We stayed in the new section and it was very nice and very clean. The site was level and concrete with a small grass area. The showers in the office building were new and nice but the office building closes at 6pm so if you want to use the showers after that you must use the ones in the older section. The wifi was slow and on Sunday we couldn't connect at all. We would stay here again. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice new park close to downtown OKC. The sites were nice wide, level with easy access to services. Roads were very easy to navigate. Highway noise was minimal, the park is et back far enough. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great find on our trip up north. New park, paved pads and fairly good wifi and cable. Trees are pretty small and sparsely planted...but they wil be providing some shade soon. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very tricky getting to the entrance as the I-35 exit is really close. Exit the ramp slowly and make your way across as soon as you can.

Pros; Have stayed here several times in the last 4 years, both before and after the tornado. Manager is very nice and professional. Owner is friendly. Both very helpful. Nice place, convenient to a lot of things, easy access to places I go in town. Interstate and trains very close, but not very intrusive at all. If you are bothered by distant noises, run a small fan to mask it. Paved with grassy areas is very nice. Prices have gone up a lot, but will probably still stay here when in the area, since I don't care about most resort type facilities. It is recovering well from the tornado. Cable tv is ok. Not a huge selection of channels, but I am not usually sitting around watching tv either, so plenty good. Cons; Best if use your own shower and facilities. Restrooms are not as clean as one would hope. I have watched the cleaning process and talked to others staying there. No thorough scrubbing, just spray some cleaning fluid around and quick wipe or let it dry. Too often there are reminders in the showers of previous use. Last couple of times I stayed there were no paper towels or hand soap in the restroom. Was told it is a cost saving measure. Blower dryer works like they all do, concentrates all the germs in the restroom and blast them onto freshly washed hands at high speed. At least if there were towels, you could wipe down the shower stalls seats before use, but toilet paper works. There just isn't enough staff to keep up with this size park and amount of traffic it has now. The manager does what she can, but it is too big a job for one person. Not sure what wifi people are using when they say the wifi is good, but it really is unusable most of the times I have been there, unless you want to stay up until after midnight when everyone else is asleep. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Museums all over in OKC! Train museum, 45th Infantry, Cowboy Hall of Fame. There is a bone museum a few miles away! OU down in Norman has a good natural history museum. Downtown has nice restaurants and a canal system with boat rides in summer! Lots of seasonal sports.

Just an overnight under a tornado watch. As Californians, we are not used to having storm shelters pointed out to us first thing, and Vicky, the weekend manager, was pretty rattled, but we got checked in and then hunkered down for a few hours until it was obvious that the storm had moved southeast (but we had plenty of storms with hail nearby, so even though we didn't get it in OKC, it was nearby). However, in her rattled state, we didn't get the information on things like wi-fi or door codes, etc. It really didn't matter that much and it was understandable, but then I had to call and get information which is normally just handed out. Also, and this is minor, the signage was pretty awful, so we ended up traveling around in the circle a second time to find our lane for parking our coach. We were in the older part of the park, the part that was hit in the 2015 tornado, so again, somewhat understandable. We had a pull through site, but it was not very level which meant we had to unhook our toad in the high winds to get it leveled. Not a fun time for my poor husband! But once we got all set up we stayed cozy and passed the night easily. There is a new section on the other side of a big storm/drainage ditch, and it looked very nice, and very filled up as I suspect most people who book ahead are requesting it. The only other thing of note was that Vicky mentioned that there had been some break-ins of cars and even coaches in some cases. Like around 5-6 am and complete crimes of opportunity, as the thieves were looking for unlocked vehicles. We're very diligent, but it does mean that the area, right off the interstate, is a bit iffier. It would only matter if we were staying longer, but for overnight, the park was fine and looks like it's getting better. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean park. Older section is a bit tight on spaces for getting in and out. No picnic table. About 6 feet of grass between spaces. Sewer connection is at far rear of the site. Very close to I-35, however, noise level once inside was OK. Newer section looks better, but it is not yet finished. Clubhouse under construction. Did not see any pool or spa area. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

"NEW SECTION REVIEW" This is the new breed of RV parks, all the sites are cookie cutter same with close spacing. The site is a concrete pad long enough for a 40'+ Motorhome and toad with a 15' grass strip between pads. Unfortunately the pads are not level and may require leveling blocks. Utilities are in the rear 1/3 of the site and work as expected except the water. The spigot has the weirdest backflow valve I have ever encountered, just have them show you how it works!! The cable is 33 SD channels, OTA was 55 channels, satellite is available from all sites. Roads are all paved with wide turns in this section, unlike the older section. It appears a new office/club house is under construction in this area. The WIFI was totally unusable, my computer could connect to network but never got internet access. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Construction is finished. The park is once more accessible from the I-35 east frontage road. There are 2 entrances off the frontage road, plus you can drive in from the south on Hattie Road. The staff is wonderful! Very helpful. Laundry is nice, also inexpensive. Park is very neat, manicured grass and concrete. Spaces are close but quite long. There was plenty of room for our 38' motorhome and Jeep. We would definitely stay ere again. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night after a long drive from Goodland,KS. Tried to follow signs on service road but ended up in the new area under construction. They are adding several new pads and what looks like a clubhouse or restrooms. Had to use GPS to find the entrance by going through a residential area. Park was clean, site was a little thin but got in OK, didn't even unhook because I just wanted a shower and sleep. Shower/restrooms are clean and great water pressure in the shower. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV Park was more than satisfactory for a short stay while visiting family and touring the Oklahoma State Capitol and Oklahoma City National Memorial. Although close to I-35, surprisingly quiet. There appears to be two section of the campground, with the newer one and new office under construction but near completion. When arriving along I-35 frontage Road, look for the large sign at the north entrance. Temporary office is the only building in the older section. When complete this will probably be a solid "8" or better. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are concrete pads, but are pad width plus 8 feet grassed. roads paved and in good repair. Park accessible from Hattie but NOT from the Interstate-35 service road. Pretty much recovered from the tornado that hit OKC. Shade is minimal due to the storm, but they are planting saplings. Cable and Wi-Fi very good. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again. We had a hard time just getting to the park because of the construction. Find Hattie St and go to the north end to get to the park. We stayed one night. There are no trees, no dirt, no gravel - just pavement and grass. All well kept. There is construction going on in the park and it will increase in size. We stayed one night. 40 foot diesel pusher pulling a toad. RV Park is nice, clean, and expanding. The park is easy on and off the highway with little if any street or road noise. Staff was courteous and welcoming. All hook ups worked fine. There was lot of space to walk about with the dog. We use our dish and antenna and have our own WIFI. We would stay here again. Great park with good people recovering wonderfully from a terrible tornado a year ago. We stay here every time we are in the area and were so pleased to see the owners are doing such an excellent job of rebuilding. The park has always been well managed, kept clean and well maintained. The tornado took out most of their trees so there is little-to-no shade if that is important to you. Even tho it is close to I-35, I've never had problem with road noise. There is a railroad line in the area (as is true of most of Oklahoma City) that sometimes bothers me enough that I use a sound machine at night. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bricktown, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, the OKC Museum of Art and the OKC National Memorial & Museum are linked by the city's magnificent response to the 1995 bombing. City leaders turned grief and anger into a visionary force that renovated the intercity - all while honoring their ordinary citizens who would have been just going about their everyday, wonderful lives. If you only have time for one: visit the National Memorial & Museum.
