Oct 2016 - $40.00
Very nice park close to I-40, gravel sites with shade. Sites were level and hook ups where close and worked correctly. Close to restaurants and shopping across interstate. Check in was smooth and lady at desk was very helpful. Indoor heated pool and hot tube. - roaming around
Jul 2016 - $40.00
Our one night stay turned into 5 days due to RV issues. Wonderful place to get stuck! Quiet park. Level gravel sites, great dog walking area. Indoor pool, weight room and beauty salon onsite. Clean laundry facilities. The campground also holds church services in their community room on Sunday morning. The staff is helpful and friendly, with great advice on local sightseeing. Easy access on/off highway. Close to restaurant, shopping, sightseeing. Would definitely stay again! - MbMurchison
Jul 2016 - $40.00
CG was gravel, site fairly level. Cable was pathetic, water and electric sufficient. Indoor pool but didn't use it. Our site was SO close to our neighbor, we could pass tea bags. The saving redemption was our driver's side was next to their driver's side. Good navigation roads. Staff was wonderful. Close to I-40 and there was noise. Residents were quiet. Some stored, junk RVs are in the back. A bunch of good restaurants are across I-40 (Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse). Would stay again for another two nights. - SD75mac
Aug 2016 - $31.00
A very fine park. A good value for the cost. - W Davidson
Mar 2016 - $32.00
Overpriced. Park in the middle of an industrial area. Construction on Council Rd made it noisy and hard to get to with the snarled traffic.
We picked this one based on a review that said you could not hear the freeway noise. It was very prevalent in our site, which was in the back of the park.
Dont plan on staying here if you want to stay hooked up unless you are a relatively small RV and don't need or want to go anywhere. - Drakelos
Dec 2015 - $32.00
We only stay at this park because it's convenient to visit relatives that live near by. The park is run down and in need of some pepping up. My biggest complaint is that the water hookup is underground and very inconvenient to connect the hose.
Lot spacing is nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel. - gobigred
Dec 2016 - $45.00
Arrived at the park just minutes after 5pm to find the office closes at 5pm. Confused we quickly noticed an envelope with out name and spot on it. Inside we found the typical map, guidelines etc paperwork you would expect. Weven easily found our way to our spot and set up camp.
Rained whole weekend we were there so no photos to post. However having paved roads and spots was an added bonus. Grassy areas were well maintained. Water, sewer and electricity were all as expected. WIFI was fine except in the evening which one would expect it to degrade.
We were about 3/4 the way back and yes the Interstate noise is there. I mean watching TV you won't hear it. But laying in bed at night you WILL hear it. Never woke us up but you hear it 24/7. Appeared as so close to 1/2 the residents were semi permanent. That being said never heard a peep out of anyone. Very respectful of noise.
Overall the park was just what we needed for a couple night stay. I would stay here again. - charlesmtexas
Oct 2016 - $45.00
Lots of good things to say about this campground: Very nice, long concrete pads with plenty of space between campsites. Full hookups including cable and good cell signal. Bathrooms/showers were nice and clean, although no place to set your stuff in the shower (just a hook and the floor). Fairly new campground so GPS could not find it--I followed directions provided by the office when I made the reservation. Very convenient for fuel, restaurants, and groceries. Pool and clubroom were very nice, although pool was closed for the season. The only real problem with the campground is the noise from I-40. I always expect noise when I'm at a campground right off the interstate, but this was very loud road noise because there's only a split rail fence between the campground and highway--no noise barrier. Fine for overnight--just bring your earplugs. - Smashcamp
Oct 2016 - $34.00
.This is a very nice park; also very new. It's tucked in besides Braum's and a couple of hotels. Easy on-off I-40. Pads were concrete, interior roads are paved and wide. There is nice spacing between the lots. The park is very clean, garbage is picked up at your site. Wi-fi was very slow. The downside is the noise from I-40. Knowing the park is right along I-40, the noise was expected. No matter where you are in the park, you can hear it. There is a nice dog park area. Workers are very friendly and helpful. - oldbluejay
Sep 2005 - $15.00
One of several Corps of Engineer campgrounds on Lake Texoma. Off the beaten path so it is more secluded and quieter than the more developed parks. Some of the waterfront sites are elevated above the lake with nice views. All sites are heavily wooded with lots of shade. Large gravel pads with picnic tables and fire rings. No sewer hookups but there is a dump station. Showers are pretty basic but clean. Some sites have a very long water run so bring an extra hose. Short hiking trail and group picnic pavillion. No developed swimming area, but two boat ramps and boats can be moored at waterfront sites. - rscraig
Nov 2016 - $49.00
Nice large park, concrete pads. Nice clubhouse. Lots of things for families: pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, etc.
