Overall Rating:

Had a great time at the park on the August long weekend. We had issues with our power due to the heat and the number of people using their air conditioners, but that was quickly fixed by switching my heater and fridge to propane. Kids had a great time and swimming was fantastic. The indoor pool was cold, but on a hot day it was very refreshing to say the least. I had approached the owner re: the power situation and we got on the topic of pool and he clearly stated to me that the pool is normally heated, however, it wasn't working right now. He tried to get it fixed prior to the long weekend, but didn't manage to get a guy in. We were on full service in which they pump your tanks for you which was a great service. We had to wait a bit to get it done as there were so many to do, but we weren't in a big rush. I have read a lot of complaints about this park and it's owner, but to be quite honest I never had a problem. He was open and honest and even helped me out if I needed something. I will definitely be back. Don't believe all the negative reviews you read. If someone is to have one minor bad experience they tend to blow the whole thing up in reviews. It's really hard to make everyone happy. Things are bound to go wrong (ie. Our power situation), but I can move on and deal with it and still enjoy the weekend despite. Unfortunately a lot of people can't. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very cold heated pool even colder hot tub. 90% sites are are muddy Very bad manner and rude owner. Owner is very in your face abut how much money he has spent. Very unorganized. Much more stuff but do not have enough space for my very long negative comment about this park. We will NEVER RETURN. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly a seasonal campground. Transient sites are small, narrow and difficult to access with anything larger than a tent trailer. No full hookups or 30 amp service on non seasonal sites as far as we could tell. Dogs everywhere with the copius mounds of dog excrement to prove it. Pool was fairly clean but other than that, not at all what we expect from the KOA brand. It feels more like jim bob's private camp for four wheeling and boozing. Nothing wrong with that, but not what one expects when staying at a KOA. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Travel Trailer.

A little crowded for our tastes. More of a seasonal park than an RV park. Poor WiFi service and noisy. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This was our first time camping here & we just LOVED it! There's so much for the kids to do & there's also ATV trails so if you have an ATV, bring it! The people here are very friendly and offer nightly tractor rides around the park. There's an indoor & outdoor pool & they're maintained very well! The only thing I'd like to see is the indoor pool needs some work on the cement because it gets very slippery. Overall, a GREAT campground! We camped at Marmora KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Initially stayed here due to having family nearby; however we would recommend this campground for those who wish to get out in the country for peace and quiet. Staff was courteous and helpful while we were there. Yes, there are friendly long-term campers, both friendly and helpful - we returned to camp one night to see our awning taken down as the neighbors were concerned about the wind blowing too hard while we were gone. Interior roads are a bit rough in back of the pool area. Mini-golf, large areas to play games, nice pool, playground make for a great family campground. Not sure I would take a motorhome into this campground. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park appeared to be primarily for season long campers. There seemed to be a limited number of daily sites. The sites were very close together. WiFi was just activated in the office area and sites close by that could pick up the signal from the office router. The park was much further away from the major east/west highway 401 we were traveling than we realized. Lake Ontario was about one hour south. We camped at Marmora KOA in a Motorhome.
