1 Park near Cobourg, Ontario
Sep 2015 - $45.00
Campers crammed in so tightly we could not use our awning for the first 2 days until someone left.
The very worst part was the condition of the permanent sewer hook ups. None of these were properly installed or came with sealed tops. Many had plastic bags held down with chunks of stone and in our case, ours was covered with a plastic bag full of water to seal the hook up when not in use.
Beach was pristine and well kept. The nearby park was magnificent and well tended. On walking back from it in the evening the only sour note was the faint but definite smell of sewage which hung over the trailer park. - Mrs Toto

Best beach in on Lake Ontario -- really. City campground, office staff was very nice to us. Not the cheapest place we stayed at, but our RV was literally less than 10ft from the beach, and a huge very clean swimming area. WOW. Nice place. - User2756

Over the summer we stayed at Victoria Park Campground. This was our second visit to this lake front campground. There is an amazing view of the lake and beach and lots to do in downtown Cobourg. Unfortunately, they cram the campsites too close together trying to make all the money they can. Our RV awning was touching another campers RV. When you walk through the oval shaped campgrounds all you see is campers jam packed together. One of the seasonal people told us they did this to get more people in. It didn’t used to be so jammed. They didn’t have enough staff to keep the washrooms clean. We found them to be dirty most of our stay both times. They don’t check on the campers often so strange people are hanging around at all hours of the night. Make sure you don’t travel alone. For the amount you pay, and the little service you get, I don’t recommend this park. We tried it twice and don’t think we will be coming back. They also have a lousy reservation system for the Canada Day long weekend. Forcing campers to wait all night in a line up. - GarrettEdwards
