First time here. Heard great reviews. This is a leased managed park that is owned by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission. Grassy sites, no mats permitted and really you do not need them here. Water on your site, beaches are nice, pet swimming area. Lots of seasonals.

50 amp not available, but lots of big units using adapters. Our unit is 30 amp but did need the power reset twice. We weren't running everything, but it was a warm weekend.

Dump station and pump out service is available for a fee. 3 bundles of firewood run you $25 cdn or $10 each.

Great view of the St. Lawrence and ship traffic. 2km from Johnstown, On and 4km from Prescott, On. Ogdenburg, NY / Johnstown, ON International Bridge 2 minutes. You can view the whole bridge span from the park. Office and staff contact is basically office hours only. If you need wood/propane/pump out or power reset, you need to do it during office hours. We camped at Grenville park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park, conveniently located and very family oriented. There are a number of seasonal sites and less overnight sites. When I called to reserve, I had to tell them what kind of site I was looking for, because they didn't ask. We had our trailer and my niece set up her tent on the same site, but we were still charged for two sites. Next time I would just book two sites. Internet is $2/device/day and worked well. Showers are $1 for six minutes (in reality about 4.5 minutes). We camped at Grenville park in a Travel Trailer.

We really loved this park. It is right on the St. Lawrence seaway. We had a pull-through site. The rate was Passport America and cash payment. This park has a large number of seasonal sites but very well maintained. The land is owned by some kind of Canadian Parks commission and all seasonal sites must be vacated in the window - the RV and all patios, sheds must be removed. This keeps the seasonal RV sites very clean and uncluttered. We would have stayed here longer but the park was full for the Canadian Civic 3 day weekend. We camped at Grenville park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty park next to the river with lots of trees, very well maintained. The sites are kind of close to each other, but there is a big parking lot for tow vehicles in the middle of the park, which helped. The customer service was very good, except for the grumpy old man they sent out to "help" people park. Screaming at people while they are trying to park is of no help... There is Wi-Fi available for a small fee, and it worked reasonably well most of the time. The Passport America rate is actually a little lower than I paid, because there was a holiday during one day of my stay. We camped at Grenville park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful setting on the St. Lawrence River. Our site faced the volleyball area and "beach" then the water was just beyond so we did not have any other RVs in front of us. 30 amp service only + water, no sewer hookups but there are a couple of dump stations and pump out service is available. Wifi is $2 per unit (laptop or Ipad etc) per day. A few over the air TV stations were available and we had cell signals from the US here.

Our site sloped towards the water so some leveling was required. The park is very big but well laid out and the sites are spacious. We camped at Grenville park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Some shopping available in Prescott approx. 5 miles west on Rt. 2. Ft. Wellington is nearby as well as the remnants of the Windmill Battle of the early 1800s. The windmill is now a lighthouse but will not reopen to the public until summer of 2016 according to the sign on the door.

Everything was OK. Nothing was great. The laundry was the most expensive we'd seen in 5 months of travel. The smallest mini golf course we'd ever seen. The staff were OK. Not great customer service. The site was close to next door but mostly flat. Bugs galore so don't forget your bug spray. We camped at Grenville park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park and well-maintained. Nice views of St Lawrence River and international bridge. The sites are level/gravel and there are about 5 pull-throughs. Most sites are taken up by seasonals. Transient sites include water and 30amp but no sewer. $Dump. $Hot showers (we did not use). $8 extra for each visiting adult. $Wifi (which is good). $2.75 washer; $2.50 dryer: much cheaper to go into town. The extra charges were annoying, especially given that we paid $1050 for a month, off-season. Extensive facilities (clean) and nice playground and beach. Book exchange. However, host is very unfriendly and we did not feel welcome. We would not stay here again. We camped at Grenville park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We like hiking and there are no trails around here. Best groceries are at the Independent Store in Prescott, about 15 min drive. Laundry in Prescott is $1.75 washer and 0.25 per 10 minutes dryer.

Located at the exit from the bridge over the St Lawrence river from Prescott, Ontario. This used to be a 1000 Islands Park Commision site so the location and grounds are fantastic. The campground is well maintained. On weekends the place fills up and some sites are pretty close together. There are a lot of trailers parked here for the summer/year. Overflow area is across the road. Beach areas are swimmable. We have been here twice and like the location. Staff are nice, but the owner tends to be a bit grumpy. We camped at Grenville park in a Travel Trailer.
