Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $43.00
The pull through sites were VERY close together but very long. We did not have to disconnect our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in order to park. However, for $43 a night, I expected more space between the sites. This is definitely NOT a destination park. The Cherokee Restaurant up the hill offers KOA Kampers a 10% discount on meals, so take your KOA receipt with you to the restaurant. We camped at Cherokee KOA Kampgrounds in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $31.00
This is an old KOA located in back of gas station complex, but otherwise easy to get in and out off I-40. There were really nice shade back-in sites, but we were not asked and those sites were not offered. It was an easy walk to restaurant for buffalo burgers. There were three bison to see, and a "jumping pillow" for family fun. We camped at Cherokee KOA Kampgrounds in a Motorhome.Undo
