This RV park is an older park, but is fairly well maintained where it needs to be. The flag poles could use a coat of paint though1 :-) The power and water were very reliable. We did not hook up to the cable because we were able to get 13 channels over the air without any problem. Only about a third of the sites have sewer, but there is a dump station. The sites are packed sand and the roads are well maintained. For those of us with slide outs, the sites can be a little tight. The sites only have 30 amp service, and they DO NOT allow you to run your generator. They have a laundry room as well as a small convenience store. A couple of nice things about this park is, they have a tent camping area, and they don't have any breed restrictions when it comes to dogs. We will definitely come back here again when we are in town for the Shakespeare festival. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

As others have noted, this is a very tight, dense little park. We have a 31' Class C, and saw one or two larger rigs, but we are all pretty much on top of each other. Bonus, lots of nice mature trees and a creek nearby. Also kids might enjoy the pool. Mostly needed a park close to Ashland and this met the need. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A real country campground: narrow unlevel dusty sites, shaded all day by big trees. The rushing babbling brook behind our site (#37, at the back of the property), drowned out any road noise from the country road out front. No bright lights at night except the Moon and millions of stars. We had WIFI in our site about 500 feet from the office. Marked down for real campground shower rooms; front shower building has tile stalls but no heat; back shower building has plastic stalls that sway when you shift your footing. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ashland Shakespeare is about 15 miles.

For views, take Dead Indian Memerial Road into hills; note the lavender field just past the airport.

Terrible! The facility is in need of upkeep and repair. During our stay a strong wind tore several large tree branches down and some landed on vehicles and RV's. The owners should really tend the trees. It is dangerous. Also, out of 2 bathrooms, only 1 had a heater in it. The other bathroom had a clogged toilet and the cleaning lady was incredibly rude. Bumpy road with sharp curves made it hard for my husband to maneuver our Class C through. Overall thumbs down. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 5 nights at a full hookup site during our annual stay in Ashland. We didn't really use the facilities as we prefer our trailer given full hookups but they were clean and in good shape. It was quiet, shady, clean (for the most part, our site had some cigarette butts and garbage in the fire ring), the couple of permanents were nice and friendly. Cable TV was included and we got free wifi from our site (not all do, but it's available on the patio at the office). We will be back next year for another week long stay, much better than a hotel for our annual OSF trip! We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park has a little store, propane, and a dump station. 30 amp service. Only a quick drive to downtown Ashland/Shakespeare Festival and Emigrant Lake. Hosts very friendly, pets welcome. Also offers nice tent sites and has a cute little pond and covered bridge. Kiddos enjoyed the pool, game room, and playground.

We booked this campground online. The website looked great and this place definitely has potential, however, there are quite a few "residents" living at this campground. There is junk, cars, old RVs and trailers all over the place (mostly toward the end of the campground just before you drive out). We were reserved for 3 nights and only ended up staying there for one night, due to the fact that we did not feel comfortable having our children at this campground. The camp grounds were actually not bad (clean and seemed somewhat maintained) but the people that were "hanging out" and "driving around" the campground made it terrible. We will definitely NEVER stay at this campground again and do not recommend it to anyone!! We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night on our way south. This park is for long-termers with most sites filled with old RVs and junk. The manager was friendly. Washrooms were clean. We might stay here again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

First impressions of this park were that it was run down and rather shabby, with many long-term residents despite the cute little pond with the bridge at the park entrance. During check-in we had to inquire if there were any discounts as the woman in the office was quite unenthusiastic about being there or helping us. Had to return later to inquire about the advertised Wi-Fi and cable TV hookup and was told "oh yeah you will need a descrambler box for the cable but I don't think you'll get Wi-Fi down there". Although site was backed up to a nice little creek the neighboring site had so much junk stacked up around the trailer we wondered if there was a garage sale going on. Will NOT being staying here again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were worried about staying here after reading some reviews, but were very tired and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a good stop over spot. It is a nice setting although some tight spaces. Wi-Fi worked well and our Verizon phone had service. The bathrooms were older, but very clean. The other campers were friendly as was the manager. We would stay here again when driving through the area. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is very tight to get into, but we managed. The stream is right out the back of the trailer. It's lovely to listen to. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were fortunate to find this place at night in the rain, but definitely would avoid it in the future. The entrance is kind of pretty but as you look around the park it is really rough. Lots of full timers in small campers and even some in tents! (Assume they were full timers because this certainly isn't vacation weather.) We registered after hours and were confused as the only pull-thru site we could fit into (only 7 total in the park) was listed as "full hookup" but we could only access electricity. The roadway to get to it was very rough, water-riveted gravel. Did not feel safe. Would not do this again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount for 4 nights. We got the only pull-through site in the park, and it didn't have sewer. It was next to Neil Creek, which was lovely, but the park is small, with very narrow, windy roads and small sites packed close together. If we had been assigned any other site in the park, we would have left. The manager was friendly and our check-in easy. The Wi-Fi worked well in our space. There appear to be a lot of long-term residents, and the park is in need of maintenance. We will not stay there again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly and helpful owners, we arrived shortly after closing and they were outside, they approached us and told us where our site information and checkin documents were. The after hours check-in is very efficient. We stayed one night on our way up the coast and wished we could have stayed longer. The creek behind us was very nice and helped us sleep after a long day of driving. There were blackberry bushes all around. The restroom/shower are was very clean and looked freshly painted. We would stay here again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Tent Trailer.

The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed twice in one week. The first night, we got there early and they let us check in early. The owner went and trimmed a tree for us because we are nearly 13' 6". As one reviewer said, there are some long-term residents here, but we did not find them unfriendly. In fact, during our first stay, someone in a site next to us was having difficulty with their trailer jack. One of the long-term residents helped to fix the problem and get the trailer hitched to the pickup. The creek behind us was wonderful. It helped to relax us and help us to sleep after a long day of driving. We would stay here again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
