How can anybody not give this park 10 stars. It's clean, FREE, and has water and electric. Did I mention it's FREE? They also have two pools and two hot tubs that you can use. Just show your receipt at the desk of the hotel and they will give you a pass. The buffet is small but the food is very good. They have a deal at the buffet. Dinner is about $17 but, for $25, you can eat all day. The RV park is just a parking lot, with running water and 50 amp electric service. Do I have to remind you that it's FREE?! We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park your RV then go to the casino and get a players card. Then check into the park at the gas station. Pay for the buffet for the whole day. It's a good deal

One thing to understand about this place: It is in 3 states and the casino is in Oklahoma. There are 2 RV parks with water and electric. One is close to the Casino and in Oklahoma and also shares the lot with over the road trucks. It has water and 20, 30, 50 amp power. I don't know if they have a dump station. The other is across the street from the "O" Store in Missouri next to the round about (east side of the road). This park has the most RV sites with water and electric. It is a fully paved concrete lot with zero shade. They have a dump station on the way out here. No showers or bathrooms available. Roads paved and easy. Sites: Note the 1st 4 rows are steeply graded for water flow and our coach wouldn't level without blocks. We drove up the grade for a couple of rows and had no problems. Power 20/30/50 amp with water. Grab your site first, then go to the Casino and get your Q cards, go loose some money and then check in at the Q Store. We got 2 night free for our two Q cards. You can leave and return 24 hrs later and stay another 2 nights. They have free internet that's pretty fast. Verizon phone and Mifi work well. This is one of the best camping deals I've run across. We'll stay here again if we're in the area. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great campground at a casino for a few nights stay. Have two Q cards, and stayed 4 nights free. All concrete, Electric and water. Sewer dump only. Some noise from I-44, but didn't bother us. All open camping, no trees, pick your preferred spot and sign in at Q Store. We did some gambling and ate at casino. Will stay again as we pass through this area often. Would have rated higher if sewer was available at site. Grounds were clean and well maintained, surrounding area was well maintained as well. Have an empty gray and black tank before arrival. Site 31. Millions spent on this paved RV park. Tremendous value with a simple casino card zero $. We have never used the casino to gamble but the buffett and the Q Store have been great. 50 amp electric and water when not freezing -no running water in the winter and dump station only But who could complain for the price. This would be an 8 park for 35$ But a 10 all things considered. Its a no brainer if you are traveling I 44. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Visit Sandstone Gardens- nothing like it anywhere. Sams in Joplin is a great resupply stop with Olive Garden, Steak and Shake and Cheddars right next door. Joplin is a good town with solid folks after a tornado tragedy. Wave!

Water was off for the winter. They wouldn't remove the lock for us to fill. Told us to use the dump station faucet. We had our slides out so we just filled jugs. A hot shower would have been nice. 2 free nights with player cards. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rated a 10 for the value. Its a concrete parking lot with W/E hookups. Dumpstation available. Water was off for the winter months. We stayed in both lots. One is in Kansas, the other is over the state line in Missouri. The one closer to the casino in KS is alongside where the trucks also park, so it is a bit louder. The one over on the MO side is nice and quiet. Both have good hookups and wifi available. We also had decent Verizon data signal. To get the 1 night free, go into the casino to the Q-club desk and sign up (free) as a Q-club member. Then go into either the gift shop (if on the KS side) or into the Q-store (gas station) for the MO side. All 21+ in your group can sign up as a member and check-in for 1 free night! We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Previous posts are pretty much spot on. However there is a dump-station near the dumpster on the way out. I give it a 10 because of value and the casino treats everyone very well. Site surface was a concrete pad and lots have sunny/open exposures. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Can't beat free! Because we had a gamer casino card the night was free! Water and electric at all sites with a dump on the way out. Some sites are more level than others but all are concrete and super clean. Next to the highway but we didn't notice much noise from it. The Q-STORE is across the street and just great, they have everything and is so clean! There's another smaller park right next to the casino but it didn't look as good. The WiFi at night was pretty bad but in the morning it was great! Free shuttle to the casino and back. We had a nice dinner and drinks and had some fun gambling a little. Felt very safe. Nice stop we'll be back. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There are 2 "parks" at the casino. We stayed in the one near the casino and walkable even though there is a shuttle every 10-15 minutes. This one tends to have truckers overnighting nearby, but we didn't hear them as long as you park away from their parking area. The other "park" is closer to the freeway by the C store. Our site sloped rear to front but we did get level. The trick is to go to the casino guest services, get a player card the take it to the gift shop which gives you one free night. There is power at each site with water at every other site (no dump station), so it's best to arrive early since it's first come first served. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

