Pleasant manager trying to deal with a year long detour at the street corner nearest the entrance to the park. They helpfully texted us a map to navigate the detour. Interior roads and sites are gravel and somewhat level. Sites are back in and pull through. Mostly stayers with some sites for over nighters and short termers. Sites are close but we could put out slide. Lots of shade. Water faucet was about 10" above the ground and easy to access. Valet service to pick up trash at your site, but in our case the dumpster was close by. Small swimming pool that was closed by the end of September. Navigating initial trip to site to park was aided by an escort. Park was very quite in spite of being near full. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Arrived late, Office closed. Rates not posted. Parked in available spot with intention to pay in the morning. As it turns out the office only open non till 3 because of the season. When office did ope, the staff was nice and friendly. Biggest problem was sewer hookup too far forward for my drain. Difficult to locate due to lack on signage on main road. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very quiet, quaint park. Most sites are quiet except for 8-10 sites right next to the highway, although these were probably long-term sites. All roads & sites in park were gravel. Site was easy to get in & out mainly because no one was there. Maybe half of the 70+ sites were occupied. If the park was completely full, getting around would be a nightmare. Water outlet was six inches below ground and barely above the soil. Very tough to get connected. Most sites weren't like this, but ours was. The biggest problem for this park was ONE bathroom for the entire park. One for men & one for women. The shower is also inside the bathroom. Nearly every time I went to use the bathroom, it was being used. When I was using the bathroom, someone else knocked to use it. They have good space in the park (and empty/unused buildings) to add more bathrooms. However, the bathroom was clean and nice. Wifi was spotty - only worked about half the time, but Verizon hotspot worked. Laundry room was superb & cheap. Staff was more than accommodating as they refilled propane twice per day at your site during the winter. Took nearly an hour to check out which was very frustrating as it was the only moment when time was an issue. For all its flaws, it is a quiet park with friendly folks and polite staff. Price was extremely reasonable. Would stay here again. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We went as a club from out home area. Park was a very good place to stay. Price was good. Staff was very helpful. They had a club trailer we could play cards or games in. There was another club in the park at the same time, so they were using the club house at the same time. They were very nice people that we hope to see again. Both clubs joined again for church on Sunday morning, worked very well. We visited a lot of nice places in the area. We plan to return and stay at Riverside again. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice older park. Very well manicured landscape. Service perfect. They put us in a site that was not quite long enough, but told us not to worry about being in the space behind us. (These were parallel spaces.). They did this so we would not have to unhook!! That is service! We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an older park by the Caney river. Very convenient when you are wanting to tour Bartlesville. The spaces are gravel, dry and dusty, with lots of cottonwood trees. There are a lot of beautiful flowers maintained by a worker. I did use the laundry which was good. We did not use the pool or showers. All did seem well. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a friendly little park that has a great atmosphere. It borders the river and there are many riverside sites. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The park is all gravel, but all sites are level and shaded by trees. There is lovely landscaping throughout. There is a pool, which is showing signs of age, but otherwise kept nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cleanest restroom and Laundry. The staff is the best. I had a problem with a brake on 1 wheel an one of them was right there to help fix it for me. Not many RV park owners would take the time to get their hands dirty to jack up a 5TH wheel and change out a brake assembly. I just can't say enough good things about them. Any time we are nearby we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A family owned campground along the Caney River with gravel roads and level sites, all EWS. Lots of landscaping flowers and fountain pool, and some large trees for some sites. The owner lady is friendly and all were helpful, and were all busy painting, mowing, while we were here. The bath house is only one male and one female, but both are very clean and nicely decorated. This is not a tourist destination, but an oil town so half of the sites are long stay workers. City code doesn't allow stays over 6 months, and campers most have permanent residency elsewhere owner told me. She told 2 campers here to tidy up their sites while I was here. She is trying to keep her campground topnotch. I was impressed. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

12 miles away is Woolaroc museum/wildlife preserve created by Frank Phillips of Phillips Oil Co. This a wonderful park with zebras, buffalo, ostrichs, deer, longhorns. Spectacular scenery. Extensive museum with native american artifacts, paintings, huge colt gun collection, and the Travel Air Woolaroc airplane that won the Dole pineapple prize for first airplane flight from US to Hawaii after Lindsburg's flight to Paris. Oil drilling drills and pumps.

Rate was with Passport America. Gravel pull-thru. Was escorted to site. Escort noticed broken sewer cap and replaced it and worked on cleaning out restrictions but sewer flow was still restricted. Hose bib for site 29 was down in a partially crushed plastic box making access a little difficult. Site 29 was nearer the end with all the permanents so there was quite a bit of traffic in the morning and early evening but almost all drove slow to keep the dust down. Cable and wifi worked good. Overall Rating:

This park is divided into two types of sites: long term and short term. The long term sites tend to be roomier and are back-in. The short-term, or over-nighters are (mostly) pull-thru and close together.

The entire park is alongside the Caney River and roads and sites are nothing but gravel and grass. Our site #18 was level and, thankfully, shaded in the afternoon. But the much appreciated shade blocked the satellite signal so we hooked up to the park's 13 channel cable.

The site was only long enough for our 37' 5th wheel, we had to park the truck on the empty site next to ours. The WiFi connection was shaky but worked well when the connection could be maintained. Verizon was good.

If you camp here be sure to bring a water pressure regulator, park line pressure is 100 psi. Power was reliable and steady, no voltage dips. Sewer connection is set high above ground: took lots of "construction" with blocks and boards to get the sewer hose to drain properly.

The park does offer Good Sam discount on the nightly rate but the weekly rate was a better value so we took a week and explored a lot of the northeast corner of Oklahoma, what the locals call "Green Country." We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects weekly, pay for 5 and get 7 nights. We had a water and electric pull thru parallel to the Caney River, about 10 yards away. These spots don't have sewer, but the park pumps your tanks several times a week. Good service. There are some long term campers here, but are quiet and friendly. The location is quiet while being in town. One morning I saw a raccoon walking across our patio. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Frank Phillips founded Phillips 66 and built a home and Woolaroc, a 3,400 acre ranch, museum, lodge and grounds-Do Not Miss this one! Price Tower downtown is the only Frank Lloyd Wright designed skyscraper built. A hot hamburger at Murphys Steakhouse was tasty and filling. A few miles north of Pawhuska is the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve, a more than 30,00 acre area returned to it's natural state and home to 2,000 buffalo.

Sites are oddly laid out. Our narrow gravel site was level. The sewer was not usable since it was located at the rear of the site. The campground was located next to the "Pathway Parkway", a very impressive hike/bike trail way that runs within the city. The WiFi worked, but was typically slow.
