There are beautiful sites in this park. Unfortunately they are all seasonal. Those left for transients are as tight as in south Florida. It feels like you are camping in someone's back yard. We met family who came from the south while we came from the north. Unfortunately during our family dinner one of the seasonals started a fire throwing on bags of leaves and then started to chain saw up a tree. Dinner ruined between the noise and the smoke.

The only adult we saw was a lady working in the front office. Although she was pleasant all other tasks were being handled by teenagers. So there was no enforcement of rules. Loose dogs and golf carts piloted by 4 or 5 children running around even after dark. Roads partially blocked by multiple vehicles parked near seasonal sites. Such a shame as it could be a wonderful park. We camped at Gravenhurst / Muskoka KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed at a site in amongst some seasonals. It was a large spot and quiet. Our grandkids loved it..pools, bikes for rent, playground. This is an older KOA and a bit rough around the edges but the staff are very friendly. Their is a nine hole par 3 golf course and boats for rent across the road both operated by the campground. Store has lots of stuff. Washrooms are tired but fairly clean. We camped at Gravenhurst / Muskoka KOA in a Motorhome.

We’re quite familiar with KOAs, and this one is not up to standards. It is in need of some updating. One of the things that we didn’t like was that the seasonals were mixed throughout the campground, and many of them were older and run down. Water pressure on our full-service site was very low at peak times. We had requested a large site, but we had barely enough room to park and place the picnic table in front of our trailer. The front desk seemed to be run by teenagers (absence of adults), although they were polite and friendly. While we didn’t use the pools, they were attractive and well used by regulars. The interior roads are gravel and bumpy, but it is easy to manage large rigs through the campground. Free wi-fi was available at the front building and pool areas only. The campground is a short drive to downtown Gravenhurst. We stayed for three nights. We camped at Gravenhurst / Muskoka KOA in a Travel Trailer.
