This park is just off I-40 and fairly easy to get to. The owners are very friendly. The town is small with just a Walmart and lots of fast food restaurants. The sites are shady, long and level, but some of the sites have very little grass, so if it rains you could be in the mud. The sites are close together. Nice pool and playground, I wasn't crazy about the dog park and no potty bags. Some historical sites, but that was all. No Auldi or CrackerBarrel anywhere close. Would stay here again, but only for a few nights. The water was good so we filled our tank. We camped in a 38ft Motorhome with tow. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

This is an immaculate facility and campground. Sites were level, but neighbor are fairly close. Best feature was how quiet it was even being within 3/4 mile of I-40. All sites are gravel and easy to get in and out of. Wide entry and adequate driveways for 43 bus and tow vehicle. The grounds are very well maintained. Lots of shade. Very nice pool area. Staff was friendly and efficient. Did not try the wifi. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

The owners are creating a KOA location that is noticeably better than the average KOA. They have given special attention to owners of big RV's and 5th wheelers to provide sites that are large and comfortable. Good water pressure and WiFi. Cable TV was OK - but not the best picture. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

This is one of the few full service RV parks on that section of I-40. Everything at the park is clean and well organized. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. All the sites have some trees and shade, necessary in the Oklahoma summers. If satellites do not connect, cable is available. The WiFi is slow when the park is full. I would recommend this RV park to others and stay there again. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

I thought this was a great place to swim and stay the night, but it is too far away to be considered a Fort Smith RV Park.

Great stop on a hot day! Easy to find from highway. We were given a shady spot across from the clean, nice sized pool. Our site was level. We were also given a lunch/ dinner menu. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival we needed propane. The owner dropped what he was doing and filled our tank promptly (their tank is an easy access facility). The bathrooms have just been renovated and are very nice. The park has high shade but we had satellite access. All hookups were good, and site level. Cable was adequate. Area has several good restaurants if you want a night out. Nice dog run and a nice pool area. We will stay here again on our next trip through. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here in the past and that is why we returned. Very friendly owners past and present; however, the present owners have the policy that if you want to reserve a site they insist on a credit card to hold it. That I have no problem with; HOWEVER, their policy is if you call and cancel the reservation, they still charge your credit card no matter what the reason is. It is the full nite charge not just $10.00. They said it didn't make any difference they were in the business to make money and for every empty site they were losing money! The overall rating for the park is still excellent, clean, and they now have a dog park. Did not use any of the facilities since we were there just over nite. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice small campground very near I-40 about a mile. Watch for the sign on the left side of road for right turn on a narrow street, looks like your turning in to the Car dealership . Lovely young couple doing a great job with customer service. Pull through sites, good WiFi & Cable. Fenced doggie park, small hike path. Fishing pond. Very dusty but gravel was being delivered while we there. Windy Oklahoma. Tornado Alley storms one night very scary since I forgot to ask if there was a shelter. Will definitely return. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is run by some very nice folks. Both the cable TV and internet worked well. I bought an ice cream bar in the office and they only charged .89 which would have been $3.50 in any other RV park. Sites were level and easy in and out. The men's bathroom was the nicest and cleanest of any I've experienced in an RV park or campground. I will stay here again. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, clean, neat, helpful staff. Nice trees, has a small fishing pond. Quiet, especially considering that it is relatively close to the Interstate. Fenced dog park. Level site; sites are somewhat close together, but certainly okay. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

We stopped for the night passing through on our way home. The owners were very nice and helpful. They are fairly new owners and are working to spruce it up. They even offer some food items that they will cook and deliver to your camper. We didn't use this service, but appreciated having that option. This park isn't the usual KOA. It was a wooded area with plenty of space between sites. They pick up your trash at your site. We would definitely stay here again. It was a little high for us not using any of the amenities, but very convenient to the interstate without the road noise. It was and had been raining, so it was somewhat muddy. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites were a little close but we're staggered enough to allow a little privacy. Site was level but electric hookup was kind of far that we had to position the camper just right to reach the connection.

Campground was well maintained and was located only a mile from I-40, far enough away to not hear any traffic.

We would stay again if coming to the area. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Sequoyah's Cabin is a great place to visit. Make sure you talk to the person running the place. He has a wealth of knowledge and was very willing to share.

Very level gravel sites with excellent cable and Wi-Fi. Owners are trying hard to make improvements. Very easy check in and the restrooms and showers was very clean. I will highly recommend this campground but beware that from 6 A.M. till we left be ready for the train whistle blowing. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is clean. Spaces are under the trees. Could not get a satellite signal and cable was fuzzy. Entering and exiting were easy. No road noise. Staff was pleasant. Nice pool. Some items in their store. Offer pizza brought to your site. Laundry was clean. 4 washers and 4 dryers. $1.50 to wash and $.25 for 10 minutes to dry.
