Just stop over one night. Easy access. Lead to a pull through. It was a little short and we agreed we'd pull ahead to another which was better. Level site, but hook ups located at rear of site which is always a challenge for pull throughs. We had all the extensions with us that we needed. Hook ups worked fine. Just off main road, but road noise not a problem probably due to fact that the CG is located in a "hollow" a bit below the road. We'd stay again for an overnight. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is located right on I44 and near Hwy 75. This is an older park, mostly pull-throughs. Our site was barely long enough for pickup and hooked up camper. All the connections are at the back of the site so I had to get out an extra water hose and add a sewer hose connection. The water connect is underground. I had to get down on my knees to connect the water hose. The owners are friendly and accomodating. I asked about parking and they directed me to some nearby sites that they didn't expect to use and told me that any of them are fine. They also offered to help me hook up the water if I was having trouble getting to the spigot. Yes, you can hear the traffic, but when you pick an RV park beside an interstate you can't expect much else. The restrooms are older. When we were there they needed cleaning, but it looked like the need was the result of recent activity. Our Verizon signal was good, campground WiFi worked fine, and I had no problem getting a satellite TV signal. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy to get into from the highway and the office person was very helpful. You are within a couple of hundred feet from the road and traffic noise is there, but with windows closed, not noticeable. Strange the mens room had no paper towels nor soap, but it was clean for being old. Roads are asphalt and all sites are concrete and level. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lot of road construction that has the appearance that it will be many years before finished. Many of the RV parks in this area are having the parks fill up with workers so finding a site could be difficult so calling ahead to insure they have a space would be helpful.

Overall Rating:

This park is awful in every aspect! Do not stay here! The park sits lower down in a valley below the highway so there is really loud road noise. Also it is difficult to get into the park because of the narrow road and turn. The roads are extremely narrow for big rigs in the park and it makes it worse because people's sites aren't long enough and they park in the road. The water is in a box below the ground, which is inconvenient itself but making it worse, ours was filled with water. There are no refunds or we would have gladly left. Do yourself a favor and drive on by this old park. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We're here for 2 nites to visit friends in the area and for that reason the campground is perfect. Close to city and friends, full hookups, cement pad with grass spacing between. Full sun, nice personnel. Negative is road noise from highway but it's November and windows will be closed. Would definitely use again when in area. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overnight stay, convenient on and off the interstate. Space wasn't long enough for tow vehicle and our 42' fifth wheel, but the campground allowed us to park in an empty site right in front of us. Staff was nice. Bath house was clean. I thought it odd that the toilet paper was chained so it couldn't be taken, but since the paper towels weren't chained down, there weren't any, then it made sense. Most sites seemed to be filled with long time guests, but we'd probably stay again if driving through. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in Texas when the hurricane was coming so we took a left out of Amarillo and ended up in Tulsa, unannounced. We stayed 2 nights and visited the area. This is a clean little park. Lady at check in was nice. Site was level. No dog park but plenty of space at the end of the campground to let them run. Ran both A/C's so traffic noise was minimal. This is a no frill CG good for a home base when visiting Tulsa. Good water pressure, picked up a bunch of antenna TV stations. No shade. Sites are kind of close, but not crowded. Easy in and out. Nice place to set up for a few days. A few long term RV's but sites were clean. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and pleasant office staff. Campground is clean and an excellent location for an overnight visit. Concrete pad, easy pull-through for a 42' 5th wheel. We were allowed to park our vehicle in an empty space next to our rv. Good internet connection and reception. Would stay there again. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped just for an overnight, loved finding a convenient park with concrete pads. Sites are pretty close together and even the pull-throughs aren't long enough for a 44' motorhome towing. But the very friendly owner was very accommodating when we needed to find parking for our tow vehicle and allowed us to use another close-by space for it at no additional charge. Disappointed that there was no patio table or chairs at the site, but otherwise it was well-maintained and satisfactory. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

First Impression: Good roadside appearance. Definitely just an "overnighter" CG. Safety: Seems okay but neighborhood looks questionable. CG is not gated or fenced. Access: Exit 224 off I-44 towards US-75 south but don't get on highway. Look for signs to Union Avenue. CG is on south side of I-44. Garmin GPS was accurate. Union Avenue is in dismal condition. Office: Friendly attendant. No store. VISA and MC accepted. Online reservations NOT available. No price discounts. Facilities: No pool, spa, fitness room, or rec center. Large, clean laundry room. Slightly dated but clean restrooms/showers, no A/C, no vents in showers (score "B"). Propane sold by the tank (30# tank, $30); coaches by the gallon (drive up; not delivered to your site). No playground. No off-leash dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. No trees. Interior roads are asphalt with acceptable turns and no overhead obstacles. Big rig and large coach friendly but tows/toads need to disconnect. No tent area, yurts, or cabins. Sites are close but not slide-to-slide, level, concrete, pull-through and back-in, grass between. Utilities at rear of site with FHU-20/30/50; no meters. Good water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, about 5" above ground level. Concrete patios. No picnic tables. Open fires not permitted. Good satellite views. No cable TV. OTA TV found 66 channels with good reception. Free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone and 4G at 5 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: No railroad or aircraft noise but local traffic and interstate noise is notable. Bug Report (mid July): no insect issues. Runners: CG roads good for running. Yoga: patios are big enough for your mat. Conclusion: Score 6-Nice. A good CG for an overnight. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Even though they tout they are big rig friendly they are not. We asked if they had pullthroughs and they do but the problem is we had to unhook in order to connect to the services which were at the rear end of the parking pad. The water bibb is in a pit in the ground which is a pain the old knees to get to. Had to use an extension to our sewer hose as well. Even parking to the rear we still filled the entire space with our 43' coach. We chose this campground for it's proximity to the highway and it is close. We won't stay again mostly because of the short parking pads. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Motorhome.

Okay park right off I-44. Concrete pull thru and back in full hook up 30/50amp sites. Small concrete patios also. Wifi does not work, hence the lower rating. They could fix this and should. Nice people and clean. Sites are rather short and hook ups are in the back. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a family owned park and the owners, as well as those that help them are WONDERFUL. The park is easy to reach and quite convenient to a lot of things in the area. The park is an older park but everything is super clean - which they take very seriously. The laundry room has a/c and again is super clean. There is no pool; otherwise I would have given it a 10.

We were in Tulsa (from MD) to trade in our TT for a 5th wheel at Bob Hurly RV and the park was really helpful. We ended up getting there a day early and they happily accommodated. The next day we did the swap over and they allowed us to use the slot beside our camper to do so - this was so much better than trying to do it at the dealership! We needed to extend our stay by a day and again they were able to accommodate. They have a number of live-ins there but everyone is so nice and the park is so clean you wouldn't really know. We had the chance to talk to the owners several times and it was like we've known them for years - how cool is that! Ask the office about things to do and for directions; we found their directions were better than the GPS. While this is a no frills park it is very clean, convenient and the people are top notch. We will stay here again - almost can't wait. We camped at Warrior RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
