Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $20.00
Park is about half permanent and half short-term. Part of the park is along a shaded creek and the other around a small pond. Spaces are wide and have a covered picnic table. Firewood for the fire ring was supplied.
Full hook-ups for less than the water/elec only National Rec Area down the road. Easy access to Sulphur and its attractions. The folks running the place are super friendly and easy to deal with. We camped at Buckhorn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
We found this campground by accident while searching for something more suitable for staying in area for family reunion. The host was excellent, services excellent, they even supplied wood for the fire ring. Several sites are right next to a small stream and dam with bubbling water and cool shade. Lovely, quiet, friendly. Since it is a newer campground they still do not have shower facilities or bath facilities, you must bring your own. I will stay there again in a heartbeat - beats the others hands down. We camped at Buckhorn RV Park in a Motorhome.
