This is a very pretty, well laid out campground. Our site was level, great hook ups. Nice smallish salt pool. I would have given it a 10, but we found the speed bumps unnecessary & annoying, & the excessive posting of rules a bit oppressive. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice place to stay. We stayed in a 45ft motorhome. Had a large pull through with plenty of space. Lots of families and kids. Good wifi. Gravel sites, fairly level. Lots to see in Zanesville and surrounding area. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Art. Sculptor Cotrill's studio.
National road museum.
My husband and I stayed here overnight in our 40' while traveling from Indiana to Pennsylvania. The road leading into the campground (Buckeye Drive) is a narrow two-lane uphill road, so use caution when operating your rig up/down this road.
The family orientated campground itself is extremely well maintained in regard to landscaping and cleanliness, and the staff could not have been friendlier. The sites are gravel and fairly well-spaced, although not perfectly level (but what site is?) and included a fire ring and a picnic table.
The rate that we paid was a Good Sam rate and included 50 AMP electric service, water, sewer and cable TV. WiFi is also available and is free; however, we have our own MiFi so we are unable to comment on speed of theirs. We did utilize the restrooms and they were extremely clean. The laundromat ($2.00 for washer (approx. 30-minutes) and $1.25 for dryer (approx. 45-minutes) was extremely clean and offered a dollar changer as well as laundry detergent and fabric softener.
The pool looked inviting and extremely clean as well; however, the weather didn't offer us the luxury of swimming. There is an onsite store, game room, shelter pavilion, playground and a walking trail.
We would stay here again and would highly recommend it. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
Overnight here every year. Very clean, nice gravel pullthroughs, nice space between campers. No tight spots. Quiet. Well marked signs from interstate (easy to see during day) no cable, 4 stations off antenna. Also has picnic area with grills. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Out of the way but ok for overnight. Not others to choose from and stop way before office for overnight stay as these pull thrus are on left near entry. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $34.00
Would have rated it a 10 if they had cable. We were looking for a stopover spot; great find. Very clean and well kept grounds. Will return here. Owner was friendly and helpful. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $35.00
This is a nice campground. It is sort of hard to get to. We came in after dark so it made it harder. It was getting full we got there, so we did not have too many sites to pick from. It is a quiet campground. Roads are nice. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Adventurous trip UP to the campground - it is at the top of a hill. It was very clean. The sites were level enough. There is a nice playground and a very clean pool. The wifi was very good. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
We were assigned #40, a nice long pull through. Worked good for our 40' MH and tow. Wi-fi worked good, which is rare. Narrow roads getting to the CG and about 2 miles from freeway. We hoped we didn't meet another big rig. Gentleman who checked us in was very nice. My husband took the grand kids to the pool. No one else was there but the 10 year old got yelled at by a lady for jumping in the pool. Yes there was a sign--no jumping! Glad we stayed only one night. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
Quiet and tidy, friendly helpful staff, clean modern pool, great location, and streaming WiFi 24/7--what's not to like? We stayed for a week, explored the area, and relaxed. We will stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
This is a gem of a place! 2 miles off the highway equal no highway noise at all! Charming and clean bathrooms, roomy sites, pretty setting with plenty of shade trees, a walking path, and an inviting looking playground. Run by nice people and we appreciated the quiet and comfortable atmosphere here. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Truck Camper.
The restrooms are sparkling clean, and they made upgrades so the showers have plenty of room. On a hot day, the pool is wonderful. The pull-through sites will fit big rigs. The grounds are lovely and green. Full-timers for 12 years, we think this is one of the nicest campgrounds anywhere. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate is with Good Sam discount for a water/electric site (#28). Quiet park that appears to be well managed. Owner recently updated the restrooms and showers. Convenient to I-70, but far enough away to have no road noise. We stayed two nights so we could tour The Wilds. We would stay again. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Motorhome.
