This is an older park and keeping the restrooms clean is a chore, however the restrooms were clean, but the showers could have been a bit cleaner. Our site was level and the hook ups were centrally located. The wifi and cable worked great at the site. The roads were quite narrow for large rigs. The owner was on site and very helpful. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Would not stay here again. Dusty, very un-level site, water pressure was decent and the 30 amp power was extremely high (133 volts), Interior roads were very hard to navigate with a 30' trailer and the back-in site was very short. Stayed only one night and that was enough. A very shady place, be careful for low hanging branches. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Best thing about this small park is its proximity to downtown Ashland, only about 4 miles. Points off for only having two toikets and two showers in the restroom, though they were kept clean. We were in space 45, which offers a fence on one side, and nice shade from the trees. We have a 24' class B, however. Larger vehicles would not have enough space in many of the back-ins and there are limited pull through spots with far less shade. I do prefer this property to the one in Talent, though. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We returned to the Glenyan RV resort when we came to Ashland for a visit with family for the holidays. It was the week between Christmas and New Years and service was pretty hard to come by. We understand that, because of the holidays, but we would have loved to been able to tell the staff about a guy that came by our rig late at night looking for Oxycodone or a similar strong drug. According to the guy that was asking, he had a family member that was in a lot of pain. We gave him a couple of tylonol and sent him on his way. It just left us feeling really uncomfortable. We won't return here again because of that. We will be going to the campground at the lake next time we are in town. In the past the staff has always been helpful, and we understand it is the holidays, but there should still be some services available. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This RV park is an older park, but is fairly well maintained where it needs to be. The flag poles could use a coat of paint though1 :-) The power and water were very reliable. We did not hook up to the cable because we were able to get 13 channels over the air without any problem. Only about a third of the sites have sewer, but there is a dump station. The sites are packed sand and the roads are well maintained. For those of us with slide outs, the sites can be a little tight. The sites only have 30 amp service, and they DO NOT allow you to run your generator. They have a laundry room as well as a small convenience store. A couple of nice things about this park is, they have a tent camping area, and they don't have any breed restrictions when it comes to dogs. We will definitely come back here again when we are in town for the Shakespeare festival. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A real country campground: narrow unlevel dusty sites, shaded all day by big trees. The rushing babbling brook behind our site (#37, at the back of the property), drowned out any road noise from the country road out front. No bright lights at night except the Moon and millions of stars. We had WIFI in our site about 500 feet from the office. Marked down for real campground shower rooms; front shower building has tile stalls but no heat; back shower building has plastic stalls that sway when you shift your footing. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ashland Shakespeare is about 15 miles.

For views, take Dead Indian Memerial Road into hills; note the lavender field just past the airport.

As others have noted, this is a very tight, dense little park. We have a 31' Class C, and saw one or two larger rigs, but we are all pretty much on top of each other. Bonus, lots of nice mature trees and a creek nearby. Also kids might enjoy the pool. Mostly needed a park close to Ashland and this met the need. Terrible! The facility is in need of upkeep and repair. During our stay a strong wind tore several large tree branches down and some landed on vehicles and RV's. The owners should really tend the trees. It is dangerous. Also, out of 2 bathrooms, only 1 had a heater in it. The other bathroom had a clogged toilet and the cleaning lady was incredibly rude. Bumpy road with sharp curves made it hard for my husband to maneuver our Class C through. Overall thumbs down. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 5 nights at a full hookup site during our annual stay in Ashland. We didn't really use the facilities as we prefer our trailer given full hookups but they were clean and in good shape. It was quiet, shady, clean (for the most part, our site had some cigarette butts and garbage in the fire ring), the couple of permanents were nice and friendly. Cable TV was included and we got free wifi from our site (not all do, but it's available on the patio at the office). We will be back next year for another week long stay, much better than a hotel for our annual OSF trip! We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park has a little store, propane, and a dump station. 30 amp service. Only a quick drive to downtown Ashland/Shakespeare Festival and Emigrant Lake. Hosts very friendly, pets welcome. Also offers nice tent sites and has a cute little pond and covered bridge. Kiddos enjoyed the pool, game room, and playground.

We booked this campground online. The website looked great and this place definitely has potential, however, there are quite a few "residents" living at this campground. There is junk, cars, old RVs and trailers all over the place (mostly toward the end of the campground just before you drive out). We were reserved for 3 nights and only ended up staying there for one night, due to the fact that we did not feel comfortable having our children at this campground. The camp grounds were actually not bad (clean and seemed somewhat maintained) but the people that were "hanging out" and "driving around" the campground made it terrible. We will definitely NEVER stay at this campground again and do not recommend it to anyone!! We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

First impressions of this park were that it was run down and rather shabby, with many long-term residents despite the cute little pond with the bridge at the park entrance. During check-in we had to inquire if there were any discounts as the woman in the office was quite unenthusiastic about being there or helping us. Had to return later to inquire about the advertised Wi-Fi and cable TV hookup and was told "oh yeah you will need a descrambler box for the cable but I don't think you'll get Wi-Fi down there". Although site was backed up to a nice little creek the neighboring site had so much junk stacked up around the trailer we wondered if there was a garage sale going on. Will NOT being staying here again. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
