This park is an excellent example of what a typical park should offer for the same daily fee amount. Very clean, quiet, nice setting with full hookups. RV's are not cramped together so campers can actually use their site. Convenient to historical sites, restaurants and shopping. A thumbs up in our book. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Warrenton has Wal-Mart, shopping and shopping. Astoria is quaint, tourist type town since up to two cruise ships dock here each day. There was a cruise ship docked each day with one day being two ships. Nice waterfront trolley that goes along the river from the landing out to the edge of the shopping and restaurants.

This is one of the nicest rv parks we have stayed at in over 45 years of rving. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sites and grounds are landscaped. Spaces are wide and long. Everything is in excellent condition. A true gem. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here several times before and it continues to rank up near the top of our places to stay list. Check in is quick and easy. Just remember to bring cash or your checkbook - credit/debit cards not accepted. Navigation is easy even for the biggest rigs. A selection of 'nose-in' spots offer views of the golf course. And there are pull-thrus and back-ins as well. Spaces are bit close together (but not unduly so) and there is grass and a small tree separating the sites. Sites are gravel, but interior roads are pavement. Major shopping is 4-5 miles away with all the usual suspects represented including Fred Meyer (with diesel at the pumps), Costco and Walmart. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

As others have mentioned, all the fun/interesting things to see and do in and around Astoria. But do try Enola's Ship Out food truck, just a short block thru the park to the west for outstanding food. Call ahead for take-out or eat indoors. Well worth it!

Overall Rating:

This place is unique. With the exception of some pull-through sites, sites are lined up facing the golf course. The views are really nice. Sites are gravel separated by grass, bushes between help camouflage the utilities. The "table" provided is a half of a picnic table that can convert to a bench. Works fine for 2 people, but not for 4. The golf course is on the honor system and very inexpensive, but while it looks easy, it's a real challenge. Satellite reception can be tricky because of some trees, not to say the park has a lot of trees, our reception was fine. Park WiFi was iffy, antenna reception was good, Verizon cellular was good. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you plan to play the golf course, bring lots of golf balls you won't mind losing. Missing the fairway here generally means losing your golf ball. Also, bring cash or check to pay for your site, they don't accept credit or debit cards

Very friendly management. Beautiful park. Convenient location. Loved staying here. We were in one of the premium sites but the first night because we arrived early we stayed in the back area which was lovely. Sites are quite spacious. The grounds are meticulously maintained. WiFi was only weak spot. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

BEWARE: This is a lovely spot IF you're able to get one of the 7 premium sites in the upper area along the golf course. We had no knowledge of this when we booked this park and we were relegated to the lower parking lot very near the road where construction noise and the "beep, beep, beep" of heavy equipment went on all day long. Our view consisted of the trailers that were 2 feet from us on either side and the full timers behind us. The row in front of us looked out on the golf course but was set up for motor homes only. 5th wheels and other trailers are second class citizens at this park. Although that row is fortunate to have a view, they are still subjected to the constant noise. The upside; while we are often torn between relaxing at our campsite or site seeing, we couldn't get out of there fast enough each day. Astoria is a lovely town! I will say that once we saw our site and asked the owners for something different, they said they were booked and gave us the names of a couple of other campgrounds in the area and told us they'd refund our money if we moved out within the hour. That was nice of them. One was even worse and the other was full so we ended up staying. It just was a very disappointing experience. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We like this park, very close to loving it. The sites towards the back on the water (nose in to spot) are very easy parking for big rigs and spacing between rigs is adequate. Sites not on the water seem to be for long term folks of which all are newer rigs and clean sites. Wifi is average for RV parks. Staff is quite nice and helpful. We stay here often and the biggest piece of advice is to not get off US30 and try to cross the hill to take a shortcut... bad move as the hills are very steep like the worst ones in San Francisco (but if you do, please YouTube it because it will be viral!). There are shade trees, grass, and a half of a picnic table at each site. It's clean and very well maintained. I was able to get my 38' motorhome and towed Tahoe just barely in the site without having to unhook, but the sewer and water connection wouldn't reach. If I had wanted to unhook my Tahoe, the connections wouldn't have been an issue. The RV pad is gravel, but fairly level. The roads around the park are blacktop. Each site has a little lamp on top of the electrical connection post, but not all of the lights work. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, and even though my GPS led me here without an issue, I was warned to call the office for better directions as some people are routed onto roads that have steep inclines and declines, which are not suitable to dinghy towed vehicles. There's a beautiful, large grassy area for pets. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camped here in a motorhome. Site overlooked their golf course. Very quiet, well managed park. No cable but air antenna was very good with most of the national networks. Big rig friendly, we are 63' total. We had a long wide pull in on the top level with a large grass area on the side. We had a beautiful green view out the windshield as well as side windows. The owners are super friendly and provide great info on all area attractions. There is golf, foot golf, and frisbee golf all on site. The park has a GREAT location to see area attractions. We stayed 3 nights but could have, and should have, stayed longer. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground and friendly staff. More than enough room for our 40' Motorhome and toad. WiFi worked great! Excellent Proxcimity to Downtown and shopping. Forward pullin with golf course view wonderful. GPS tried to route us through town over steep hills from highway 30, called office and they recommend going through traffiic circle at highway 101 and business 101. Glad I took their advice. This is a wannabee glamping location, but, overall, between the close proximity to your neighbor, and lack of any amenities other than golf, it leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing to really knock it about, it has a great location, But the pads are gravel, the strips of grass narrow between sites, with sewer right on your grass strip. The staff gave us a pull through (we did not request) which they save for overnight and shorter term stays, and then commented why we'd want to change from that site to an unobstructed golf course view site (same price). INMHO it is not worth the almost $50 price tag, We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.
