Overpriced. Park in the middle of an industrial area. Construction on Council Rd made it noisy and hard to get to with the snarled traffic.
We picked this one based on a review that said you could not hear the freeway noise. It was very prevalent in our site, which was in the back of the park.
Dont plan on staying here if you want to stay hooked up unless you are a relatively small RV and don't need or want to go anywhere. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to Bricktown, which was cute: a smaller version of the San Antonio River Walk. It was about a 10 minute drive from the park.

There was also a nice looking bike and walking path on the outside perimeter of the park. Unfortunately it was fenced with the gate locked. No information was available in how to access it.

We only stay at this park because it's convenient to visit relatives that live near by. The park is run down and in need of some pepping up. My biggest complaint is that the water hookup is underground and very inconvenient to connect the hose.

Lot spacing is nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here two nights on our way West on I-40. The park is easily accessible from the highway and far enough away that there is minimal road noise. The interior roads are all gravel and the sites are also gravel. Our site was level. The interior roads are potholed and need some repair. The restrooms and showers are clean, but need some maintenance. The showers are average size and the changing area is very small. The sites have nice space between them, but the water hookup is below grade in an irrigation box and not easily accessible. We have our own Wi-Fi hot spot, so didn't use the parks. There is Wi-Fi available. The TV channel selection is with antenna, unless you have satellite. You get the regular network channels and PBS. We used the laundry, but it is closed at 6 PM when the office closes, so we had limited time in the late afternoon. I'll have to note that this is the only park we've stayed in that has a storm shelter, and showed us where it was. Then again, this is Oklahoma City and right in the middle of tornado alley! This is the second time we've stayed here, but might consider another park on our next trip. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Oklahoma City Bombing Site & Memorial are worth an extra days stay to go see. The Bricktown district is also worth touring.

Park is small and old. Park offers cable and Wi-Fi at a cheap monthly rate. However, 50 amp box continuously flips off. The owner insults you and often has a bad attitude, calling you names and obviously not grateful for the RVers who are paying his bills. The female manager also struggles with the same unprofessional attitude at times. There is many reasons why this park is cheaper on a monthly basis than other parks in the area. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We've been here for about 6 months now. The park owners have been friendly, helpful, and accommodating to any of our needs. It has lots of grass and trees to walk our pets in though goat heads are a slight issue. They've sprayed for weeds to help eliminate them. They keep the grass mowed and gravel on the driveway. It's right off I-40 and despite the traffic it's really quiet here. We've enjoyed our stay here so far without any issues. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Real close to Sam's, Walmart, an Outlet Mall and other stores within 2 miles.

We stayed just one night (that was enough). The park reviews (recent, July 2015) stated there were few long term residents, but that is not the case. Also, the water is in an underground water faucet with lots of spiders. The other residents were working on their vehicles and were loud into the night. For the dogs, careful of the goat head stickers in the grass, very bad. Yes, the spaces were good sized, but not a good value. We arrived after hours, the office was very nice about leaving an envelope taped to the door so we could self register. Overall-not the best park but not the worst we've stayed at. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A good location off I-40 behind the truck stop, so there is a bit of truck traffic, but it didn't bother our stay. Good for an overnight or a few days. There are some permanent/seasonal folks but sites are neat. Lots of grass for walking the dog. In a good location in OKC for shopping and sightseeing. Not a fancy park but it works and it's comfortable. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights. Site was level. Roads are gravel with lots of potholes. Manager checked us in and was very friendly and accommodating. We were led to our site. There is plenty of room between next sites. Very noisy park. There is a trucking center and service station just across the road and trucks come and go constantly. To get out of the park you have to wait for a long time as trucks are coming from both directions constantly. Easy access to I-40 once you get out of the park. About 1.5 miles from a Walmart. Didn't see any local grocery stores in the area. We were here two nights and that was plenty. Would be good for a one night stop. Very little airplane noise. Distant train noise. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice RV park. Gravel main and gravel loop roads with level grass and gravel sites. Large grass areas between each long site and scattered large trees. Park well maintained. Strong passport protected WiFi signal, FHU, good Verizon 4G, Direct satellite and TV antenna signals, cable TV, no pool, no rec center. Easy access off I-40. Staff friendly and helpful. Public park and GS discount. Would stay there again. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Site had gravel parking area with a 10-foot grassy area alongside. Very well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff, free ice. About half and half long term and short term campers. Recommend you ask for shaded space. Oklahoma sun is brutal in August. Very easy access to I-40 and OKC attractions. Would gladly stay here again. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy to find. Nice owners. Level sites. Stayed one night. Close to outlet stores. Lots of permanent residents, although no one home much. Glad we made reservations as it appears full. Shower house could use a little attention. BYOTP. Don't know why people cannot pick up after themselves. They do not allow adapting 50 amp down to 30. I forgot to ask why. Would definitely stay here again. Good Sam park. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As mentioned in previous reviews, this is an older park with many long term people. We were led to a nice pull through spot. WiFi worked well, the cable TV was a bit snowy. Park was clean and quite. We planned on staying 4 days but the weather was going to turn bad so we left a day early. Unfortunately, their policy is no refunds so keep that in mind. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wide, gravel interior roads with some potholes. Adequate width, level, gravel sites with adjacent concrete pads, some of which had broken corner(s). Utilities well maintained. Park mostly occupied by long-timers, but those sites are well kept. Quiet. Cable TV OK, internet acceptable near office; don't know about further away. Laundry was clean. It had new machines and was nice to work in. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay again. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this park one night while visiting relatives in Yukon. There is not a lot of choice on the southwest side of OKC. This is an older park and there appears to be some long-term residents, but their units weren't trashy or run-down. We had an escort to our site which was a nice pull-through with plenty of room to park our toad. As was mentioned in other reviews, there is no cable TV, but they are in the process of running the cables throughout the park (lots of trenches and mounds of dirt all over), and the manager assured me that by the next time we stay there it will be all done. We would definitely camp here again when in the area. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean. Did not have reservation, but they were happy to accommodate for a night. Spots were kind of tight, close together. Quiet. Looked like a lot of long term camps, but was very quiet. Would stay here again for a night or two. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
