We were there during the fall leaves changing colors and it was beautiful! The roads were paved as well as the pad. Pad was large and spacious with room for 40 ft DP and toad. Camphost were nice and friendly and helpful. Pad was level and had a great view of the lake. The park was clean and well kept. We will be back in the spring to stay again. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 3 nights to rest up during big road trip. Fun to watch the family lake festivities before July 4th holiday. Will stay again for rest between Springfield MO and Dallas TX. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is clean and well maintained. The site had water and 30/50 amp service with a level concrete pad and asphalt drive. The view of the lake is nice and we enjoy the campground. Cell service for both AT&T and Verizon is good. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an older Corps of Engineers campground. Most sites are close together, which is not to our liking. Some of the turns within the campground are a little tight, which may be a problem for larger rigs. Rate reflects our Senior Pass Discount. There are several Corps parks in the area and next time we would try another one. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed in site 102. It was very difficult to get into; we had to back down long driveway before angling off into that site. If they would trim the trees, it would be very easy to pull through. The site was asphalt and not level, and there was a sharp drop off on the side with the picnic spot.

The site was supposed to be water and electric, but there was no water. By the time we got there, our family was there to eat dinner with us, and we didn't have time to really search for the water faucet. So we used the water from the next site and filled our holding tank. By the time our family left and we searched for the non-existing water faucet, it was after hours. Luckily, we just booked one night.

The worst thing is that there were ticks everywhere. We got them just walking from the car to the trailer, and more the next morning unhooking. I don't think we even left the pavement that morning.

I would not recommend this campground. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for our trip of the year. Was very quiet with less than half the sites used, even on the weekend. Great views of the lake and nice discount per nite stayed. Close to Wagoner and Choteau is just 25 miles north of Wagoner. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Bakers Fish house is about 12 miles south of Wagoner and doesn't look like much, but enjoy enough to go every time I'm in the area.

The campsite is on Fort Gibson Lake. Some of the sights have been redone this year and are level. Other sites are old and very unlevel. This place is OK, but they should have redone all the sites. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a Corp of Engineers park. It is a little dated. HOWEVER the park is scheduled for a complete redo at the end of the 2009 camping season. It is very accessible from Tulsa and The Muskogee Turnpike. My wife and I parked for nearly a week as a little get-away in our new 5th Wheel and I easily drove into my Tulsa office each workday. We will stay here again and look forward to the renewed park next year. We camped at Taylors Ferry COE in a Fifth Wheel.
