Convenient overnight spot. Mostly seasonals, but about 10 sites are for transients. The place is associated with a motel, but it is really a full-service campground as well. Our site was very nice and quite easy to get into.
We would very likely stay here again. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
Close to Sarnia.
Try the Petroleum Museum in nearby Petrolia. First oil wells in North America!
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
This campground is associated with a motel operation, but the campground itself is quite well run. It is clean, accessible to big rigs, and appears to have modern facilities. Most sites are allocated to seasonal campers, but the transient sites are somewhat separate. The laundry is clean and inexpensive. Our satellite view was excellent, as are almost all the transient sites. Our rate includes a discount for a seven day stay, but even at the full rate, the price is very good. The transient sites are far from the nearby road, so everything was quiet. The only thing keeping this place from being a 10 is the large seasonal population. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a quiet, pleasant spot for an overnight stop. There are about 12 full hookup pull thru overnight grassy sites at the rear of a well kept seasonal park. Wi-Fi available at all sites for $2 per day. Its far enough from the highway so that there is no road noise. All sizes of RVs can access the sites easily. No trees at the overnight sites. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
