I called for reservations for Passport America, and the lady asked if I had a player's card. When I said I didn't, she said that with a player's card for the casino, there would be no fee. I got one, and when I went to the RV area, it was all concrete with water and electric at each site. The only thing that all the sites were not level front to back. It wasn't much, but you could see it. We had to go to the c-store to register. Everyone there was very friendly. The casino is one of the best I've ever been to. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Downstream RV Park at the Downstream Casino is amazing, it is located an easy on and off of I-44. There are 2 parks one by the Q Shop next to the roundabout which is the furthest away or the one next to the casino in the RV parking lot. The area is a concrete parking lot which is very nice and level. The spots look out across a nice green field. Electric is available year round and water is only available during the warmer months and the water is next to the utilities and only one for each 2 sites so it is basically every other site has water. There is a van that comes around to pick you up about every 15 minutes to take you to the casino, but it is a easy short walk. There are no attendants on duty so you have to go to the casino to register your spot. Go to the Q Club Desk in the casino and get a Q Club card and the attendant will explain the benefits and then go on to the gift shop to register your RV spot. The wifi was excellent and we had about 16 TV channels and very quiet, the only thing I heard was the birds. And of course I have left the best for last, it is all free, unbelievable but true. We would definitely stay here again when passing through. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Downstream RV park was obviously not designed by anyone who has ever spent a night in an RV. Most sites are extremely unlevel and impossible to get a class A level without several blocks under tires. It is unfortunate because it is obvious they spent a lot of money building it. The only sites that were even somewhat level were all blocked with reserved barriers but nobody ever arrived to use them. The entire area is covered in concrete with no green space at the sites. It is next to a very busy highway which is loud all hours of the day and night. My wife and I each signed up for players club cards so we were given 2 free nights. This would be okay for an overnight but not a destination I would come back to. Electric and water at each site and there is a dump station available at the park. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

We loved this little gem. It's true some of the sites were a bit uneven but we managed to level our bus just fine. We chose to stay at the area in front of the Q store and while it was closer to the road the noise did not bother us at all and the area was pretty with trees around the parking lot. It was clean and there was a dump site available but it can get busy if everyone leaves at the same time. The shuttle picked us up quickly and the driver gave us a tour around to look at the buffalo and we got to see a few babies in the field with their mamas. One even ran around his mother kicking up his heels and having fun. The casino is pretty and a smaller one and the staff were all very nice. We stayed at this park on the return trip too and ate at the nice restaurant but might try the buffet next time. The food was delicious but it is more expensive than most. However, the savings on the nightly rate certainly makes up for it. We actually didn't pay anything either time but would gladly pay the PA rate if needed. On the return trip we pulled into the lot closer to the casino. It was quite full and this is where the truckers park. It was MUCH noisier so we headed back to the other lot across from the Q store. We chose to stay here again instead of another park we had a reservation at because it was storming and flooding where we were going and we knew this park would be safer and it was. This will be a regular stop whenever we head in this direction. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You get a card with 7.00 on it to get you started at the slots. I much prefer the old days though when all you had to do was throw in some coins and pull a handle! We're not gamblers though but it was fun to give it a go. A few restaurants available.

The Downstream RV park is located right beside the Downstream Casino in Quapaw OK, just a little ways from Joplin Missouri. The RV park is basically a concrete parking lot, which is easily accessible by any size rig. The only hook-ups are electric at this time of year (water is available when the temperatures are warmer); there are no amenities such as showers or bathrooms. There is probably a dump station there, but we have never used it. The area where you park your RV is very illuminated and easy to navigate at night. Right after we arrived, the casino shuttle gentleman came around and told us the closing time of the gift shop in the casino, 7 pm, which is where you have to register to spend the night. You first must go into the parking lot (campground) , pick a lot, and then go into the front doors of the casino; go to the Q Club Desk on your right and get a Q Club card. After receiving your card, you proceed to the gift shop and tell them your lot number, and then you're all set. Each adult in your party can get a card, and each card is good for one free night of camping. Pets are welcome. We have stayed at the Downstream RV Park three different times and have always been very pleased with our camping experience there. We would highly recommend it to others. It is an easy get off-get on to Interstate 44. Give it a try; can't be beat for free camping! We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The casino is just off HWY44. We camped overnight at the casino RV and semi-truck overnight area which was closest to the casino. We could walk to the casino (maybe the same distance as a couple of city blocks), but the shuttle came around every 15 min or so. It was a concrete parking lot with wifi and water and electricity hookups. There is another RV parking lot area at the entrance to the road into the casino.

