I have camped here several times over ten or so years. The owners are wonderful, but the overall "feel" of the campground has changed for the worse. The grass in many areas has not been mowed and you can really tell it around some of the many long-term campers. Lots of trucks parked in areas by construction workers make navigating the already tight roads difficult. I am sorry to see this change, but this will probably be my last visit to this campground. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Motorhome.

As others have said owners are very nice and campground is clean. If you have a smaller rig this place will work for you. If your RV is more than about 27 feet, I do not recommend it. There are a couple longer sites but those were always filled. Even with a 27 ft RV, most sited have no place for your tow vehicle to park. The down sides here are the small sites that are close to each other. Almost no real place to even sit outside in a chair. There are many long term folks here that use the open "gray water" drains. Judging by the odor and closeness of the drains, I surmise they are draining more than gray water. Yes, there is free fire wood and raised fire rings but they are so close to other campers it would be a risk and very inconsiderate to have a fire as smoke would be all over your neighbor and probably you too. The driveway in and out is steep and only wide enough for one vehicle to go thru at a time. If someone is coming out you will have to back out onto a busy state route to let them out. Also, seasonal campers are allowed to park their tow vehicles face in towards their RV in the main drive where the dump station, again, creating a one lane situation. If someone is dumping, no one can go in or out because of this. It didn't rain during our stay but if it did, part of your site will be muddy. I would stay elsewhere next time we are in the area. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

It may be unfair to review, as we didn't "stay" here, but the place was so small we didn't feel comfortable backing our 31ft travel trailer into a spot. Arrived after hours. Back of trailer scraped ground exiting park due to steep driveway. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is situated within the heart of the Ohio Amish Country. The owners were extremely helpful and very nice. The roads in are a bit tight and the sites are somewhat close to one another, but because there are only 50 or so sites, you don't notice the crowding. Each site shares a gray water drain with an adjoining site (It is a plastic barrel buried into the ground filled with gravel). These were extremely handy given there are no sewer hook-ups, only water and electric. Most of the sites have some shade or are fully shaded. One issue we had was that someone had pulled their tow vehicle into the campsite we were supposed to be in and the owner could not find them. They accommodated us with another campsite with no issue at all. This campground was very quiet in the evenings which was very nice. The camp store is very limited and not open on Sunday, and there are no organized activities at the camp. Enjoy the Ohio Amish stores! The campground provides free firewood in the form of woodshop castoffs. We wouldn't cook food over it since much of it has wood glue in it, but it is just fine for sitting around. Very nicely kept campground. Some people commented how quiet it is and that you can hear horse buggies pass. Not really correct on that note. You are very close to a State Road, very heavily traveled, however, that is not a reason to stop you from staying here.

Very well maintained. Sights are reasonable spaced, typical for a small private campground. They have nice fire rings at each site and free local wood for burning. Many shaded sites. Bathroom are very, very clean. I would highly recommend. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Well maintained small park.. Sites are on the small side, but I fit in with a 38' fifth wheel. We had free ice cream on Saturday night! Run by Menonites, very nice people friendly, helpful. We had reservations at Elsewhere but they lost our reservation on Memorial Day weekend. Sent us packing, but called here for us. Because of the way we were treated at The other park we would recommend this park. I had offered to dry camp at the first park but they would not allow me to run a generator. Would recommend Amish Country Campsites. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

The only reason I gave this park an overall 8, was because some of the sites were small. We have a 26 ft trailer, and it just fit on our site. However, there were bigger sites, but they were already occupied since we stayed Labor Day weekend. Very close to many Amish towns. Would stay here again. Owners very nice. Very tight entrance, lady sent us to a site that was occuppied. Found another site but we had to straddle 2 sites. Very tight had to unhook trailer so we could get out of the site. Do not even consider this park if you exceed 40 feet. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice and clean campground. Lots of shade, gravel roads, and free kindling firewood. Restrooms and showers are the cleanest! Local television available. We spent 3 days here and could have easily stayed a lot longer! We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice cozy and quaint campground. The campground is in the heart of Amish country, and you hear the clip clop of the horse and buggies going down the road. There is a horse and cow pasture the campsite backs up to. Restrooms and bathhouse were very clean. If you love the country, and are fascinated by the Amish culture this is the campground for you. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...free firewood. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 5 days before attending a rally in Sugarcreek, OH. We had stayed here several years ago and everything was still the same high quality as before. The restrooms and showers were some of the cleanest we have ever seen. The owners are Mennonite and are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a site where we could let our grey water out into a gravel filled "dry well". This worked fine. If we are going to visit the area again, we would definitely stay here. Water and 30 amp hookup. Gravel sites fairly level. As stated before parking by your RV is tight. Free firewood and nice mostly shaded. We didn't have a grey water dump but some did. We used the dump station. It is not level but worked OK. The store has hand made and home items. The jam is terrific. The entire area is Amish and there are lots of shops to visit. The owners are very friendly and keep the campground in great shape. I don't usually mention restrooms but these were immaculate. Verizon phones had good reception. Their Wi-Fi was the best we have had in any campground. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here during the weekend of the July the 4th and it was packed. Luckily the campers were all polite and quiet so the crowded conditions were fine. Electrical and water were fine; we had a site with a grey water drain: not all of the sites have them (dump station is available). Lots of trees: gravel sites with a picnic table and fire ring; sites are not level. Back-in only. We only saw two big motorhomes and they were very cramped (bumpers almost touching the RV behind them) so I would not recommend this CG to 40'+ RVs. Your truck/tow vehicle will not fit on the site. You have to park perpendicular to your RV, or up on a hillside. Family oriented CG: lots of families here return year after year. Free firewood. Nice pasture at the top of the CG to walk the dogs. We would stay here again. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here 5 different trips, and have never been disappointed. The owners are always helpful and friendly. Restrooms and showers may be older, but are well maintained and extremely clean. Some sites offer gray-water disposal which since we have a sink and no bathroom, for us it is like full hookup. The campground is centrally located to the Amish towns in the area making day trips enjoyable. Be sure to visit Kiem Lumber in Charm, Lehman's Hardware in Kidron, and ice cream at Troyer's Market just outside Berlin. We will be back! We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the best campgrounds my family and I have ever visited. Yes, the sites are small, but the family atmosphere outweighs any thing else. We have been camping here for about 25 years, once a year. The bathrooms are outstanding and clean. The showers are clean and spacious. Flowers abound in the well kept campground. We took time to smell the roses since there are many roses in the yard. Hummingbird feeders are hung around the owners home which also serves as the office. The free firewood is also a plus. The wonderful owners are Mennonites and great people. There is only a small playground for the children, but there is a beautiful campground to walk around. You can listen to the Amish buggies pass along the main road, and on Friday nights and Saturday nights, an Amish family visits the campground to sell their baked goods and home made crafts. This campground is a pure delight if relaxing is what you have in mind for a great camping trip. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Tent Trailer.
