Really nice campground right off I-40. Nicely paved road and site pad. FHU with cable TV. Wi-Fi weak, but works. I had no problems navigating my rig to or into the site. My motorhome and toad are 58 feet. Short hike to Clinton Lake down the marked trail. Freeway noise is surprisingly low. Good food in their shop, BBQ beef sandwich was delicious. Trees provide some shade. Sites are a bit close, but they seem to try and keep an empty between campers. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

Older park that is located right off I-40. Lots of trees that make pulling into your site a little difficult. Sites are asphalt, narrow but long enough to stay hooked up. Not much space between sites. Limited cable, picnic table, camp store and cafe. Nice dog park. Was an ok park but not worth the price tag. The KOA we stayed in the night before we twice as nice and $10 less. Probably won't stay here again. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We had been here before and had no problems. The park has most of the usual KOA amenities. The pool was closed for the season and the internet was down. We had a short, narrow, pull through, FHU site on a gravel pad. We had reserved a site with cable TV, but the site had no cable connector. I walked back to the office and told them that our site had no cable connection. Instead of simply telling me to connect to the site next to me, the women went into a spiel about how old the park was and, if we did not like the set up, we could leave. A guy met me back at the site and gave the some story but did make sure I got connected OK. It sounds like they get this complaint a lot and tell the customer to "love it or leave it". Later the owner came by with the same story plus a threat to through us out because we complained. He was very aggressive to the point of reminding me of schoolyard bully. We won't be returning here. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

This is is a good overnight park. My view is that few KOA's are worth the premium price you pay. They said, this was a a nice clean park and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The site was level and all utilities including cable. Wifi is good during the day but slows down in the evening when the park fills up. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Watch out for overhead clearance due to overhanging trees. I missed hitting a branch with the awning cover on the passenger side of my 45' bus by about two inches. Otherwise everything was satisfactory. Really friendly staff. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Route 66 museum is fun. If you want a good steak try the Portobello Grill. Saturday night prime rib special. Perfectly cooked, very tender and really delicious. The actual town of Elk City is about 15 miles further west on I-40

For us this was an overnight stop on our way West. Access off an on the highway was easy. We stopped for fuel at the exit for the campground. We had a full hookup pull through site that was level and easy to enter. The only strange part was leaving. Depending on the loop you are on, you may meet another camper coming toward you on the one lane road. So.... look to see who's leaving at the same time. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Travel Trailer.

When going through Oklahoma on I-40 W, we have stayed at several other rv parks. This is the nicest in the Elk City area. The rate listed is for 3 adults. The help is extremely friendly and helpful. The RV park is nicely shaded and easy to navigate. Full hookups work well. Nice pool behind the office. They just built a huge dog park in the back of the RV park. Sites are very clean and level. The numerous shade trees are cut high enough so motorhomes/campers do not scrape the limbs. WiFi was excellent. They do have cable but it was fuzzy...used our satellite. We will stay here again on our next trip through. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

Rate is for a family of 5 with no discounts. They are accommodating and put us next to the pool so we could let the kiddos swim under easy supervision. The playground is from yesteryear and has the fun equipment not found in most places today; our kids love it. When the wind picks up along 40 this is great campground to shut down in because it has trees and seems to be somewhat blocked. For the rate I would expect a bit more care of the grounds but it's by no means run down. Site was level and all facilities were in order. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

The best KOA we visited. This was one clean campground. There were 2 areas for pets along with bags to use to clean up after your pet. The pool area was very clean. The cafe' was like being at a neighborhood pub, very friendly and relaxing. To say the entire staff was pleasant is an understatement! We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

A nice clean little park. Sights are a little close, but not real bad. Roads are paved, but a bit narrow. Nice trees. Although close to I40, not much road noise. Its an older park, but everything works fine. Nice people. Hot food. A little pricey, but most KOA's are. Sites are pretty level. Very nice grassy dog run !!! This was our second stay and will stay again if the need arises. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The facility was clean and staff was friendly. The campground is right off the freeway and there is nothing nearby worth seeing. The grass/gravel parking areas are fairly level and the hookups are in good repair. However the cable and Wi-Fi did not work. Even though we contacted the office and they said they would reboot the modem. It still did not work. The cable did not work for us nor for our neighbors. OK for a stopover while traveling. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

Needed a place overnight and this was right by the freeway. By the way, we were headed to Foss State Park first, and the bridge was out so check that situation out as well. This is an older KOA park. Asphalt was very uneven and needed to be redone. They have a lot of big speed bumps which I never understand, since they are so damaging to a big rig. We requested a space where we could get our satellite up and running and they do have selected satellite sites, but we have to jockey our rig around in order to avoid the many tree branches. The rig near us couldn't get satellite at all. But a convenient, quick place to overnight, although priced a little high, as KOA's are known for. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

There are not many choices of RV parks between Oklahoma City and Amarillo. We stayed at this park overnight on our way home and for that it is adequate. Cable is very limited, good Verizon signal, good water pressure and clean electrical power. This is a fairly typical KOA. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
