Beautiful campground and friendly staff. More than enough room for our 40' Motorhome and toad. WiFi worked great! Excellent Proxcimity to Downtown and shopping. Forward pullin with golf course view wonderful. GPS tried to route us through town over steep hills from highway 30, called office and they recommend going through traffiic circle at highway 101 and business 101. Glad I took their advice. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big rig friendly, we are 63' total. We had a long wide pull in on the top level with a large grass area on the side. We had a beautiful green view out the windshield as well as side windows. The owners are super friendly and provide great info on all area attractions. There is golf, foot golf, and frisbee golf all on site. The park has a GREAT location to see area attractions. We stayed 3 nights but could have, and should have, stayed longer. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have never camped at a golf course before, but we rather like it. Pulled our coach in so that windshield faces the golf course to enjoy the view. Here's hoping no golfer shanks a ball off the tee. Sites are gravel and level. Roads throughout the park are paved and in great condition. Full hookups are side-by-side, so it made sense for us to pull in forward rather than back in. WiFi works great!!! Owner said she reboots the router on a regular basis (more campgrounds should do this). There are shrubs for privacy between sites and some trees for shade. Convenient to US 101. Golf club rentals are included with site. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a wannabee glamping location, but, overall, between the close proximity to your neighbor, and lack of any amenities other than golf, it leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing to really knock it about, it has a great location, But the pads are gravel, the strips of grass narrow between sites, with sewer right on your grass strip. The staff gave us a pull through (we did not request) which they save for overnight and shorter term stays, and then commented why we'd want to change from that site to an unobstructed golf course view site (same price). INMHO it is not worth the almost $50 price tag, We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don't miss climbing to the top of Astoria column. It is a steep climb, just take it slow, the views are amazing.

Nice looking park, with easy access for our 5th wheel. However we'll look else where when we return to Astoria. Boy what an attitude they had when we checked in, even though we'd not caused any issues other than not stopping exactly at the 'Stop Here Stop sign" for registration. After getting an earful, I finally asked what major crime or sin had I committed. This was coming from an office worker with the owners present.

The TV antenna reception was not bad, with the 4 major stations and golden oldies movies and tv shows. Finally, the WIFI isn't worth trying to connect to, it's a joke. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park in convenient location for exploring the Astoria area. Pull in site facing the golf course with nice view. Clean restrooms and showers which is a must for us. The sites are gravel but level and enough room for slides and picnic table. All the services work well. Seems the best park in the area. Only negative is the golf course. Nine hole course, paid for 18, played 8 and went home. Save your money, not worth playing if you are anything above a beginner. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Management was helpful in getting to the park (don't listen to gps) and in making restaurant recommendations. Bow Picker, Coffee Girl, Arnie's etc. and get the "Phone" chowder at Northwest Wild Products which has only a small table inside but wonderful fresh food. Columbia River Maritime Museum is a must. Also Ft. Clatsop, Ft. Stevens State Park, Flavil Museum, Astoria Column, the Trolley along the riverwalk, Pier 39, Cape Disappointment, two lighthouses, several great drives.

Given the awful parks we toured in the Astoria-Seaside region, we were VERY happy to have ended up at Lewis and Clark. It is set in a scenic area, surrounded by a waterway, a golf course, farmland and trees. They have a wide grass perimeter that was great for running our dog and wide, open sites for the RV. An enjoyable stay. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV Park is awesome. Very well maintained and super clean. Not many trees, but spaces are decent size, separated by grassy areas and picnic tables. They even offer 100 AMP power. And their rules are actually enforced by the resident owner! There is a very large grassy area on the side reserved for bigger RVs, with part of it assigned to pets and the rest for games. We asked if our agility herding dog may be allowed to run fetching balls covering both areas, and they did allow it if nobody is out there playing games. However, when we let him run in a different area along the golf course - within 2 minutes someone showed up in a golf cart to remind us that dogs are not allowed there. Too many Parks have rules and never enforce them, but we prefer a watchful eye. The people in charge were very nice and helpful, recommending various sights we would have never known about. The Park is located alongside a body of water, next to a very well maintained 9-hole golf course in a very quiet area, but only minutes from downtown Astoria. The office provides excellent maps and helpful hints. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There's two separate RV areas. The "premium" sites are larger and designed for Class A rigs. Extra charge for more than 1 dog. No cable and only 5 OTA channels (ABC & 4 PBS channels). Utilities are located at the front of the site (designed for Class A rigs pulling straight in, not back-in trailers). Bring extra power cord and water hose. Large dog exercise area. There's a golf course on site, but it's not a traditional course. No greens, just a large circle to pitch at. 9 holes for $20 + 5 for the cart. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful setting, great sites, easy access, quiet. They do charge for dogs, a pet peeve of mine, but they don't really seem to have a real problem with pets, as other users stated. Although it is very strange that they don't mind you parking on the grass but walking your dog in it is a no-no. You must use the designated area, not the huge grassy area surrounding your rig. Overall very nice location and space. Would definitely come back. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed on the premium sites overlooking the golf course. Very clean, quiet park with plenty of space to set up, park, and navigate the roads. Be cautious using your GPS to get you to the entrance, especially if arriving from the east & not the south. Check with the office. You pull forward into the site, front windshield facing the golf course. Then, back out to leave. Easy! We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice quiet park that sits up against a golf course. I would have rated it higher had the park nightly rate been more in the $40-$45 range. We pull a 43' fifth wheel and entry into park was very easy. The staff checked us in quickly and offered lots of ideas for things to do in the area. The lanes are wide and gravel. The sites are very spacious. We are in the "C" section backing up to the golf course. Sites are gravel surrounded by lush grass. Plus a picnic table that doubles as a bench. Utilities are at the front of each site and work well-you may need longer cables.. The sites staggered and on the outer edge of a huge circular lawn. If your electric cable is not long enough the park with provide a cable extension. There is no cable TV and over air offers 4 channel. Satellite is easy to set up. Not being golfers, we find this is a lovely park but NOT a resort as it offers none of the amenities of a resort. WiFI is very good which we really appreciate. AT&T Cell service is good. Dog park is large but not fenced. We and many other campers would have really liked to have our dogs off leash to play. There is no pool or play area for kids. Do not know if woman in front office is owner or not?? I think it is important to understand that most people do not "break a rule" on purpose. An approach of a gentle reminder versus a sharp chastisement will cause more folks to want to return to this park. It is not a large park and the golf course was almost completely empty the week we were there so I suspect returning customers might be important to the park's bottom line. In spite of a rather legalistic rebuke, we would love to return to Astoria and to this park. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