One thing was the very slow Wi-Fi, hardly would work. Maybe due to lots of people using.
Would stay again. - 1rver
Nov 2016 - $44.00
This park is nicely laid out, very pretty with hills and lots of trees, well maintained grounds, and a staff that is friendly and helpful. It is one of the few RV resorts we have stayed at that actually seems like a resort. There is a spa where you can get a massage, a fitness center, miniature golf, a nice looking pool, and a small store. There is also a free limousine to nearby restaurants. There are a lot of hills in the park, but the roads were very easy to navigate and although there was an incline leading into our pull through site, the concrete pad was level where we parked. The bathrooms were clean although there were only two showers for this very large park. There was considerable road noise from the interstate when we were outside, but it did not bother us inside with the rooftop AC unit fan running. We will stay here again when we are in the area. - barrettjl
Oct 2016 - $44.00
Very nice park and the people were great. Stayed here in a 42 foot 5th wheel for a week at site W-19. The park site was concrete, with a patio, fire pit, very long and nicely treed. Excellent power pole location. No issues with 50 amp. Sewer had nice threaded connection allowed for a tight seal. No issues.
The park is improving sites (more concrete) and improving amenities with new outbuildings. Highly recommend the west side of park to stay. The WiFi and cable TV was very effective. The only negatives: The hilly nature of the park. (You need to be sure that your site is level, ours was). Other negatives were the noise from the Interstates at times, and the cost. - DIXIEDUALLY2013
Oct 2016 - $34.00
"NEW SECTION REVIEW" This is the new breed of RV parks, all the sites are cookie cutter same with close spacing. The site is a concrete pad long enough for a 40'+ Motorhome and toad with a 15' grass strip between pads. Unfortunately the pads are not level and may require leveling blocks. Utilities are in the rear 1/3 of the site and work as expected except the water. The spigot has the weirdest backflow valve I have ever encountered, just have them show you how it works!! The cable is 33 SD channels, OTA was 55 channels, satellite is available from all sites. Roads are all paved with wide turns in this section, unlike the older section. It appears a new office/club house is under construction in this area. The WIFI was totally unusable, my computer could connect to network but never got internet access. - lllkrob
Oct 2016 - $34.00
Very clean park. Older section is a bit tight on spaces for getting in and out. No picnic table. About 6 feet of grass between spaces. Sewer connection is at far rear of the site. Very close to I-35, however, noise level once inside was OK. Newer section looks better, but it is not yet finished. Clubhouse under construction. Did not see any pool or spa area. - Bobco
Sep 2016 - $44.00
Construction is finished. The park is once more accessible from the I-35 east frontage road. There are 2 entrances off the frontage road, plus you can drive in from the south on Hattie Road. The staff is wonderful! Very helpful. Laundry is nice, also inexpensive. Park is very neat, manicured grass and concrete. Spaces are close but quite long. There was plenty of room for our 38' motorhome and Jeep. We would definitely stay ere again. - SusanRon
Sep 2014 - $25.00
We were turned away from a park less than 2 miles away from this one because it was full. After a long & difficult drive, I searched my Allstays Camping app & we called this place to see if they had spots. Sure! This was far & away the worst RV park we have encountered. It is behind a gas station on an I-35 service road. The concrete was cracked everywhere. Our water spigot was broken but we just used our tank. The only other campers we spotted the day we were there were permanent residents with rusty trailers >25 years old mostly without wheels or even windows in some cases! We felt pretty unsafe. When leaving to go visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, we actually took our computers and left them in our car! But the worst part was that there were probably ten dogs chained to the old trailers & dog poop everywhere. At 5:30 a.m. one of the outside dogs began barking and never quit (we drove out at 8 a.m.). I'm a very positive person but I'm writing this review so others don't make the same mistake. It was very bad! - WinnebagoTraveler
