There are two sections in the campground. The West side is 50A FHU pull through, and the east side doesn't have sewer and is a mix of back in and pull through. We stayed in the FHU area. Honor system for payment with a box and envelopes. No host on site. Decent space per site, and easy to level. Easy pull through with a couple of trees providing some shade. Enough room to put down the garage patio. Sewer connection is 4" threaded but connection is below dirt. The bathhouse has 3 individual rooms each with sink, toilet, and shower. Strong hot water but not very clean. The lake is pretty but signs indicated a blue-green algae bloom was present during our stay. Easy walk to a nearby golf course. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What a gem! Sites 1-20 have no sewer, but Sites 21+ have full hook ups. Honor box payment. Spacious and level sites. Lake El Reno was scenic. Abundant waterfowl! Pet friendly with lots of places to walk. No WIFI but our AT&T phones/hotspot worked great. I would highly recommend this RV Park and plan to come back. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Our GPS had us go past the golf course and around the lake on a gravel road that came to a dead end! Be sure to turn into the park and follow the signs.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park with a beautiful view of the lake. Access is by a winding narrow street along the lake. Take it slow and easy: it's beautiful. Registration is all self-service. There are 3 areas: 1) primitive (i.e. tent), 2) RV spots with electric and water (East loop $15) and 3) RV spots with electric, water, and sewer (West loop $20). When we first got there, we could determine a tent-only area, but did not know there was a difference between the two loops. Better informational signage would have been very helpful. Initially the water hydrant for our spot had a huge leak from the valve stem, flooding our site and the road, so I connected to a hydrant on the other side. It was fine. With no way to tell anyone, I put a note in the pay box. Within a couple hours after that was collected, there was a team of men fixing it. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

I agree with other reviews, this park is a gem! What a nice way to end a long day. We did get a bit nervous when google maps took is through the golf course but we arrived at the RV park beyond the golf course without any mishaps. We stayed in the full hook up area and found it to have nice sized spots that were very flat. Many spots have a great view of the lake with plenty of open spaces to walk, bike or exercise your dogs. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice City operated campground with gravel roads with level grass sites. Grass areas between each site, no trees, table at each site but no fire pit. Walk to lake. Separate tent camping area and separate fhu area. Park well maintained. Site 1 - 20 w & e only and no restrooms or showers. No wi-fi signal, good verizon 4G, direct satellite and tv antenna signals. No cable tv, no pool and no office. Pay on the honor system drop box. 15 miles west of OK city and 2 miles from freeway, fast foods and w-mart. Would stay there again. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great campground for a one night on I40. The park belongs to the City of El Reno and is a great bargain. Water & electricity is $15 and full hook ups for $20. No internet or cable but many antenna channels from OK city. Payment is the honor system, place your money in an envelope and place in the slot by the driveway entrance. Did not use any facilities. You are in a city park with lake, golf and play grounds near by. It is located just a few miles from town. Great Campground for the road. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice city park with a lake. Overall in good repair. They are working on storm cleanup that caused a lot of tree damage. Level space on grass in east campground with electric and water. East campground spaces are a little tight, the west had full hookup and looked like bigger spaces. 30+ OTA TV stations and 3 bars on Verizon MiFi. Even 3 bars on Sprint 4G!

Lots of room to walk the dog around the lake, with plenty of geese and ducks. Enjoyed my stay and would return. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Price is for the west campground. The east campground is $15. Gravel, level sites. All connections are at the back of your sites unless you park in the middle of two sites which some campers did. We stayed in a site that we pulled thru, but if the park is busy it would have been a back in. Noise from highway was not a problem. The only problem we found was that dog owners did not pick up after there dogs. We came in on exit to Country Club Rd. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were concerned about finding a space on a weekend evening, but were the only vehicle in the section we stayed in. It is a cute park on a small lake. Our GPS took us through town and past a nearby prison. The next exit (eastbound) allows more direct access. The only problem we encountered was the electrical 30 amp service was marginal and we never found the dump station. We would stay here again. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were tired and needed an overnight stop. Found this small campground doing a search on the Internet. The campground is a gem. Payment is on the honor system. Park was not crowded when we were there. Restrooms were not open yet, but we're self-contained. Rate is for a water and electric site. Campground faces the small lake. There is no swimming pool, but there is a swimming area on the lake. Fishing is available from the campground, but the swimming area is further away. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We were disappointed in this campground. It is a city park and the golf course and picnic areas around the lake were very nice. The campground itself was old and much in need of renovation. The interior roads were dirt and many of the pads were grass. You would probably get stuck here if it rained. The electricity was antique 30 amp and many sites had improper breakers: ours had 50 amp breakers, the site next to us had 20 amp breakers. Price had recently been raised from $10 to $15. I would not stay here again. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

It was an easy campground to pull into and was very pretty. The lake was nice and it was very relaxed at the time about our dogs. The sign said it was $15 a night, but the slips said $10. There was some noise from I-40, but it was constant, so became like white noise. The dump station was almost impossible to find. It's on the corner of Country Club and Parkview, GPS location: N 35'31.853' and W 097'58.389' Sorry about the GPS location numbers, still not sure how to format them! I'm also adding it to Google Maps. We will definitely use this as a stopover point in the future. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a city run campground offering 30 amp & water hook ups. There are no restroom facilities and we never did find the dump station. Over half of the sites are pull-throughs and some of them face toward a pretty lake. The roadways are easily accessible to the largest of rigs. At $10 a night this campground is a real find. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little park for $10 (honor system) with 30 amp service. It's a short drive into El Reno, but has a country feel. The dump station for the park is way on the other side of the golf course so it's quite a distance away. There are no signs within the park to tell you where it is. We went to the Chamber of Commerce office to find out. Great value for the money. There are no rest rooms or laundry room on site. We camped at El Reno Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