I called for reservations for Passport America, and the lady asked if I had a player's card. When I said I didn't, she said that with a player's card for the casino, there would be no fee. I got one, and when I went to the RV area, it was all concrete with water and electric at each site. The only thing that all the sites were not level front to back. It wasn't much, but you could see it. We had to go to the c-store to register. Everyone there was very friendly. The casino is one of the best I've ever been to. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Downstream RV Park at the Downstream Casino is amazing, it is located an easy on and off of I-44. There are 2 parks one by the Q Shop next to the roundabout which is the furthest away or the one next to the casino in the RV parking lot. The area is a concrete parking lot which is very nice and level. The spots look out across a nice green field. Electric is available year round and water is only available during the warmer months and the water is next to the utilities and only one for each 2 sites so it is basically every other site has water. There is a van that comes around to pick you up about every 15 minutes to take you to the casino, but it is a easy short walk. There are no attendants on duty so you have to go to the casino to register your spot. Go to the Q Club Desk in the casino and get a Q Club card and the attendant will explain the benefits and then go on to the gift shop to register your RV spot. The wifi was excellent and we had about 16 TV channels and very quiet, the only thing I heard was the birds. And of course I have left the best for last, it is all free, unbelievable but true. We would definitely stay here again when passing through. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this little gem. It's true some of the sites were a bit uneven but we managed to level our bus just fine. We chose to stay at the area in front of the Q store and while it was closer to the road the noise did not bother us at all and the area was pretty with trees around the parking lot. It was clean and there was a dump site available but it can get busy if everyone leaves at the same time. The shuttle picked us up quickly and the driver gave us a tour around to look at the buffalo and we got to see a few babies in the field with their mamas. One even ran around his mother kicking up his heels and having fun. The casino is pretty and a smaller one and the staff were all very nice. We stayed at this park on the return trip too and ate at the nice restaurant but might try the buffet next time. The food was delicious but it is more expensive than most. However, the savings on the nightly rate certainly makes up for it. We actually didn't pay anything either time but would gladly pay the PA rate if needed. On the return trip we pulled into the lot closer to the casino. It was quite full and this is where the truckers park. It was MUCH noisier so we headed back to the other lot across from the Q store. We chose to stay here again instead of another park we had a reservation at because it was storming and flooding where we were going and we knew this park would be safer and it was. This will be a regular stop whenever we head in this direction. We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Motorhome.

You get a card with 7.00 on it to get you started at the slots. I much prefer the old days though when all you had to do was throw in some coins and pull a handle! We're not gamblers though but it was fun to give it a go. A few restaurants available.

The Downstream RV park was obviously not designed by anyone who has ever spent a night in an RV. Most sites are extremely unlevel and impossible to get a class A level without several blocks under tires. It is unfortunate because it is obvious they spent a lot of money building it. The only sites that were even somewhat level were all blocked with reserved barriers but nobody ever arrived to use them. The entire area is covered in concrete with no green space at the sites. It is next to a very busy highway which is loud all hours of the day and night. My wife and I each signed up for players club cards so we were given 2 free nights. This would be okay for an overnight but not a destination I would come back to. Electric and water at each site and there is a dump station available at the park. The Downstream RV park is located right beside the Downstream Casino in Quapaw OK, just a little ways from Joplin Missouri. The RV park is basically a concrete parking lot, which is easily accessible by any size rig. The only hook-ups are electric at this time of year (water is available when the temperatures are warmer); there are no amenities such as showers or bathrooms. There is probably a dump station there, but we have never used it. The area where you park your RV is very illuminated and easy to navigate at night. Right after we arrived, the casino shuttle gentleman came around and told us the closing time of the gift shop in the casino, 7 pm, which is where you have to register to spend the night. You first must go into the parking lot (campground) , pick a lot, and then go into the front doors of the casino; go to the Q Club Desk on your right and get a Q Club card. After receiving your card, you proceed to the gift shop and tell them your lot number, and then you're all set. Each adult in your party can get a card, and each card is good for one free night of camping. Pets are welcome. We have stayed at the Downstream RV Park three different times and have always been very pleased with our camping experience there. We would highly recommend it to others. It is an easy get off-get on to Interstate 44. Give it a try; can't be beat for free camping! We camped at Downstream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
