Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Greeted by 'two old boys' who had lost track of our reservation, but fixed us up anyway. Wi-Fi is SUPER STRONG. The place is mainly seasonal. Has a nice fenced off Underos park. Some construction noise from 9 to 5 at one end of park. Office/Shop/Washrooms etc., are at the entrance at the top of the hill, walk or drive it? So only 9/10. Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $21.00
This is a great park, just a few km east of highway 11 on Lake Temiskaming off Highway 65. It's mostly seasonal sites, with several rows of short-term sites. Some are huge pull-throughs, others are large back-ins. Prices vary by services required. Free fast Wi-Fi available, but reception will vary due to trees and hills near the office. There's a small store, boat launch, swimming pool and kids playground available. Cell phone reception is very marginal, although a new tower across the lake is being installed for 2011. I stayed here for a month and a half, and loved it. We camped at Sutton Bay Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
