This is our second stay here and we love this park. We had a pull-through that wasn't quite level but when we mentioned it they said they'd be fixing it thanks to us letting them know. They have newly remodeled bathrooms that are great! Easy in and out sites - everything worked great including the cable and wifi. Nice lake with ducks and Canada geese plus they make fudge and freshly-scooped ice cream in the office. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants - a few miles down the road is Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the village of Hudson. Nice quiet area, too! We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stopped for a few days to visit friends in the area. Very scenic park. Propane on site. Pool. Cable TV 40+. Many satellite friendly sites. (but workers did not seen to know which ones were sat friendly). Escort to site. Roads gravel and easy with larger rigs. Many pull throughs. Most sites level, but many in the 600's needed boards under front wheels to bring it to level. Site 613 is sat friendly but needed leveling. Verizon and T-Mobile good signals. FHU's are toward front of site instead of rear of site. Power pillars were loose in the ground, but did not seem to be a problem. Many washers and driers out of service, but there were new ones in creates not yet installed. Staff was friendly. We asked for a satellite friendly site only to be put on a site with trees, they did let us change sites. I would check the site, before accepting. This was a nice KOA but felt they need to put some work into the sites. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice KOA. The registration staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were escorted to our site. We didn't use any of the amenities, but the park seemed very family oriented. Our site was gravel and fairly level, but it rained every day we were there, so it got quite muddy. The park's proximity to Cuyohoga NP makes it an ideal base. There is a bit of train noise from the nearby rail line. Watch out for the large, pink painted rocks when pulling into and out of your site! We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland is well worth the drive. If you are not from the North East, look into opening an E-ZPass toll road account, which is good for several states, and acquiring the necessary transponder before leaving home. It saves time and money when traveling through Ohio on I-80. The Giant Eagle grocery store, about 2 miles east of the KOA, is great, and you can also purchase a transponder there and then open an account online.

This is a very nice resort style KOA with all kinds of amenities and activities for family camping. We had a level gravel pull thru with good utilities but no access to satellite in our site, but they do have cable. They young women in the office were just excellent at check in and we were escorted to our site. It was quiet at night and reasonable close to the turnpike for entry/exit. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

KOA 10% discount for a three night stay. Site was a back-in, FHU, 50 amp site. The electricity fluctuated between 112-120 volts. There was good spacing between sites and the sites are separated by railroad ties. At site #607 we had good Verizon cell/internet reception and good DishTV reception. We would stay here again. Got in late just for an overnight, but this is a very pretty campground, lots of trees and 2 lakes very close to I80. Typical check-in and escort provided by staff, (the reason we choose to stay at KOAs when we can) Didn't get to check out the store, but it looked substantial, would definitely stay here again. The sites have adequate space. Our site was not level and it had been a rainy time and the site was quite wet. Some difficulty leveling. The laundry was one of the cleanest and most reasonable I have encountered. A lot of the staff seemed to be pleasant, but poorly trained High School/College kids. It is very convenient to I-80 and the Cuyahoga National Park. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

This park is highly rated on RV park reviews but I'm not sure why. It is really an average CG. My review may be biased because we stayed here over a long holiday weekend and the place was jammed. Every site was taken and mostly by trailers with Mom, Dad, 3 kids and 2 dogs. Also, the section of the CG where we stayed is built over a spring and it had rained a lot recently so the spring caused the entire section to be a huge mud pit. All of the nice spring grass was underwater and you could not walk around without getting your shoes soaked. The CG is well-organized and has plenty of staff. There are some new features (swimming pool, cabins) and some things are not so new (machines in laundry are very tired). On a crowded weekend, the campsites are very close and some are hard to get in and out of - the poor guy with the new fifth wheel across from us tried a dozen times before he could back in. Other sites have much easier access and if the CG isn't busy, there is ample space. If you are looking for a decent CG with amenities like full hook-ups, cable (old cable and terrible picture), pool, CG store with ice cream and homemade fudge (absolutely delicious), this is a fine spot. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For us, the best nearby attraction was Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This relatively new national park has a number of fine attractions. The Ohio and Erie Canal, which has great historical importance, is no longer in use but there is a lengthy towpath for cycling/walking. There are over a hundred miles of hiking trails, a gorgeous waterfall, and a refurbished passenger train. We were happy to find such an excellent resource so close to Cleveland/Akron/Canton.

