This campground has extremely narrow roads and tight turns. We were able to navigate our 35' MH with a toad, but I wouldn't want to do it in a 45' one. The exterior ring road is wide enough, but if your have to go down one of the interior roads it would be very challenging if not impossible. Fortunately we were there in October with very few other people in the park, and we had our choice of sites so we picked one that was right off the main ring road and easy to access.
The campground is right off of Hwy 17, and is noisy during the day, but it seemed to quiet down at night.
The beach area is beautiful and the sunset was awesome. With no other lights around, viewing the stars at night was incredible. There is a very nice visitor center at the park with friendly staff.
If you need electrical be sure to have at least 75' of power cord as the outlets are for two sites and set between sites so a long cord is needed for most sites. - cagvc

Beautiful place, we really liked it. Pretty pricey, but I'd still come back. We were on the last row, so Highway 17 was only 50 yards away, but the highway noise didn't bother us. The beach is very nice and clean. - Bob806

My family loved the hiking trails and the clean site that had privacy. Not much luck on the fishing but still a blast! - K Petersen

It was the last night they were open. No employees there and only one other rv. Sites are electric or none. Very private sites. Electric outlets in really bad places. You need an extra long cord where they are located. Pit toilets close by and another nice bathroom with showers, toilets and even a laundry. - Paige Taylor
Aug 2016 - $31.00
Very quiet in the campground, despite being near Hwy 17. Dark skies, enough to see the Milky Way. Bring flashlights. Porta Potties in electrical campsites area. Comfort Station has modern showers included in camp fee, flush toilets, and one coin operated washer/dryer set in the laundry room. Bring a long extension power cord. Dump station located near the entrance, by the gate house. Canoes are available for rent ($5.00CAD/hour) from the gate house. Change for the laundromat is also available from there. Dogs on 6' leashes are allowed, but not on beaches. Camp fee above is in USD and does not include HST or online reservation fee. - rvYoungster16

The hostess would not give a price until we stated which club discount we were going to use. The wife felt as if she was getting taken. The site was level. The stay was pleasant. No satellite reception because of the trees. - Coy R

No hot water in the laundry. WiFi was come and go: worked good when on. Overhanging trees on entry make for a one way road. Just hope no one is coming the other way. Very tight turns and difficult to get to dump when entering. OK when exiting.
With exchange rate: works out to about $35USD. So not bad for what you get. Yes, there is a pool and hot tub and the only park for the area. But could use some tree trimming. Trees scraped our sides and roof all night. And needs grounds updates: at least attach the screen to the laundry door. - SailorGolf

This is a pleasant and convenient place to stay near hwy 17 and many lovely lakes, rivers and trails but important to note: this is a "campground" not a "resort". Still, the best in the area. Good variety of open and secluded sites, big rig access but some turns are tight. Quiet, friendly. Roads are gravel. Pool, washrooms and showers are older in style - concrete & wood- but mostly clean. Wifi not bad. Water pressure good. Could use some updating. - sue123
