Park is dated but clean and well kept. We had a pull through site but had to drive thru an unoccupied site to get to it. I guess they leave that site open to provide access to the pull through sites. Sites are very close with short cedar partitions on both sides. No room to walk between the partition and the RV when the slides were out. No picnic table and no room for one. Worked for us because we were passing through and only staying one night. Didn't plan to unhook the Jeep to go anywhere anyhow. Plenty of grassy areas for the dog. Cable worked ok. Didn't try the internet. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is "gently" dated but very clean and conveniently located. Plenty of long term campers that seem to get the best (shaded) sites. Short term sights are a bit narrow with dog-eared cedar partitions between sites. Good for privacy but in order to have a usable patio, we had to run road side slide 1/2 way in to access basement storage. Water pressure is insane! Bring a pressure regulator. Before using ours the pressure pushed through the toilet valve and slowly filled the bowl. We caught it just in time. Also the water supply is in a pit for freeze protection and the valve position made it necessary to use a 45deg. adaptor to hook up the hose. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is lots of grass area to walk the dogs. The office and other facilities are cat friendly. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in our 41 foot Fifth wheeler. Nice park, though a bit packed. It has a nice walking area for dogs along the stream with a dog park also there. I heard that it was in a bad part of Tulsa, but we had no issues nor noticed any problems staying there. They had a large area for washing clothes, with a pool table and an area to relax. When arriving you are escorted to the lot and assisted in getting parked safely. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't let the picture from the park's website fool you... This is a trailer park and every site in our row was packed like sardines. No way you could open up your awning if you wanted to. All sites are separated by wooden fences, which is sorta nice if you had space to sit outside, but you don't. However, for an overnight, it is a safe and clean location. The showers are great, the laundry room is the best and lowest prices we've seen since Louisiana. Workers are polite and responsive. We had an issue in our row, our electrical reader showed "reverse polarity" on all sites of the row. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The park is easily accessible from I-244 but not in the best part of the city. About half the businesses are vacant and closed down in the area. Activities and restaurants are limited in that area. Park is near the Tulsa international airport but we did not hear the commercial airlines. What we heard were military jets and we're not sure why. The park appears to be the primary residence for about 80% of the 226 sites. The bathroom and shower facilities and laundry were great. Also, just as you come into the park there are two electric boxes right on the roadway beside the office so that if you come in after hours you can plug in your rig and have air-conditioning for the night. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a massive flea market right on Admiral near Mingo RV park. Further down Admiral west is a Walmart and a Walgreens and a Taco Bell. Other than that you have to travel 3 or 4 miles for more choices. If you are a Route 66 fan, there is a section through Tulsa. We enjoyed the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art. We took pictures under Tulsa's 75' Golden Driller statue.

This park has long term residents in one area and a short term stay in another. Cable, phone, wifi, and sewer all at site. There is a playground next to reservoir. The office has laundry facilities and bathroom with showers as well as a pool table with couches and books. The workers are all very kind and the set up is efficent. Everyone is squished on, but with fences to give some privacy. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night while traveling to home. Staff were helpful getting us into site. Park like setting. Large sites. Dirt and gravel, no patio or picnic table. Laundry is exceptional! Very good lighting at night for walking a dog. These 2 things matter a lot to me, so I was happy. Mostly fenced, feels secure for the most part. Although I saw some guy going through a dumpster near the front?? We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, big park. Easy to navigate in 41' class A with toad. Nice pull through site. Looks to be mostly full timers staying here. Staff is very friendly. Highway noise and morning jets flying over was very annoying. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is 90% permanents. It is very well maintained. The laundry room is one of the best we've seen, and inexpensive. There are chainsaw carvings throughout the park, very nice! The wifi is one of the best we've seen - wonderful! We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV park with paved roads with level grass and concrete pad sites. Small grass areas between each site and tall wood privacy fence between sites and scattered large trees. No tent camping, no table and no fire pit. Park well maintained. Strong passport protected wi-fi signal thru Tengointernet, FHU, good Verizon 4G, direct satellite and tv antenna signals, good cable tv, no pool. Coffee and donuts in office in morning. Mostly permanent RVs. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very big park with many permanent or long term RV's. Seemed to be lots of loud diesel pickups late at night (after 11 pm and all night). Probably just didn't notice the noise during the day. Sites are very close together. No room to sit outside. Wifi was very slow, but cable tv was great. I would stay there again. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Enjoyed this place - the office and bath areas are all in rustic wood. Very nice. We were guided to our site, which was a pull through. Seems to be a lot of permanent residents but they were in a different area of the park. Downtown area, yet it was quiet. Easy on and easy off I-244/US 412 freeways but you'd best check out the map prior to arriving, or leaving too. Simple to access but still it could be easy to make an incorrect turn and get lost. Great showers! Free coffee and doughnuts. Nice staff. I would seek out this place again if in the area. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park was clean and well-maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. This park is mostly long-term/permanent, but there is a section of pull-through sites for short-term stays. Full hook-ups + basic cable. All services worked well. This is not a vacation resort, but is a great value if you have plans to be away from your site all day (business/event/site-seeing). A good location for just about anywhere in Tulsa or Owasso. It is near the airport, but truthfully, the airplanes were not anywhere near as noisy or as frequent as the thunder the weekend we stayed. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is full of workers, but is kept quite neat and most rigs are in reasonably good condition. We felt safe and comfortable. Very quiet except for a little highway noise. Many sites are quite tight, but we were escorted around to pick what we thought would be ok for our length, satellite, etc. This is definitely not a "destination park", but is just fine for visiting Tulsa and Route 66 attractions. Easy highway access, reasonably good internet. We would stay here again. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Motorhome.
