What a find! We have camped in many RV Parks but, so far, this is THE best one we've stayed at. Park is under a year old and everything is still new including the trees which are still growing. All sites are level concrete with lush grass on each side with grill/fire pit and picnic table. Sites are NOT right on top of each other. Roads are wide enough to maneuver around without hassle. If we're ever in this area again, Wanderlust Crossings is the only place we would consider. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were tired after a long (and very windy) drive so did not explore the area - did note that Weatherford does have a Walmart for those last minute groceries.

Wow..beautiful facility! Owners very friendly and helpful. Landscape is beautiful. Concrete pads surrounded with grass. No dirt! Every site has a picnic table, fire pit/ BBQ grill. We where here for 10 days for a rally. They even built a meeting/kitchen building for our rally! That's accommodating!! The owners were super friendly and helpful. Some sites on the corners have beautiful water feature! My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Not far from I-40, but far enough as not to hear freeway noise. I highly recommend This RV park! We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large spacious paved and modern sites, both long and wide, big rig friendy. Beautiful well manicured park with water features and nice buildings. Easy to get to from the highway but far enough away that it was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We noticed a water leak when we arrived and it was fixed within a few hours. We attended a Rally at Wanderlust Crossing. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

New park, everything spanking clean. Large concrete pads, good grass yards, good spacing. All utilities worked fine, but ATT cell service is poor. Tengo internet free for first night, and maybe longer, not sure, but it worked very well. We are here for a DRV regional rally--the meeting room is a great place for get-togethers. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Large and secure dog walks. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Weatherford, OK, not exactly a destination town, but toured the Stafford Space Museum--interesting. Great dinner available about 5 miles west at the White Dog Hill Restaurant--unique old building. Park is very convenient to I-40 but far enough away to not hear traffic. This new park is done right and should have a great future as word spreads about it.

Overall Rating:

This is a new park. Facilities are very nice, however, the owners are extremely rude and they and their staff are very deficient in basic customer service and satisfaction. The spot they put us in was not entirely level as we were at the top of a hill. The picnic table was in the grass that slopes up but they insisted it was level. However our main issues were with water pressure and the internet. They did not understand that water pressure and water volume are two different things. Their maintenance person saw what was happening - pressure was fine but flow was non existent - but He said they wouldn't listen to him. They told us we had too many filters on our rig and that was the problem. Their solution was to tell us to use their showers. We found out there was a leak in their system that affected other campers but they insisted it didn't impact us.

You also have to pay for internet and when we couldn't connect we called technical support and they said there were issues with their towers. When we explained it to them they told us that it was illegal that we were looking at their towers. They obviously don't understand how the internet works. At no time did they offer us another space although plenty were available. They decided we complained too much and told us to leave even though we were there for a rally and they started to complain about all our rigs with filters.

We travel full time and have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior. We told them we would not give them a good review and when we did they were condescending and sarcastic and published our last name in their response. That just proves how unprofessional they are. They crossed the line regarding privacy.

These owners have never owned a RV park and it shows. They were flustered and defensive instead of trying to rectify the issues we pointed out to them. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I wish them luck but only when they change their attitude and realize satisfying the customer is their top priority. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a new park and someone paid attention to details. It's basically in 2 sections with long term in the back & short terms in the front. Level pull throughs & back up's on concrete. Spacious sites, full hook-ups. There is a lovely laundry w/new washers&dryers. There is even a coin operated dog wash that we took advantage with our 2 dirty Corgis. We used this as a "catch-up" stay--2 days for laundry, resting & groceries. Would stay again!! We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

New park with staff committed to keeping it pristine and RV friendly. All facilities were modern, even had underground tornado shelters for campers use in a weather emergency. In process of building a meeting/party room. Trailer set on a level concrete pad that they pressure wash after you leave...with grass on both sides of the wide site that they water during the night. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Take time to go to the Stafford Air and Space Museum...amazing. The Heartland Museum was entertaining and captured a look at the past. If you see all the wind farms and wondered just how big they are, stop by the Wind Power Park. Within a stone's throw of the RV park is Deep Creek Burgers and Pizza. Pizza was excellent. Restaurant is light on signage and sits behind a car dealership...but worth the stop...look for it.

Overall Rating:

This is by far the nicest park along I40 between Amarillo and Oklahoma City. It is easy access from the interstate, but far enough that there is no noticeable road noise. The park opened new in June 2017. The streets are asphalt and easy to navigate. The sites are concrete and level with a patio. The spaces between sites are dense sod. This park was done right, very nice. The entire south side of the park is a sodded area for walking pets. The showers, restrooms, and laundry are all very clean and nice and there are storm shelters located in the park. The office and store area are also large and nice. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. This is another one of our "rated 10, highly recommended" parks. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great park. We stayed 2 nights in a 40' mh. Very clean bathrooms. Nice hot shower. Showerhead high for tall people. Pull thru. No need to unhook toad but we did. Wide streets. Quite a dip from road to entrance of park. Be careful if towing to not bottom out. The staff was great. Called ahead to see if any mobile RV repair svc in area. Our phone kept dropping but staff persisted and we finally were able to get thru. Thank you!!! Laundry room great, and it uses quarters not cards! Thanks for that. Very well planned and thought out RV park! Couple of suggestions: more hooks in bathroom shower and a book shelf in ofc or laundry to leave and trade books and dvd's. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park just opened in June 2017, so everything is new. Definitely bi-rig friendly. We had FHU with 30-amp. Site was plenty big enough for our 25' class C with towed car. We met the friendly owners while we were out walking our dog and talked with them a while. They have a big rig and live on site. They shared their experiences of trying to find big-rig friendly parks thru their years of travels and decided that when they opened a campground that they would do everything, first class. It really shows in the details and the park is beautifully landscaped. Location is far enough from I-40 that we didn't hear any noise from it. This was the nicest campground that we stayed at on our way from Nashville to Las Vegas. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful brand new park. Spaces were wide, level pull thru's, concrete with grass in between. Curbs were easy to navigate and the entrance to each site was flared--making it easy to get in and out without going on the grass. Hook ups were strong and easy to use. Cell Service was good (Sprint). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It looked like there were some permanent campers but they were well kept and located at the back of the new park. There were playgrounds, dog runs, storm shelters, banquet hall and even propane on site. The only reason this is not rated a 10 is because there is no pool. This park is lovely. This is a great park. We stopped overnight and were so happy to find a clean and friendly place. Everything is new and even has a basketball court for kids! The gift shop is beautiful. Sites are all concrete and trees have been planted for future shade. Brochure shows two storm shelters for bad weather. Park is lit at night. Lots of grass between sites plus a dog park. A definite must stay for cross country travellers. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park deserves a perfect 10! It is so new and clean with fire pits and tables. Grass is beautiful with small trees. Dog friendly with nice walking areas. garbage pick-up in the AM. Just far enough away from the freeway, no noise at night. Free WIFI for 1 night, no cable. I would recommend to anyone traveling through. This is a very nice brand new park. Staff was very nice & Helpful. The sites were nice and wide, very level. Each sites driveways were angled with extra concrete so that when entering and exiting you did not clip the grass. Hook ups were very good. Wifi was excellent. Each site came with a fire ring and picnic bench. Shrubs are new... but will provide shade in a few years. This is an excellent park... the only reason for not giving a 10--would be lack of pool.
