Older style park, very quiet with lovely views of the Lake. About 5 miles off the Highway and centrally located to nearby towns and Monkey Island. The owners are just delightful and nothing is too much trouble. There is no laundry but an excellent Laundromat 1 mile down the road. We did not use the bathrooms. Gravel sites with grass. Good wi-fi. Ensure you pull up before entering the park so that you can be met by the owner and directed to your site. Only a few others were using the park while we were there. Stayed in 38ft motorhome with tow. We camped at Grand Country RV Park (50+ Park) in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $22.00
I stayed one week with a couple of little dogs. The staff was very helpful with EVERYTHING, whether it was RV repairs, local attractions, backing my trailer in or the hiking trail right next door. They have a beautiful view of Grand Lake, pull-through and back-in spaces (large), lots of beautiful grass and trees. It's not like other parks that feel like you're crammed into one big parking lot. The biggest asset for me was that it was QUIET, as well as peaceful and serene. My brother stopped by to visit and he liked it as well. When I'm back in that neck of the woods, I will definitely stay there again! We camped at Grand Country RV Park (50+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.
Tips for other Campers:
Harber Village and lots of antique stores and museums. Fishing and boating on Grand Lake.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. This is a very quiet, clean campground. We moved sites to get satellite TV, and they couldn't have been more helpful. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay near Monkey Island, this is it! We camped at Grand Country RV Park (50+ Park) in a Motorhome.
This is a quiet campground on the shore of Grand Lake in Afton, MO (about 12 miles by road from Grove). Internal roads are gravel. The park is clean and well maintained. There is a paved trail leading to the nearby state park. We camped at Grand Country RV Park (50+ Park) in a Motorhome.
The most wonderful thing about Grand Country RV Park was the hosts, the Sikorskis. You should meet them; they were gracious, kind, and helpful. Thanks to them, we were aware of local attractions that gave us numerous fun day trips. There was a beautiful nature trail in the state park just across the drive from where we parked our RV. The park was well maintained. We stayed for a month. We camped at Grand Country RV Park (50+ Park) in a Motorhome.
