The sites are very large but may take a lot to level your rig. Owner was very friendly and laid-back. Only one washer & dryer, but only a buck to use. TV reception weak, but most sites very open for satellites. I liked this RV Park. Nothing fancy and would stay here again. We camped at Ashland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are large and grass. Beautiful RV park that is very close to town and out in the country at the same time. Quiet and peaceful at night. Park has river front with docks for boaters and jet skis. Very well maintained. Large washer and dryer, priced at $1 each. Owners are friendly and attentive to campers' needs. Parkersburg is just across the river and, with Marietta, provide plenty of shopping, weekend festivals and activities, as well as health care services. We are snowbirds who spend the spring to fall season here in a motorhome. We camped at Ashland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is OK. It could be excellent if the owners would be willing to put some time and money into it. The interior roads really need to be graveled and pot holes fixed. The sites are not paved or graveled and can be difficult to get out of after a hard rain. The full hook-up sites are very large which is a good thing. All of the river side sites are seasonal people. It is quiet and nothing is ever bothered. The owners are friendly people. It is convenient to everything in Marietta being only 2 miles from town. I hope to see improvements in the future or else the campground won't be worth going to. We camped at Ashland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is a hidden gem, doesn't show up on Google Searches (plan to register them on Google Maps tonight though). The sites are surprisingly level on the river front, the back 33 may not be by looking. These are all grass sites, no gravel or cement. They have a lot of full timers and construction workers in this park. Small time campground right next to a strawberry picking patch, about 3 minutes into Marietta which has everything you can need. Tons of shade trees on the river front sites (Muskingum River) with stairs down on some river front sites to the river directly, they are also in the process of putting up a dock to be finished next week. The owners/operators have a park model on site and stayed here on site while we where here at least one night. Some of the friendliest folks we have met so far on our travels. Shower was spotless (they have only one) and both the men's and women's restroom are clean as well. Small laundry room $1 to run a machine has been the most well maintained spots we have seen. There is a playground on site as well for children. Hook ups are well constructed and again like the rest of the park, top notch. This is a great little spot to setup for a few days for visiting family like we were as well as historic Marietta. Holding back a 10 as the rail road runs about 1/2 a mile north of the park sites, which at 2 am will be a bit noisy. (Although I didn't wake but for a moment.) Hardly a reason to complain considering the great river front location and the character and dedication to the park the owners have. Will use this spot anytime we are back in this area. We camped at Ashland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
