I have stayed here before and thought I would check it out again, the washrooms have not been painted for years and are very dirty. only 2 sinks are working the other one has been out of service for years. The grounds are not very clean, and the site are pityfully. the owner does not care about you or the sites just money as you see in his rates. I have checked out other parks in the area and they are all booked full, this one is half empty. So that will tell you something. Spoke to some of the seasonal people are they all seem to to be very nice and helpful. Could not find the owner, gate is locked and no one in the office. Is this really how you run a business?... the owner does not touch the sites it is all up to you to fix them for them. I must say thou the pool was clean. was not overly happy with the park or the owners at this time. not very helpful with the sites getting in or out of them. In the spring they are all full of water and the campers are not too happy about it.Our site that was given to us was full of water up to our ankles... lots of better parks out there. We camped at Muskoka Ridge Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Not worth $56 a night for sure but it is the only one there I could find. The owners are very friendly and try to help. There is no WiFi and I knew that going in. The park is mostly seasonals with children playing. The site they gave us first was a back in and I would have to unhook. Being only there for 1 night they gave me a longer site right next to the swimming pool ( the kids playing ). It was a grass site with some gravel. The electric was 30 amp, water was OK. The sewer was a white PVC pipe laying on the ground dumping into a larger pipe. I would look long and hard for another place if going through here. I did and this was it. We camped at Muskoka Ridge Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

First the positives. The campground is only two miles from town and overlooks the beautiful Muskoka River. It's nice and quiet, the sites are large and the people are friendly. Now for the negatives. The park is gated but thre's no office which is a problem if you arrive unannounced. The washrooms are old and the floors are lifting. There's only one washer & dryer. You'd think there would be standards of appearance but the owners seem not to care. The first thing we saw as we drove in was piles of brush lying around. The planters were obviously neglected and almost everything was dead. We found we could not put our recyclables in the bin because they hadn't been emptied in some time. There were some old trailers that looked deserted and parked willy-nilly. We found the owner, who recently acquired the place, to be quite rude and the seasonal people we spoke to said they were quite fed up. We camped here a few years ago and loved it, now we will not come back. We camped at Muskoka Ridge Trailer Park in a Motorhome.
