Have stayed at this campground since it was called Cedarbrook in the 90's. Always enjoyed it. Since the conversion to KOA they have improved the facility quite a bit. There's quite a bit to do for the kids but if you have no kids, then you might want to request a site away from the playground. There are lots of trees so satellite reception is probably not the best but they have excellent digital cable and OTA broadcasts. Sites are gravel and some are not too level but we've always been able to level our 37' MH and we've stayed there many times. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is in the town of Lebanon which is a real gem. Lots of small businesses and excellent restaurants. Go to the Golden Lamb - 4 minutes away - built in 1803, it has a restaurant, a tavern and even a small museum upstairs. They have many festivals in the summer in front of the Golden Lamb on Broadway St

Overall Rating:

This was our 4th stay at this campground, our 2nd since it became a KOA. Progress has been slow but steady under KOA ownership, much improved, a few old issues. The new, larger KOA sign marking the entrance is better, but still partially obscured by a tree on neighboring land. Entry is still narrow if you meet a departing RV. Old, shabby RV's that used to line entry are mostly gone. Check-in loop has been improved, easier for big rig access. Staff remains friendly & helpful. Park is clean and wooded with mature trees in most areas. WiFi is free and works "ok" to check e-mail. Cable TV service has been upgraded and is excellent. Power and water hookup fine; sewer connection at our site was a little funky but we worked it out. Staff was working while we were there with grader and gravel to improve roads & sites. Pool area is small but VERY clean. Playground was enjoyed by our "grands". Sites are a little close together, IMO. This park continues to improve, and remains the best choice in the area as a family park for stays of a few days to a couple weeks. We will return, but they won't take 2019 reservations until October 2018. And this place is busy on weekends. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are sites with fewer trees (for satellite devotees) bordering a field that separates the CG from a cemetery. Some are creeped out with that, we had no problem with it, very quiet (!) and in the fall/cooler weather the lack of shade is not a problem. In the summer, we like the interior sites with shade.

It's a KOA, so expect high rates and extra charges. Showers clean but dated. Speed limit not enforced. Not many options near Dayton. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Typical KOA that is undergoing some upgrades. It's a little odd checking in as you have to drive up a steep hill and make a hard right downhill turn to get to your site after check in(which they escort you too). The sites are primarily gravel/dirt. We were there for one night which was fine. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Entering the campground in a big rig with a tow was a bit unclear so we needed a guide and a long loop around the campground to get into our site, but it was easily accomplished with wide, manageable turns. Our pull-thru was long and utilities easily accessible. Staff was very friendly & helpful. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice park and the staff was outstanding - performed duties as required in a very courteous way. Great playground for children even though we had none with us. The best part was they stepped up to plate when my wife locked herself out of camper. They assisted her in many ways and with heat, wife still stayed at camper and the provide water for her. I was long distance away at work. They kept my wife informed of my eta as I called to make sure she knew I was on way. Thank you to all the staff that made a bad situation tolerable. NOTE: we worked up plan so this will not happen again.... We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 6 nights. This was the closest place available while we were in area helping our daughter. Our site was electric/water only. The campground was full over the weekend, but very quiet during the week. Staff was very pleasant and allowed us to go night to night after our initial stay was complete. The sites were pretty close together. The real challenge was the route to check-in. It was up a hill to the office and back down again. We were escorted to our site. As others have said the best approach to the park is to drive up Neil Armstrong Way and come to the park on Franklin Road, so you make a left hand turn into the park rather than a sharp right hand turn. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

