This park has grass sites, basically free-form (park your rig where you like on your assigned lot) with quite a bit of shade, but generally quite easy access. The staff was very helpful. We used the good inexpensive laundry on site. Our satellite connection was good. Overall we were pleased with the place, though the price is high. We might stay again. A beautiful, clean, and quiet campground. Sites are immaculate, spacious, and the views of the mighty St. Lawrence are impressive. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small beach that is adequate for cooling off. As for the alcohol ban, we enjoyed beer and wine discreetly with no problems. We saw deer on several occasions. It is very close to Upper Canada Village, which makes a nice day trip. We camped at Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary & Nature Campsite in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Perfect if you want to rest and relax. This campground is for bird watchers and nature lovers. Very quiet and peaceful, keep it like this. Excellent hiking and biking trails. Small beach, well maintained. In order to discourage the wrong type of customers, UC Bird Sanctuary has a all year round alcohol ban. All waterfront sites are "no services." This was the first camping trip we took in our new to us trailer. When we got to the site we were greeted by very friendly staff who explained everything we needed to know about the site. When we got to our site it was huge, I drive a 4 door full size Chevy Silverado with a 26' trailer and I was able to drive around my site with ease. From our site we have a perfect view of the St-Lawrence seaway where we could walk in less than a minute to a beautiful beach and watch the huge tankers go by in the far off distance. The only reason I don't give this campground a 10 is because this is an alcohol free park and it would have been nice to enjoy a beer while watching to boats go buy. It was a beautiful 3 days. And a wonderful way to start my camping stage in life unlike my terrible experience at Jellystone Park Niagara Falls. This is a campground for bird watchers and nature lovers. Lots of hiking and biking trails, a nice beach and very spacious sites. Only one single shower for males and females. In order to discourage the wrong type of person to come there it has a year round alcohol ban. Beautiful views of the water with big ocean-going vessels from almost every site.
