Decent for an overnight stay. No WiFi at all here. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and we went to the hot tub and got in with an older couple only to realize that they were buck naked! We had a good laugh at least. The woman at the desk was extremely nice and we felt very safe here. Recommended for an overnighter if you don't have the need for a WiFi signal. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Park was filling up quickly when we got there with FMCA rally. Sites are mostly pull-thru with back-ins around the perimeter. Permanent residents along the back fence line. Some of the sites are narrow enough that opening the awning isn't possible. The sites are gravel with grass and trees between. Utilities closer to the front of the site. CTV brings about 30 channels. We have stayed here before and the CG is convenient and well maintained. Put nothing on the grass. When we pass through this area we will stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Downtown you will find most of the major stores, just a few minutes from the CG. Must see the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and if you have the time, drive out to Hell's Canyon Dam, 90 miles. Very nice city park and several good dining places. Smoke from the many forest fires was present but not an issue.

Easy to get in/out from the highway. Interior roads are some paved and some hard-packed gravel. We had a long pull-thru on hard-pack gravel with utilities about midway. Utilities worked well with water pressure up and down between 30 and 90 psi so use a pressure regulator. Free Wifi worked well. Strong Verizon signal. Distance between sites is decent and nice grass. Quite a few shade trees that could cause issues with satellite but we got lucky and hit a gap. Would stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for one night. Too many trees to get satellite service. Sites are very close together. They have too many sites in a very small area. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us a Good Sam discount even tho our card had just expired. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. Even though we didn't rate it very high, it's the best one in town. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

We had to make more than one trip to Ace Hardware for screws to fix our shade. They were very helpful.

Baker City is a cute town and the view as we were driving out of town was lovely with snow covered mountains.

We made our reservations at Mtn View two-years in advance of the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. During the few months before the eclipse, we made numerous modifications to our plans. Owner gladly accommodated our frequent changes. She is very personable, professional, and well respected in the Baker City community. Without hesitation, we would return here. We camped at Mtn. Park was very clean. Seemed to be about 2/3 long term residents. A mixture of mobile homes and campers. Pool and spa. Kids play ground. Cable TV. Several miles off the interstate so it was very quiet. Free wifi. Verizon signal was good. Paved interior roads. Turns a little tight for big rigs. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. This park in very good and clean. Spots are gravel with grass between them. Our table was brand new. It is a quiet park even though the space between sites is a little small. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are things to see in Baker City. Oregon Trail Interpretative center is 5 miles away. The Museum in town is wonderful. The old library is now an art center with local art. Sumpter Valley narrow gauge RR is 20 miles away and has train rides on the weekends.

Roads are a little confusing - not all of them go thru to the other side. Sites are pleasant - off the road, quiet, with a little strip of grass by each door. Utilities worked well. Wifi was adequate. Office staff was very well organized, and speedy. We would stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

We really liked this place. We spent three nights and did lots of exploring. Nice shady spots, not to tightly spaced, well maintained grassy areas between sites. Well off the highway and very quiet. Very nice laundry facility. We would definitely come back. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to Anthony Lakes also known as the Little Alps. The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is worth a visit, we spent hours there. Also went up to La Grande about 40 miles north where the Northwood Mfg plant is located, they build Arctic Fox, Fox Mountain, Nash and other RVs. They offer a one hour tour every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Very interesting and informative tour.

The customer service at guest registration was excellent. The park is clean. The laundry room was decorated in a cute western theme and was very clean. The bathrooms and hot tub room were clean. We appreciated that the Park recycled aluminum, bottles, and plastic. It was a quiet place to camp, with no freeway noise. Only an occasional train whistle could be heard, which we liked hearing. There is a small store for supplies and sundries. There are a few full-time residents on the perimeter, but they are quiet and their sites are clean and kept up. They have cable TV hookup, but we didn't use it because we had many Air TV channels with our antenna. We were only going to stay 2 days, but decided to stay 4 days total. Water pressure is 100 psi, so use a water pressure reducer at the faucet connection. We would definitely return to camp at Mt. View RV Park in Baker City, OR. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Safeway and Albertsons for groceries. Maverick diesel #2 $2.73/gallon. Great Mexican food at El Erridero. Visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Lunch at the Geiser Grand Hotel was delicious. The hotel is historic and beautiful. There are over 100 buildings. Nice Library and the Powder River flows by. Walking path along the Powder River in town. Baker City is a very friendly and nice town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice park. The park was very clean but we noticed that they did not have a dog run for the park. We had to walk the dogs through the park on a leash and never could let them off to run. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

They were doing some spring cleaning so we heard a lot of chainsaw activitie which just showed they take care of things!! The overall appearance is nice and decorative with "old time town" things... really cute! Nice people! Close to downtown with shopping, museums and resturants. Cell service good and wifi was above average. Plenty of grass areas for dogs. Nice fenced in play area for children. As you pull in, it looks like a mobile home park.... once you get all the way to the back you see the nice R.V. area. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. The access to the park is very convenient. The spaces are large and fairly well spaced with level gravel pads. All the utilities work well except for the WiFi which did not work at all for us. Fortunately our phone hotspot has great service. The over the air TV worked fairly well once we got the antenna adjusted correctly. There are quite a few permanent residents that have some clutter. Long level pull-thru; Easy in, easy out. Behind mobile park but that did not detract from the RV park. Good for walking our dogs. Sites were a bit closer than we prefer. Sprinklers were turned on when we arrived and we got a little wet while we were setting up, but not a huge deal. Overall, a fine, convenient overnight stop. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn.
