Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $60.00
We had the worst time here; so much so we paid 3 nigts and left after only one. There is no swimming, no playground, and they charge $45 a night plus $5 per child and I have 3 kids! Only one washroom so one person at a time. Sites have no fire pits unless it's a seasonal site. There are trees but not much shade at all. Check it out on google maps before you go; we will never return. Staff was very rude, but nice on the phone at time of booking. We camped at St. Clair Shores Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
We camped here right on the shores of Lake St. Clair. Big trees provided shade and flowers were blooming. The campground is older but adequate and the hostess is nice and accommodating. The only con is that it is not 30 minutes from Windsor but more like 45 minutes to an hour. We would stay here again if ever this way. There is a fishing dock where you can fish just steps from your campsite. Everything in Canada just seems so much cleaner, especially contrasting to Detroit. We camped at St. Clair Shores Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