You drive thru Lebanon to get here. They have possibly only one drive thru 30 amp which was at the entrance to the park. Cheapest easy site for us as we preferred not to unhook. It was not very level and all traffic in and out drove by us. Utilities were dated. That being said, I can see they are trying very much to make upgrades here. They have some very nice premium lots, and all 50 amp utilities looked new. Playground equipment and cabins looked very nice. Good family place I will assume. More than we need for our overnight stops. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here a year ago and just the last week and it's amazing how much as been done. Beautiful campground, new cabins and the deluxe patio sites are gorgeous and absolutely perfect. They had a hog roast the weekend we were there and it was crowded yet perfectly run. Kids and adults having fun...a perfect campground experience. Will be back next year. This is an older park which was recently taken over by KOA. As with most KOA's it has many amenities such as a pool, playground, etc and activities desirable to family campers. On the early September Sunday when we visited, there was a community pig roast and pot luck dinner. The roads in the park are a bit narrow, as one would expect from an older park. Our pull-thru site was long and roomy and fairly level. However, for a water and electric only site, it was very expensive at $55/day with the KOA discount. We stayed there due to the park's proximity to the town of Lebanon where we were visiting friends. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Formerly Cedarbrook, KOA is adding new cabins, premium sites and overall improvements. The turn into the park and the driveway coming in is narrow. But we didn't have any problem with our 40' 5th wheel. We were here the week before Labor day and the park wasn't very busy. We had a pull thru with plenty of space between. The pool was clean and adequate. Laundry was small but very clean. Would stay again. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Great family campground. We stayed in one of the deluxe sites, which have a larger cement pad, metal table and chairs, stainless propane grill, fire pit with gravel surround, wood benches and a swing. Sites were not too close, hookups were very good and the campground was clean and had lots of activity going on during the day for the kids including a pool, playground, grassy area, etc. Facilities were nice, clean and welcoming. There is also a ~15 mile bike trail nearby to explore/train on. The only downside is that the sites are a little pricey and they charge you additional fees for extra guests. All in all were were happy with our site and stay here and we will consider this campground again in the future. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

We're in the vicinity to visit relatives so we set up and vanished until bedtime. Campground isn't exactly convenient. Follow OH-122, east from exit 32, I-75. Turn right onto Neil Armstrong Highway (a.k.a. OH-123). At the next traffic light (about 4-ish miles distant), proceed straight onto Franklin Road, about ¼ mile (or so), KOA is on the left. This is an old campground being upgraded to KOA standards. Entrance road is asphalt in excellent condition BUT, only 1 lane wide. Interior roads are gravel, narrow, with sharp turns and speed bumps. No overhead obstacles. Follow signs to the office to "check in" and big rigs (like my 40' 5er) can find it challenging to get around the building. Small but inviting pool. No spa. Huge and very nice playground. Campground is slightly hilly. Sites are gravel, pull-through and back-in, not necessarily level. Utilities are mid-rig with 20/30/50. Restrooms/showers not inspected. There aren't many other camping options in this part of Ohio. Seriously overpriced. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearest town is Middletown, OH which is a sprawling hamlet, about 14 miles distant. Fast food outlets, some national restaurant chains near the interstate at exit 32, Walmart, auto services, Lowes, banks, credit unions, churches, hotels, diesel at $2.249, groceries at Meijers and Kroger. Excellent ice cream at "Ice Cream Dreams and Confections" on South Dixie, near Central Avenue, next to the bowling alley.

This is now a KOA park as of Apr 2017. It has been around since the 60's but it appears that they are putting a lot of effort into fixing it up. Several sites are deluxe patio sites that include a wooden swing, fire ring, gravel sitting area, bench, upgraded patio set on concrete pad and gas grill with utensils. We were assigned site 514 a FHU pull through just long enough for coach and car with fire ring and older picnic table on concrete pad. They have Wi-Fi. Verizon coverage is good. They provide cable TV. As with all KOA parks, we feel sites are overpriced. There's a nice playground and a rather small pool that was not open for season yet. They have a fenced dog area. If you have a big rig, we would recommend you not try to make the turns around the registration/store and pull over by the dump station to wait for an escort to your site. Office was friendly. Ignore your GPS and follow directions on website. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.

This campground recently joined the KOA family. It's a bit shabby and needs some attention. Our site had some garbage here and there and the cable TV signal was weak. There is NO campground WiFi, just a hotspot at the office. They offer a service for a fee for WiFi. Sites were generous and roomy, but unlevel. Not bad for an overnight visit, but not great, either. Roads were a touch on the narrow side. We camped at Lebanon / Cincinnati NE KOA in a Motorhome.
