We were very surprised when we arrived after reading the last review. This park is not a parking lot. We stayed in a pull through in a long site. The entire row has spacious grassy sites. The park has a lot of seasonal campers but the sites we saw were in good condition. Lots of golf carts but the people were courteous & quiet. The office was open till 9 pm & had snacks & hand dipped ice cream. The rate is high but I can see why they are charging so much since they are near the border crossing. I would stay here again. The main road in the park does need tree trimming. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It's a parking area behind the motel. Most of the trailers there look to be full-time and some were not in good shape at all. We parked on grass with a few other RVs on each side. The road is gravel and dusty. There is a "lake" in the middle of the grounds along with a swimming pool. No shade at all in the area where we parked. We stayed there one night and would not stay again because it really was overpriced compared to all the other RV campgrounds we've been to since this past March. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park for a short stay in one of 10 transient spots. Very clean, well kept and friendly. Sites are level and easy pull through. Close to Sarnia and USA. I would not hesitate to come back again. Stayed here in 35' 5th wheel. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Mostly seasonal with a few transient sites. Access roads are very narrow (single lane for all but entry lane which is maybe a lane and a quarter) starting with asphalt and quickly transitioning to gravel. Other than the narrowness of the access roads, big rig access is adequate. Transient sites are grass pullthrus some with only 30A so look carefully before selecting a site if you want 50A. Slight slope on the site to the front. Very noticeable manure smell overnight, but not during the day.

Wifi is pay for service, decent signal strength, but did not use. Verizon (Bell) 3-4 bars, did not check speed. T-Mobile (Telus) LTE 4-5 bars with decent speed. Full recycle on site. It's a good overnight close to the border, but we're not sure we'd stay here again. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Convenient overnight spot. Mostly seasonals, but about 10 sites are for transients. The place is associated with a motel, but it is really a full-service campground as well. Our site was very nice and quite easy to get into.

We would very likely stay here again. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is associated with a motel operation, but the campground itself is quite well run. It is clean, accessible to big rigs, and appears to have modern facilities. Most sites are allocated to seasonal campers, but the transient sites are somewhat separate. The laundry is clean and inexpensive. Our satellite view was excellent, as are almost all the transient sites. Our rate includes a discount for a seven day stay, but even at the full rate, the price is very good. The transient sites are far from the nearby road, so everything was quiet. The only thing keeping this place from being a 10 is the large seasonal population. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a quiet, pleasant spot for an overnight stop. There are about 12 full hookup pull thru overnight grassy sites at the rear of a well kept seasonal park. Wi-Fi available at all sites for $2 per day. Its far enough from the highway so that there is no road noise. All sizes of RVs can access the sites easily. No trees at the overnight sites. We camped at Country View Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
