There are two sections to the campground. The upper section (sites 8-47) and the lower section (51-103). All sections have a couple of pit latrines without water. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets at the beach. The lower section is not set up for big rigs to get in and out of. I would recommend this campground more for tent, pop-ups and small travel trailers. The roads are very curvy to get there. The campground should be well shaded during the summer. - coorslight

We love it here, but it's old fashioned. This is what we like about it-during the week it is not busy, very peaceful. The pit toilets don't bother us as we carry our own. The showers are nice. The views are pretty, and deer and raccoons come up onto our campsite at night. We have a pop up tent trailer, 24 ft long when set up. We use a pull through site and love it. - oldgal

We have traveled coast to coast and never seen such an unsanitary place, we mainly use State Parks. We were not able to get level on lot. Asked to move and we were not permitted although there were walk in lots that may have worked. Restrooms are terrible, they are not flush but have not been pumped out. Walls are covered with flies and the stench is unbearable. We had paid for 6 days, stayed for 5. Employees do pick up campsites when campers leave and do a good job on that. This is problem with online payments, they have it all. We cannot recommend Ohio State Campgrounds to anyone. - Leann Appel

Sites have paved pads but grass or bare ground off 10' pads. Not very level front to back. You'll have to drop the nose of you unit to level it, so if you have a rear door you'll have a big first step. Even if your door is in front of the wheels you'll still have 4" drop off the paved pad. About 30' is max for this campgrounds. Beach is starting to be taken over by geese and their dropping have to be dodged along the beach. - Wi1dBi11

Located less than a mile from Highway 70 with no highway noise. Large, well maintained campground with two ponds. Clean restrooms and well manicured lawn and sites. Didn't use the wifi. Satellite reception was good. Turns are challenging for a big rig, but doable. My main criticism is that I couldn't find a level site in the pull through sites (didn't see one in the campground - but there may have been some). - Russ60

Like other reviews said they are very friendly helping with anything that comes up. It is a beautiful older park with two ponds. It is very convenient to I70. Only small thing was no cable or it probably would have been a 10. - Warren T

Lots of green grass and trees. The owner here was fantastic. He seems like a very hard working, friendly guy, who runs the whole place himself and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you have a pleasant stay. I made reservations for my parents and my family six months in advance and had no communication with the campground in between, but the owner knew who we were by name as soon as we arrived and was eager to help us check in and get situated. There was a wasps nest in one of our electrical boxes so he got some wasp spray and took care of that. Picnic tables and fire rings are not at the sites but the owner offered to bring either or both to us. In the area we were camped there are several tree stumps to beware of. One fell right outside my parents camper door, and another my father nearly hit with the back of his camper when pulling out. The sites across the road from us weren't being used so the owner let us pull our trucks onto the road so that we were situated however was best to be level, avoid the stumps, and to not have to unhook our campers for our overnight stay. - Juniper94

Picked Wolfie's due to decent Good Sam ratings. We had scheduled a visit to The Wilds, which is about 15-20 miles away, and decided to spend 3 nights to take in other a few other things. This is a nice little CG. We would definitely stay again. Very peaceful and everything is well maintained, but if you are looking for room for sitting out beside the fire ring, the sites with enough room for that are limited. The pull through row we were in was VERY tight. - VacuumTubeAmpMan

We just stayed 1 night getting in late during a rain and leaving early, so we didn't see or use much. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. Tall trees and woods are throughout the property. Gravel roads and pull-thru sites are a little narrow but flat and acceptable. Breaker box was loose and in need of repair. It looks like mostly seasonal people or frackers stay here. We would stay again. - EVO_Bob

Glistening clean and well-kept bathrooms and cabin. Cabin 2 was, as advertised, tight inside for 4 adults but two sets of shelves gave us plenty of room to store belongings. Cabin had microwave, fridge, TV, window A/C (we opened the windows instead, it was a nice night). Picnic table was unlevel. The dish washing sink was handy for supper but not open in the AM until around 8:30, so we washed our early breakfast dishes in a pail. Be aware $8 extra for each adult after 2. - CleanAndSafe
