dated. That being said, I can see they are trying very much to make upgrades here. They have some very nice premium lots, and all 50 amp utilities looked new. Playground equipment and cabins looked very nice. Good family place I will assume. More than we need for our overnight stops. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Great family campground. We stayed in one of the deluxe sites, which have a larger cement pad, metal table and chairs, stainless propane grill, fire pit with gravel surround, wood benches and a swing. Sites were not too close, hookups were very good and the campground was clean and had lots of activity going on during the day for the kids including a pool, playground, grassy area, etc. Facilities were nice, clean and welcoming. There is also a ~15 mile bike trail nearby to explore/train on. The only downside is that the sites are a little pricey and they charge you additional fees for extra guests. All in all were were happy with our site and stay here and we will consider this campground again in the future. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

We're in the vicinity to visit relatives so we set up and vanished until bedtime. Campground isn't exactly convenient. Follow OH-122, east from exit 32, I-75. Turn right onto Neil Armstrong Highway (a.k.a. OH-123). At the next traffic light (about 4-ish miles distant), proceed straight onto Franklin Road, about ¼ mile (or so), KOA is on the left. This is an old campground being upgraded to KOA standards. Entrance road is asphalt in excellent condition BUT, only 1 lane wide. Interior roads are gravel, narrow, with sharp turns and speed bumps. No overhead obstacles. Follow signs to the office to "check in" and big rigs (like my 40' 5er) can find it challenging to get around the building. Small but inviting pool. No spa. Huge and very nice playground. Campground is slightly hilly. Sites are gravel, pull-through and back-in, not necessarily level. Utilities are mid-rig with 20/30/50. Restrooms/showers not inspected. There aren't many other camping options in this part of Ohio. Seriously overpriced. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearest town is Middletown, OH which is a sprawling hamlet, about 14 miles distant. Fast food outlets, some national restaurant chains near the interstate at exit 32, Walmart, auto services, Lowes, banks, credit unions, churches, hotels, diesel at $2.249, groceries at Meijers and Kroger. Excellent ice cream at "Ice Cream Dreams and Confections" on South Dixie, near Central Avenue, next to the bowling alley.

This is now a KOA park as of Apr 2017. It has been around since the 60's but it appears that they are putting a lot of effort into fixing it up. Several sites are deluxe patio sites that include a wooden swing, fire ring, gravel sitting area, bench, upgraded patio set on concrete pad and gas grill with utensils. We were assigned site 514 a FHU pull through just long enough for coach and car with fire ring and older picnic table on concrete pad. They have Wi-Fi. Verizon coverage is good. They provide cable TV. As with all KOA parks, we feel sites are overpriced. There's a nice playground and a rather small pool that was not open for season yet. They have a fenced dog area. If you have a big rig, we would recommend you not try to make the turns around the registration/store and pull over by the dump station to wait for an escort to your site. Office was friendly. Ignore your GPS and follow directions on website. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

This campground recently joined the KOA family. It's a bit shabby and needs some attention. Our site had some garbage here and there and the cable TV signal was weak. There is NO campground WiFi, just a hotspot at the office. They offer a service for a fee for WiFi. Sites were generous and roomy, but unlevel. Not bad for an overnight visit, but not great, either. Roads were a touch on the narrow side. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

Not a bad campground. Very nice reception for us when we arrived. Had a pull thru site that was very long and curved. Did not have any trouble getting level. All the hookups were in just the right place. Everything worked well. The site was in an odd place compared to the road but it keep our neighbors well away from us. Quite a large park to walk around.
Be aware that the campground is becoming a KOA on November 1st. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Price seemed a little high for amenities offered. Very near to the town of Lebanon. Fairly easy to get into and out of. However, the sites are very unlevel. There is a newer area in the back where the spots are much more level. A lot of gravel and leveling of spots needs to be done to make this park better. Request a spot in an area for a motorhome with a tow. Several of the spots are long enough to accommodate a tow without unhitching. Cable was available but was very fuzzy. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

Older campground with gravel roads and sites. Our site was not very level and could use some gravel. Good water and electric as well as cable. No Wi-Fi unless you pay extra, only hotspot at office which was not very good. Plenty of shade and back to back sites. Good for an overnighter. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here for 1 night as we were passing through. Weird layout as sites are set in all directions. As someone previously said sign at entrance would be easy to miss if not really looking for it. Road in is one lane only. It might be a good idea to leave a trail of crumbs like Hansel and Gretal to find your way back out. It is easy to see an empty pull through and think it is the road. Price is way too much for gravel roads and sites of chalky rocks. Our site was not level at all. Water and electric was good but cable was low quality. We would look elsewhere if we happen to be back this way. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is quiet even though it is close to town. If you are driving the speed limit (35) on the road, the sign is more than adequate to notice the entrance. Interior roads are gravel and could be a problem with heavy rain. We camped in the lower loop area near the pool, which has better road conditions than the area around the office. Plenty of shade. Dump station users block the one way road around the office, this wasn't any trouble since most sites are full H/U. Lebanon is a nice town. We shopped the Thursday evening farmers market downtown, a short bike ride away. We visited The Beach Waterpark and the National Museum of the Air Force. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for one night while passing through. This was a nice campground with a friendly staff. The town of Lebanon is quaint and seems like a peaceful place to stay. The sites are gravel; mine needed leveling. Power, water sewage infrastructure was fine, sites are placed far enough apart. The entrance to the park is not marked well and is only wide enough for one rig. The roads in the park have many potholes. It rained heavily the night we stayed and it seemed to drain off well. They do not offer discounts, so for someone passing through it is not a good value. I had 3 people and paid $49 for one night. Did not use their facilities. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

We camped here in very wet and muddy conditions. Not the fault of the campground for sure, but it did highlight the very poor condition of the roads. There are potholes everywhere. Roads are much too narrow and need a new coating of gravel. Mud is deep and treacherous! I agree with past reviewers that is difficult to see the entrance to the park. I suggest a blue camping sign like the ones on the approach roads, right at the entrance. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall a nice park the the gravel roads needed a lot of work (potholes). The water, electric, sewer worked good. We camped here 2 days each with a different camper .
