Most of the sites were not very long and some had a fair incline, so larger rigs probably should take care to scope things out before selecting site. Lots of tall trees provide good mix of shade/sun. One shower house with flush toilets (and laundry) for over 250 sites; several vault toilets scattered through camping loops. Verizon and OTA TV signals good. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

Two-way road throughout park and camping loops so fairly easy to navigate. Careful of ditches, though, when pulling into some of the sites.

Typical State Park, nice trails, nice lake, camp host cleaned vacant sites diligently, crowded on the weekend, trail ended right at our site but no big bother, washer and dryer surprisingly available on site. Problem with water pressure. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

$26.00 per night plus $8 Reserve America fee. Visited this campground for one night while traveling through. Very nice entrance off Rt 58. Nice, winding road back to the campground. Sign at registration office directed us to the Nature Center. Nobody was at the N.C. either so we proceeded to our reserved spot. Not at all what we expected. Site was definitely not the advertised 50' in length. We knew there weren't full hookups but expected to at least have water. Not so. Just electric. It's 2016...time to add water to each site. Quiet at night. Overall, pricey for just a little spot with an electric hook-up. Probably won't stay again when passing through the area. We camped at Findley State Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice state park with lots of spaces, roads and trails to bike, hiking, swimming and kayaking/canoeing. They are working to improve some of the campsites. There was water at the park but not at your site. We did have 50 amp electricity. We had to look for a level site, but most would be okay. We camped at Findley State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is another nice Ohio State park. We were on an electric hookup site in the first culdesac. It was a great spot! There was ample room between sites. Each site has a fire ring and table. We got several channels on the antenna. AT&T service was good. There are a lot of pine trees that provide shade. It was in the mid 90s the four days we stayed and the humidity was extreme so we didn't check out the area much. We will definitely stay again but will get a site in the circle because there aren't many sites that can accommodate a 35' RV with a tow vehicle. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

Neat little places in Wellington just a bit north of the park. Dimitri's is a good place for late lunch - big local crowds at noon.

Happy that Finley State Park finally added electric to several of their sites. The park location is ideal for our visits to the area we grew up. This park's location made for a short drive to the Lorain County Fair, located in Wellington Ohio. The Lake is soon to be dredged, a holding location was being constructed during the summer of 2o15 that will hold the material removed from that operation. For those who fish, the lake provides good fishing which starts as soon as ice starts to clear the lake surface with pike becoming hungry and aggressive early spring. Bass, crappie, and bluegills are also plentiful. Walking trails through out the park as well as disc golf and a sandy beach area for swimming. Canoe rental is also offered. The campgrounds has rental cabins for those who do not own an RV. We camped at Findley State Park in a Truck Camper.

This is a great state park. With all the tall pines you don't even feel like you are in Ohio anymore. This campground is big and the trails are nice. They have a fun Halloween camp out that is always booked solid and a great car show in the summer. You can rent canoes for the lake. This place is th definition of camping. Some of the sites are tight but there is a lot of great sites also. We camped at Findley State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here two nights while visiting friends. We had a back in site with electric. There are no water or sewer hookups here. We were gone during the day. Since this is an off season, we were the only unit on our loop. So this was a very quiet park and the rangers did drive by to check on things several times during the day. We would stay here again and are glad the state parks are open year round. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park; paved streets, adequate to large sites, and a lovely setting in a very wooded environment surrounding a lake. Cell phone signal spotty, shower house is just OK, latrines throughout the camping area not to great. Limited activities, electric hookups 20-30-50 amp, no water or sewer, good area to ride bikes with paved roads, nice trails, friendly staff and host. Overall a nice state park, $28.00 a night. We camped at Findley State Park in a Tent Trailer.

This is a very nice park; paved streets, adequate to large sites, and a lovely setting in a treed environment surrounding a lake. We were helped by hosts that were very friendly. Only a few sites are big rig friendly: the data on the reservation system is not entirely accurate, although we did appreciate knowing which sites were DirecTV friendly. Verizon AirCard and Cell service were marginal but usable. Nice trails, great dump station, and good fishing access. This would be a "10" for us if it had water and sewer hookup sites. We'd stay here again. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

This large park offers plenty of activities for the camper, including hiking, swimming, boating (only boats with electric motors, canoes or kayaks are permitted), fishing, trail biking, and disc golf. The well-spaced, nicely laid out campsites are located well away from the highway. The park is outside of the Cleveland – Akron sprawl so there is no over-air TV reception. I was also unable to obtain a Verizon wireless signal. The base rate for an electric site (no water, no sewer) is $25 for Sunday through Thursday nights, and $26 on the weekends. Making an online registration adds an additional $8.25 to the total fee. My recommendation is not to bother with pre-registration for stays during the week – particularly during off-season. When I arrived on a Thursday night in September there were dozens of spaces available. I was informed that even on Labor Day weekend the park was not entirely full. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.

Lovely large Ohio state park on Route 58 slightly south of Lorain, just south of town of Oberlin (home of Oberlin College). Many sites, excellent paved roads, many long hiking trails, lake, very wooded, good facilities. Convenient and good dump site and water available. Enough room for everyone to bike, hike, relax. Quiet, easy to find. Go south on 58 through lovely farmland area and see Amish carriages on the road with you. We camped at Findley State Park in a Motorhome.