Park was convenient to the Cuyahoga Valley NP, and featured many normal KOA amenities. Our rate was better than expected for a full hookup site at a KOA ($37). Sites were mostly level with good spacing; park was not very full when we stayed. Bathrooms and showers were very well maintained. Wifi was serviceable but not great. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

1st impression driving into park says nice! We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Park has 2 restroom/shower buildings - PROS and CONS of each. CONS: We camped close to very old outdated restroom/shower building. While set up unisex style with private separate toilet/sink/shower rooms, all were dismal not cheery looking in need of some TLC w/new fixtures and updating,.Rooms were sized ok, but had poor ventilation and steamed up quickly and no way to escape the air but open the door, then you're exposed. Showers were very small/tight w/little room to move around. Rubber mats helps to absorb the water on the floor - but still wear your clogs. PROS: is the shelves and hooks for your stuff plus a small stool for sitting [all thoughtful convenience necessities for campers] Also the newer shower/restroom building located adjacent to the pool near the entrance of the grounds is very nice All unisex rooms set up the same way but larger, more modern bright and clean. Nice if some day they tear down old building and replace with copy of newer building as described. We camped at the back end of the campground on the grass and among the trees, which was very nice roomy and quiet. No issues there at all - nice area for big rvs down to tents. Campground layout was good w/pool, good condition gavel interior roads, cabins for rent, permanent and seasonal sites too - all well kept and neat looking. Appearance of grounds get best rating shows management cares. , We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean, well kept and run by good people. Rating SHOULD have been 8 or 9 BUT - this was our second stay at this KOA (the first was July 2015 in Site #601), and both times we had significant rain. Both sites became very swampy both times; the gravel area is not large enough to allow you to enter your rig without stepping on to earth or grass, making a mess of our trailer's floor in short order. It is impossible to move the rig farther to the driver's side because of utility hookups but even if you could water moving through the gravel is also muddy. In those instances where we visit a campground multiple times I look for improvements and upgrades the facilities and infrastructure. That was not the case here, as these two sites are not the only ones prone to flooding. I can understand in the busy season (July 2015) having to take whatever sites are left over, but in the case of this past weekend there were no less than a dozen full-hookup sites that went unoccupied that did not have this drainage issue. The situation this fall could easily have been avoided with more a more thoughtful site assignment. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

KOA 10% discount for a four night stay. Site was a back-in, FHU, 50 amp site. There was good spacing between sites. The sites are separated by railroad ties. We had some satellite reception, but trees interfered with reception from satellite #129. We had good Verizon cell/MiFi reception. Park WiFi worked well. The parking pad for site 604 was very soft gravel and mud that did not provide a solid surface for our motorhome. In spite of this we would probably stay here again. We spent a week here visiting family in Akron. This appeared to be the nicest campground in the area and was 28 miles from where we were visiting. But the convenient access to the Ohio Turnpike about 2 miles away made the trips back and forth very easy. And the $1 toll each way was affordable too.

The sites were not kept up nicely. Gravel sites were overgrown with grass and gravel roads with ruts and pot holes. Bath houses were typical - sub-standard - for KOA. I'm not sure why they think those combined bath's and showers are so adequate that they use them at their parks all over the country. They're damp, dank and lack basic ventilation. On a hot or cold day they're really uncomfortable.

Come on KOA update and upgrade your campgrounds!! We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Streetsboro is 3 miles from Hudson, Ohio. It's a lovely old town that's one of the nicer and more expensive suburbs around this part of Ohio. Great shops, terrific Farmers Market on Saturdays. Neat town square. Very good restaurants and bars, too. And, check out the local Heinen's Fine Foods grocery store. Wow, it's fantastic. If you're into looking at great homes drive around and ooh and ahh at the lovely neighborhoods, too.

First impressions: Entrance to the park is very picturesque; a winding road leads you in. Not sure I'd be comfortable with anyone coming the other direction though! Stop at office to register. Can't go farther because it is gated. You receive key card for entry.

Nice young lady checked us in and guided us to our space (#507) which is a long pull through toward the back of the park. Passed the catch and release fishing pond & pool (which looked very inviting). Our space was plenty long enough for our 41+foot 5th wheel plus our truck. Site was gravel, fairly level (no blocks needed) & plenty of space between you and your neighbor. Water pressure is very good. Voltage was only 114 per our meter inside rig. Cable was as others have stated; not so great. So we switched to our antenna which worked fine.

There a lot of trees which provide lots of shade which I DEEPLY appreciated! We didn't have any issues with limbs being in the way. Visitors are not supposed to arrive until noon, but I called the office and was told that my family could come earlier (they are the WHOLE reason we are here!). Visitor fee is $5/person/day. Children under 4yrs are free. They wouldn't let us stay longer than 3 nights. Just weird. We stayed here last year and would return again. All in all, we like this RV park. No major complaints. Better than most. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
