4 RV Parks near North Bay, Ontario
Jul 2018 - $30.00
This is an old park. There were three electrical outlets at our site but only one of them worked properly. Only 30 amp service was available. The WIFI was not working initially but was quite good when it was fixed. The owners were very helpful in fixing the problems. On the positive side, the park is in a very nice location. Next to the park is a very nice city park with a beach, a boat ramp, playground for kids, and a fenced dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. A walkway connects the park with the city park. - MkvCjv
Sep 2016 - $40.00
Apparently, there are few options in this area for RV parks. We are really surprised that it gathered so many positive comments. We noted that the office smelled badly, during our check in process. $40 US was charged and no change given. Lots of permanent residents in this Park, most residents and guests were packed like sardines. Bathrooms and showers were decently clean, but very low rent in appearance. When rainy, there are lots of puddles in the main driveways to dodge.
The only plus was that it was right next to a very nice park on Lake Nispimming, certainly not a sufficient reason for camping here, however. - Dondi-496
Aug 2013 - $36.00
The park is in a residential area across the road from Lake Nipissing. There is a nice beach within walking distance. The park has grassy, treed lots. Good TV and Wi-Fi reception. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay here again. - User3196
Jul 2018 - $33.00
Overnight campers are an afterthought in this park. No sewer, 30 amp, hookups in far rear of site, so not good for a tow vehicle. Must unhook. Really not big rig friendly. Internet marginal. Do not recommend. Pass it by. - Mama Cooks
Jun 2012 - $30.00
We live only a few hours away from this park and have passed several times during our travels but have never stayed until this year. We stayed on our return home. The owners were very friendly and the washrooms are the cleanest washrooms we have ever encountered in a park and we have traveled extensively in North America. The premise was well kept. Most of the campers reside their throughout the summer and were quite friendly. We found our stay quite relaxing and the atmosphere was quaint and peaceful. There were only a few pull through sites and they could have been a bit larger. Other lots seemed large and the layout of the campground was more natural and not as densely packed as others. We would definitely stay again. - violet
Jun 2010 - $31.00
The staff was very nice and friendly. The place left a lot to be desired. The dump station is on unlevel ground and you need to turn into it on arc and then exit onto an uphill somewhat off camber road. Our site looked like an after thought. Not very big rig friendly. Our neighbor growled at us for being near her plants. We did not touch or drive on them. It was clean, though. A number of full timers here. Some dated rigs. - Malee

YIKS ...... tight tight tight. Few good options around North Bay On. On the upside .... your in town .... no wilderness camping here.
This campground is a tight loop around back of a Motel - reminiscent of 1970's camping, roads are tight - and that's with a TT / or 5th - how a large MO could fit would indeed be a challenge. We have stayed at this CG MANY times (thus the only dated pic's from about 20 years ago). The power was on again off again - my brothers site and 1/2 the CG went out overnight - and they sweltered in their MO (class C - 28 feet). Lucky we remained with power - different breaker I suppose. We have been with a 21 foot TT, 28 foot TT, 32 foot TT and a 34 foot 5th - all do-able - but its a challenge. Power as I recall is 15/20/30 amp.
Mosquitoes can be horrid, fish fly's can be a problem as well / they coat EVERYTHING.
Your in town so take a walk about --- BTW if there's an incoming TT/5th etc and your on the way out the loop in/out is around the side of the motel - someone's going to have to give way.
Would we stop here again ...... NO, power (as demonstrated is not reliable - read OLD CAMPGROUND), sites are very tight (5th and MOHO stay close to the Motel - open end of the loop). Our trips now include "not" stopping here. But having said that it is perfect for someone that wants to stay IN TOWN. - Medic73
Sep 2013 - $35.00
I would not hesitate to stay here anytime for work or pleasure. They make construction workers feel welcome, not despised. - Brooktrout
May 2012 - $40.00
This is a great spot for both tourists and fishermen alike. Lake Nipissing is a very productive walleye and pan fish treasure. There are 14 transient sites but some have been pre-booked. Excellent sand beach and water access with paddle boats, kayaks and canoes plus rental motor boats. Operators are very friendly and accommodating and on site. Distance to North Bay city center is 20 kms., all paved. A treat is the campground wildlife and fowl. - RV Berries
Aug 2011 - $45.00
Very nice park, clean and neat. Owners were very pleasant and accommodating to any of our needs. We would go back there but stay in one of their clean cottages. - veryhappy
