We had a pull through but to leave the car hooked up you have to pull so far forward on the pad that you need a really long sewer hose. The sewer connection is at the back of the site. And the pads are designed with a spot at the front for your vehicle. We planned to unhook anyhow. Concrete pads with grass between. Cable worked fine. Wifi worked as well as any Park. Road noise didn't bother us. Gps will take you in the old entrance but it worked. Very convenient. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

2nd stay for us this year. Cable was not very good and the WiFi was very weak. It's grown in popularity since we were here in April..which is probably why WiFi so bad. Very clean, neat, and well organized. Very friendly checkin. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

While this is no tranquil, picturesque campground it is a clean, efficient, well-planned urban RV Park. The roads are good and the campsites, while not spacious, are big enough. Most sites are pull through spots that, again, are just long enough. There's nice grass between sites and excellent utility hookups. The park has a new office and meeting space. The restrooms are as nice as you'll find. We didn't hook up to the cable TV but the WiFi performed well except for an overnight issue that was resolved the next morning. The campground even has new underground tornado shelters. The campground has recently expanded and with that expansion a new entrance was added. Access is now right off of the I35 north feeder road. Just watch for the big campground sign. This is, of course, Oklahoma City so there is both traffic and the noise it brings. There is also the convenience of being close to most everything. The price reflects the location, but, really we've paid more. If you need a spot in OKC, this is it. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is centrally located off I 35 just South of I 40. Very neat and clean paved parking pads and roads nice grass between sites. Pull thrus accommodate rv and toad. Utilities worked fine cable was good wifi spotty. One of the nicest mid city parks I have ever stayed in. I would differently stay again. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. This time we were in the new, lower campground. The sites are concrete and very level. There is a grassy area between sites. Although close to I-35 this part of the park is down a little hill and so the road noise was barely noticeable. There is a new office, meeting rooms and laundry. Also, of note are the storm shelters. The interior roads of this new section was nicely planned and easy to navigate. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here overnight. Newer level concrete pads. Full hook ups and good Wifi and cell service. They had 3 storm shelters which was good to know. Right off I-35. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off I35. However don't use GPS as there is a new entrance to the park just after 48th street that goes right to the fairly new office. Long and level site so didn't have to unhook for a one night stay. They have ice in the office. No fancy amenities yet clean grassy park. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

First Impression: Appears new (because we learned that a tornado, 2 years ago, wiped out the CG). Very attractive presentation. Safety: no concerns. Access: Use exit 123A off I-35 and get to the east side of the interstate, then head north (frontage roads are one-way). Tall sign visible from interstate. Garmin GPS was accurate. Office: Friendly staff but receptionist was terse. Big office with meeting room but no store. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations not available. Good Sam discount. Facilities: No pool, spa, fitness room, or rec center. Clean laundry room. Restrooms/showers not inspected. No propane sales. No playground. No off-leash dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. Multiple storm shelters available but not for pets. No trees. Interior roads are asphalt with gentle turns and no overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly. No tent area, yurts, or cabins. Sites are all spacious, level, concrete, pull-through and back-in, grass between. Utilities at mid-rig with FHU-20/30/50; no meters. CAUTION: voltage level on my site was low which tripped my Progressive. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, about 2" above ground level. Some sites have patios and picnic tables. Ground fires not permitted. Good satellite views. Free cable TV (20+ channels). Free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone and 4G at 4 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, or local traffic, but some interstate noise. Bug Report (late July): ants, of course. Runners: CG roads good for running. Yoga: sites are plenty big enough for your mat. Conclusion: Score 6-Nice. We will return. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Moore, OK is a large city just south of Oklahoma City. You can find anything and everything that you want or need. Wal-mart is about 2 miles away (diesel at $2.049). Silver Sneakers at 10-Gym is about 5 miles south. The VA has an outpatient clinic about 6 miles north and a major VA hospital in Oklahoma City.

Two thumbs up to Roadrunner RV Park in Oklahoma City, OK. I have always been reluctant to stay in a large city because of noise level and difficulty maneuvering into tight places. NOT SO at Roadrunner. Large concrete pads with plenty of room to maneuver through the park. Virtually no road noise and the nicest managers ever. Easy on and easy off the highway, too. Several cable channels available. So happy we discovered this place. Perfect stop between San Antonio and Northern MN. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had stayed here just days before the tornado struck this park. They have done amazing things rebuilding! They have expanded the park, built a new office, installed more tornado shelters . . . wow! This is a great park to stay at and we will be back! We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not follow GPS or even the website entry directions, they are pre-tornado. Exit off I-35 at 51st Street Exit. Follow the east frontage road north to the new park sign and entry. (Don't turn at 48th Place or Hattie Road.) If you are parked in the older section, you can still exit out Hattie Road and 48th Place.

This is a typical RV resort with sites tightly packed together. The rating could be higher if the sites were level. Also the sewer connections are not located correctly for majority of RV's. I would have required 30' of hose to connect. Clean restrooms and showers. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.
