7 Parks near Foss, Oklahoma
Oct 2015 - $27.00
We went for the full hook up sites which were on the opposite side of the park from the lake. Sites were level and were long enough for our camper and truck. The other sites were kind of close but we didn't spend much time there so it was okay.
If you want great views go for the lake side sites. They have hookups but no sewer.
Park itself was very nice and we would stay again. - John Borajkiewicz
Sep 2015 - $25.00
Cedar Point, which is in Foss State Park, is a beautiful campground right on the lake. We stayed here in site #1, which had a fabulous view, electric and water at the site, a nice level cement pad, a spacious grassy area, park bench and grill. There's a dump station on the way out, which we used.
The grounds are actually quite big and there are places for group picnics, a frisbee golf course, etc. A small marina is within walking distance and in the Summer a restaurant is open (we missed getting to try it out as it was already closed for the season).
It was a peaceful location. We'll return to this spot if passing through again. - Ree Klein
Aug 2015 - $22.00
We were coming in on a weekend, and the ranger suggested we go to the North part of the lake, as the Southern part campgrounds fill up faster. We found a number of available sites, with 50 amp, and even a view of the lake. There were concrete pads to park on and sites had to use the dumpstation when leaving. It was very quiet at night, despite many campers and RVs in the area. There are no nearby stores for shopping, other than a bait store or two. We enjoyed our stopover. - elduque
Jul 2016 - $43.00
When going through Oklahoma on I-40 W, we have stayed at several other rv parks. This is the nicest in the Elk City area. The rate listed is for 3 adults. The help is extremely friendly and helpful. The RV park is nicely shaded and easy to navigate. Full hookups work well. Nice pool behind the office. They just built a huge dog park in the back of the RV park. Sites are very clean and level. The numerous shade trees are cut high enough so motorhomes/campers do not scrape the limbs. WiFi was excellent. They do have cable but it was fuzzy...used our satellite. We will stay here again on our next trip through. - User2396
Jun 2016 - $42.00
The best KOA we visited. This was one clean campground. There were 2 areas for pets along with bags to use to clean up after your pet. The pool area was very clean. The cafe' was like being at a neighborhood pub, very friendly and relaxing. To say the entire staff was pleasant is an understatement! - NancyT
May 2016 - $41.00
The facility was clean and staff was friendly. The campground is right off the freeway and there is nothing nearby worth seeing. The grass/gravel parking areas are fairly level and the hookups are in good repair. However the cable and Wi-Fi did not work. Even though we contacted the office and they said they would reboot the modem. It still did not work. The cable did not work for us nor for our neighbors. OK for a stopover while traveling. - vtaylor
Sep 2013 - $30.00
We got by for one night but would not stay here again except as a last resort. Very crowded with oilfield workers. Quiet but not attractive at all. Just a place to stop and sleep. We would only stay here again if there were no other choice. - nitronorton
Dec 2006 - $22.00
This is an older park, but was quite well kept up. This was our port in a storm after strong winds tried to take our awning off, we stopped here for one night. There are pecan trees throughout, and it looks like there are some long term campers here, but on the whole is clean and well kept up. - Sid
Mar 2016 - $28.00
Very good instructions for late arrivals. Be careful of directions to them, as without escort to short term sites, turns can be confusing. Short term sites level, long and defined. We enjoyed our overnight visit. - SDCampowneroperator
Mar 2015 - $35.00
Well, I'd have to say this place was terrible. It is by far the worst campground I've been to. The rest rooms if you like to call them that were absolutely filthy. It was disturbing how unclean, and vile they were. The cheap linoleum was coming off the floors. There was absolutely no toilet paper, and on arrival we were told there was no hot water. Not that you would want to take a shower there. Since the shower floors were absolutely filthy and not fit for a dog to be in. Thankfully Love's is across the street, and their bathrooms were clean. There is no cable, and wifi is non-existent. If your looking for a quick overnight, and don't need to use the bathroom or shower then this your place, if you do avoid this place at all cost! - JayC90
Apr 2013 - $25.00
Military discount applied. Park was full. 50 amp was missing one leg, mgr said "It worked last night" and didn't offer any help. CableTV did not work, again mgr offered no help. All sewer connections were missing lids. Pull-through site #49 was obviously only for pop-up tent trailers, we had to back out of the site. Park is for sale and apparently is not being maintained. Wi-Fi was intermittent. When checking in we got a receipt and verbal directions to find our site (that were wrong) and when we asked for the Wi-Fi access code the manager said "there it is on the whiteboard (barely readable), I don't know nothing about computers". Access road is directly behind the Loves Travel Park and access is single lane, I had to move for an entering school bus. We would never stay at this park again! - NorCal Dan
Jun 2016 - $33.00
Found this RV Park on a billboard off of the interstate, called them to see if they have a spot available for one night, they did. I headed their direction. Their base rate for 30 amp is $33 a night -10% discount for good Sam, AAA, and other various clubs. Not sure how much the 50 amp is per night but I think it might be $38 a night.
They have two Wi-Fi towers available for no charge, they have two bath houses, they have cable television at every campsite and it's close to local markets to pick up various items - Denise M Smith
Jun 2016 - $32.00
Echoing what others have said with the exception of the bathrooms. Each bathroom contains a toilet, sink and shower which was realy nice, but the one I used was dirty and needed a good deep cleaning. Dead bugs on the floor and no hot water in shower. Office was closed so could not report it. - Wndopdlr1
Oct 2015 - $28.00
Good level gravel sites that are close together. Wi-Fi was spotty and cable was average. Showers and laundry very clean and nice. Interstate was close and you could hear it early in the morning. Good for an overnight stay. - Biggyrat
Jul 2016 - $1.00
This is a small City Park that has five RV sites which are free on a first come, first serve basis for a max stay of four nights. The park is clean and well kept. Each site has a fairly level asphalt pad with grassy areas between the sites. There is thirty amp electric with water available at one spot to fill up your tank if needed, but I understand this is shut off in the winter. No sewer and no dump station. There is a bathroom located at the picnic area, but we did not go in, so I can't say if it were clean it not. Based on the overall cleanliness of the park, I would imagine they were clean. There is a pretty little lake that had a couple of boaters. The park is located in a quiet area. The lady who gave us directions was very nice and helpful. - PaLa
Dec 2015 - $1.00
This was a beautiful little park that is first come first served but is free to use. There is a lake with wildlife. The setting is so pretty and serene, quiet. We have a 35' motorhome and while it took a bit of maneuvering, we were able to park comfortably. It is a level paved pad with grass next to you. There was electric, but in the winter no water. There is no dump, no services. except for nature. It is not set up for campfires or cooking. Maximum stay is 4 nights. I-40 is close, but you definitely don't hear it. Woman I called to inquire about the park, was very nice, very helpful. We would go again. - dorcol
May 2015 - $1.00
This is a free RV park, maximum stay of 4 nights. The park is just outside town, and sits on a lake. Very Quiet and peaceful. No sewer or dump but there is 30 amp power and water. Easy access but sites might be short for long motorhomes with toads. - Soos