It was fine for overnighting, but don't park near the semi-trucks as their engines go all night long. Otherwise, it was very quiet. There is a dump station available. Security patrols the area on a regular basis and it is very well lit. Very well!

To get your free overnight stay, park in an empty site, note its number, then go to the Q Club in the very nice but smoke-filled casino, register and get your player's card, then take it to the gift shop and tell them your site number and you are good to go. Gambling is optional. Very nice and helpful staff everywhere. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was the first time here so we got a night free with the players card. Clean, level RV parking area. Water and 50 amp service. Shuttle to the casino. The buffet was TERRIBLE. Worst we have ever had at any casino. If we stay here again, we will eat in our RV. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Free rate is for each new Player's Club member, so even though we only stayed one night, we could have stayed two nights free. We stayed in the new campground - there are two sections: the first section is very sloped, the second section is quite level. Both sections are brand new, concrete, 50-amp. The casino is a car/shuttle-bus ride away. We had a great buffet dinner. We'd definitely stay here again, and if the weather is cool, we'd probably dry-camp in the new truck parking section. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here on our way to Table Rock Lake. If you have never stayed, you can go into the casino and get a players card, then go over to the gas station/convenience store and get a free nights stay. They have a courtesy shuttle to the casino, ask for the phone number when you checkin at the gas station, call them and they will take you to the casino. Same on the way back. It was basically a paved parking lot with water and electric hookups. No shade, very hot in the summer. But that was OK, we drove in, hooked up the air and went to the casino to give the RV a chance to cool off. Worked perfectly for a one night stay, passing through. But don't plan on staying long term if you want a nice shady spot. We didn't use the bath house, so can't say about how that was. It would have been nice to be able to get your players card at the gas station. Was kind of a pain to drive over to the casino, park way out in the parking lot so not to be in anyone's way, then walk into the casino to get players card, then drive back over to the gas station. But it was doable, just inconvenient. You are also allowed to use the casino pool if you stay at the RV park, just go to the hotel registration desk and they will give you a key card to get into the pool area, the pool area was very nice. There is a dump station if you need it. We didn't stay long enough so we didn't worry about using it. They have free wifi, make sure you ask for it when you checkin. The staff at the gas station were very friendly and helpful. No picnic tables or grills. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Previous reviews have summed up this place nicely. We stayed in the newer section near the convenient store. Signing up for the Q card was not a problem, even with our arrival being 5:00 AM. A walk to the rear of the casino, and about 2 minutes spent at the desk, and I had the card. Then drove back over to the convenient store, and they had my name written down in the book quickly and we were free to pick a site. The cost for nights "after the free night(s)" is now $35. We stayed just the one free night, and appreciated it greatly. The park has a very safe feel to it, and we didn't find the noise to be too bad at all. The park had only a few RVs in it during our time there. The spots over by the casino were much more full. This is a great place to stop for the night, it beats running the generator in a Walmart lot for sure. We made sure to gas up at the store, and went and got something to eat in the casino (and left $20 behind in the slot machines) as a way to say thanks for the free night stay. We plan to return fairly often, as this location is right on our most frequently traveled route. Water pressure was 100 psi, and both the water and electricity were well placed and easy to hook up to. The sites are very wide, and plenty long. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy interstate access. Just one BIG parking lot with several separated areas. No restrooms, showers, or sewer hookup, only electric and water at site (no water until warm weather) but dump station good. If you are self contained good place. Shuttle bus available, register at gas station across road. First night free w/ player's club membership. Noisy from late-night trucks and motorcycles, but you can't bear the price. Just can't figure out why they obviously spent a lot of money on concrete but didn't bother to keep a lot of the sites level! Great for a stopover. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great one night stop. Good access from the Interstate. It is a concrete parking lot. It is level with electric & water. There is a dump station. This campground is free if you get a Players Card. This card also gets you a discount on the buffet. There is a lot of noise from the trucks that also spend the night here. But at this price, I can't complain. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