Oct 2016 - $35.00
The park is nothing special just a place to setup, which includes FHU with 50 amp. Laundry facility which is in the front office. A few of the interior roads are paved. The majority of the park consisted of full time or construction workers The park is next door to a truck stop and down the street from a Walmart and Sam's Club. There are plenty of Restaurants close by. We have stayed here several times, cost per week $200 plus additional cost for 50 amp. The front part of the park is reserved for travelers staying over night, the road in this area is paved which is nice because there is a lot of traffic coming and going and the speed is not controlled therefor little or no dust. - Roy Fleming
Jun 2016 - $35.00
Park is very close to the freeway, and our space was the first one as you pull in. Needless to say, it wasn't a very quite stay. Also, their website says they give an AARP discount. When asked for the discount, we were told...it's $35. I guess because there was NCAA Softball in town, they weren't honoring their posted discounts. It's a shame, because this park is NOT worth $35/night. Regardless, we'll be reporting them to AARP as fraudulent advertisement. To their credit, they did provide a 30A/50A adapter. - DesignoSLK
Mar 2016 - $33.00
Dated facilites. Messy grounds with abandoned limo, rvs, cars, etc scattered about. Pads are slopped and cracked...hard to level the MH. Mostly full-timers with 2-3 vehicles per site. - foxrose
Dec 2016 - $18.00
We had a nice stay here. Commercial gate was easy to navigate. Sites are small and close together. Camp host aides in backing in. Facilities are spotless with free ice in laundry room. Some complain of aircraft noise but come on people, this is an AFB after all. Shopette & gas station are next door. - timbo1
Aug 2015 - $17.00
Great park. Parking is tight. There is a small pond (stocked). Very easy access from the gate off of highway. On Tinker AFB. Military access only. Host is very friendly and accommodating. They do not take reservations. 1st come - 1st served. I would come back again. - r Smith
Jul 2015 - $18.00
Small, but very nice with level, concrete pads. Half the sites are facing a small pond. No WiFi, but good water pressure and reliable electric. Clean laundry facilities. - CWinLV
Sep 2016 - $23.00
Office closed at 6pm. Very tight spaces, lots of vehicles on roadways, had trouble getting into a space, could not vet get parked, even had trouble navigating turns to escape. Bad place. - Tgbruner
Sep 2015 - $23.00
This RV Park has taken a turn for the worst!!! Stayed here approximately 5 years ago and it was clean and pleasant, now it's one of the nastiest parks I have ever seen. 90% of the park is full of permanent residents, around 1/3rd of them are what could be best described as no income pests. They live in dilapidated trailers and have no problem going door to door asking for handouts. There seems to be no park rules that are enforced, even though they are posted. We stayed reluctantly for a few days and boy what an experience that was. The only hookup that seemed to work well was the 50 amp service, water connection leaked at the valve, sewer line was broke off below ground level and covered with a broken cinder block, dogs tied up outside all day and night some even running loose, feces everywhere. This park has so much potential if someone would just spend a little time and money taking care of the little things. The location is fantastic, a little tight getting in but just minutes from anything Oklahoma City has to offer. I would suggest staying at one of the other RV parks in the area for a better piece of mind (One Scary Place)... - Lone Wolf
Jun 2015 - $23.00
We did not stay, park very run down, no room to get into a site due to permanent residents cars lining the narrow rd. We were just stopping for the night at 10:30 pm and had to wake a resident up to move their car parked on the corner so we could get out of the park. Better off on the side of the road if you have to rest. - Kbtx
