A good park if you like canoeing. Three lakes accessible from the campground and more elsewhere in the park. Gravel sites in Hawks Nest North campground where we stayed. Hiking trails for those who hike. Not a lot of highway noise (in Hawks Nest campground) even though Highway 144 runs thru the park. I imagine it would be noisier in Wild Rose. Tree cover/shade isn't as good as it could be due to tornado damage in 2002. Poplar and birch are growing up now. We camped at Halfway Lake Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
