If you want a parking spot while you leave the site to go sightseeing all day....JUST coming back to sleep...this is the place for you. If you want a spot to enjoy a campfire and conversation with neighbors, look elsewhere. Sites are very close (narrow) and sloped so don't count on using your fire pit or picnic table. $50 charge if you move your fire pit. No breathable mats allowed. Crushed limestone on roads and "pads". Wifi and water pressure minimal. Staff member, when we arrived, was very nice. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Appears to be a fairly new park, terraced up a hillside. Site was long enough and level. Nice playground. Wi-Fi was reasonably fast. Main demerit was that the sewer is located slightly uphill from the parking area of the site. Utilities worked well. Apparently there is a shooting range nearby. We could hear gunshots but couldn't locate their source and didn't hear any sirens. Still somewhat concerning. No place in the park to take a leisurely walk as it is hilly and the large gravel makes it hard to walk on. No pool or cable, but clear view for satellite. Located in the pretty, hilly Amish country. No tress but some grass in the park. We would probably look for another place next time. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice park to stay in if you are going to visit the Amish area of Ohio. It is a small park, gravel roads in the shape of a fan. Roads easy enough to navigate in our 36' Class A. had site 27, back in very easy. Mostly pull though sites with a few easy back-ins. Good satellite access from most sites away from the trees. FHU's to the rear quarter of coach. Electric and water good. Site was level. Verizon signal good. Good Wifi with full park. No cable only over the air. The road noise did not bother us in the motorhome. No laundry on site. Basketball court, volleyball court. Teatherball court. Nice office staff. Park close to Berlin and Millersburg. There is an after hours sign in at the office door. Will stay here when we return to the area. Might call ahead to check availability especially on weekends. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Inside tip: Go to the village of Sugarcreek. It is a small Swiss-themed village. World's largest Cuckoo Clock. Also go to Swiss Village Bulk foods just for the experience, and try the soup mixes.

Very good park, staff was helpful and good natured, washroom/showers clean and roomy.

We spent Labour Day week-end on our way back to Texas and thoroughly enjoyed the Amish/Mennonite region. The only negative was the lack of a laundry facility. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is adjacent to a very busy highway with a lot of huge trucks using the engine brake. We were in a pull-thru on the front row for our first night, which meant we got very little sleep. We moved to the back of the park (space 24) for our next 2 nights and it was significantly quieter. It was a convenient and central place to stay for 3 nights to visit the Amish community. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are several thrift shops in nearby Millersburg. There is also a great cheese/vegetable stand (a huge one) with farm animals.

We found the layout of this park to be very good. There was good space between the sites, but because it is a new park the trees are not yet established. The amenities are very good. The WiFi is excellent and the office staff is very helpful. They have a very good recreational area. They also have very good restroom and shower areas, but in this area they are lacking in cleanliness. We mentioned this in our last review in the park, but we didn't see any improvement. We need to mention that they have a very nice walking trail through the woods. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The only complaint is the way the park was layed out, you are always in the sun. You can't escape it. They really need to get some trees going. Finally we had to sit behind our motor home to find some shade, very uneven lots. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with well laid out hookups. Most of the sites are pull throughs and close to level, even though built on a hillside. Our biggest disappointment with this campground were the gravel drives and sites, which were very, very, dusty on our visit. There is a playground, a basketball court and a volleyball court on site. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping: Walnut Creek Cheese (grocers), Troyer's Market, the 2 cheese plants, 2 flea markets and many shops in Berlin and surrounding areas.

We ate at "The Amish Door" which has typical "Amish/Mennonite" fare which is basically comfort food as you will find at any of the 4 or 5 "Amish" promoted restaurants in the surrounding area.

Super friendly staff. We came on a Sunday and the office was closed, but there were instructions at the office as to which spots were open. We filled out our card and went and paid Monday morning. Most are pull-through, but we picked a back-in and it was level with full hookups and a picnic table and a fire ring. Short walking trail through the woods behind the campground and a basketball and volleyball court with balls provided. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. There is no laundry facilities here. The Wi-Fi worked really well. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Laundromat that I went to was Millersburg Coin laundry..1260 glen Dr. In Millersburg. It is not far from the IGA and the Walmart is right down the street. It was a very clean and convenient laundromat. Lots to do in the area with cheese shops and Amish stores. The RV park gives you a welcome booklet that has lots of info. About the area and there are pamphlets in the office also.

Check in was very efficient and friendly. The campground is clean and well maintained. The owners are very accommodating and make you feel welcome.
All sites in this park face due west with full afternoon sun. Afternoon shade available in tent sites around perimeter of park. Interior roads are gravel with a lot of washout.
Our back in gravel site was very unlevel and required extra pads under front wheels to keep them from being off of the ground. Entire site was on a slope which made sitting in our chairs outside next to impossible especially in the afternoon when our patio was in full sun. Campground is adjacent to a very busy highway with a lot of trucks using the engine brake.
WiFi available but weak and slow. Verizon signal was fair with satellite access good at our site but the farther up the hill you go, it would be next to impossible to get a good signal because of trees. Hookups conveniently placed and efficient.
Nice dog walk area in field that has mowed areas for walking your dog. Playground for children.
This is a fairly new campground, opening just 5 years ago. The owners are some of the nicest we have ever met. I just wish the sites had been designed a little differently to take advantage of the afternoon shade on the patio side. Some sites are pull through but some there are also back in's which is what we had.
Access to the campground from the north or south is down narrow and hilly country roads that is heavily traveled with Amish buggys.
There are no cabin or trailer rentals available. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart and IGA in Millersburg about 7 miles away. Lots of things to do in this area in Ohio Amish country. Convenient to Holme's county trail in Millersburg which is fantastic for walking, biking or running.
Convenient to Cat's Meow in Wooster, Ohio where you can get a tour if you call in advance.
Lots of buffet restaurants in area as well as other types of restaurants.

This park doesn't look like much, but it's very nice. The sites are easy to get in to with wide roads, the sites are terraced for a nice view of the countryside. We were from the area and stayed here for a week while finishing details for full-timing. We didn't do any site seeing, but there are many things to see in the area.

No cable, but the wifi was good. Friendly, helpful staff. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night for short tour of Amish country. Ideal location for our tour. Very clean park, all pull-thru sites and good access for large motorhome. They allowed us to park the motorhome in an adjacent lot on day of checkout while we toured with our toad, no extra charge. Friendly, family owned and operated, shows pride of ownership! Very nice small park close to everything in Holmes County. Stayed for 9 nights and toured area. Love this area. No laundry at park. Went to Millersburg for laundry. Pull site was good. Park is on hill. We had a big thunderstorm with lots of rain and roads did wash out some. Would stay again. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an almost new park and I can't say enough good about it. Welcoming, friendly office folks; clean restrooms & showers; neatly cut grass; herbs for cutting and use. The only negative is that it's right beside the highway so there is some road noise although at night it becomes minimal. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A newer campground located in the heart of Amish Country. Very efficient check in and very clean restrooms/showers. A great campground as a base for visiting the area. With the exception of about 6 smaller suites that back up to woods all the sites are pull thru. Because of road noise, I would recommend a site as far away from road as possible. We were in back row, site 37 that had a field to the back. Very nice for us. Noise would not be a problem in spring or fall with windows closed. Summer might be an issue. Highly recommend. We camped at Berlin RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
