The campground is behind a trailer park. It was easy in and out. The park had good interior roads and it was easy to negotiate. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Nice enough park but we didn't think that we should have to pay full price since the water was turned off. WiFi was very weak. A few miles from the highway so didn't have that noise. There was, however, a train blowing its whistle at 0230 and 0330! We would probably try someplace else if in the area again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. Nice park, 60' long pull through's. Easy off 84, and close to shopping and restaurants. Best campground in Baker City. Sites are spacious with full hook ups. Ideal for one night. Would stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Nice park with lots of mature shade trees. Interior roads are asphalt and plenty wide. Sites have gravel or asphalt parking with small grass area between. Utilities are conveniently located. Make sure you have a pressure reducer for your water. Cable TV is a plus. Laundry room is clean and units worked well. Convenient to I-84 and great for a one night stay. We camped at Mtn. Check in was fast, staff very friendly. We had a pull through site and the park has lots of trees. Great little general store. Clean laundry room. The store and other buildings have a old west type appearance. Services are several miles away. Park is within a couple miles of Interstate 84. Nice grassy areas between sites however they ask not to use mats on the grass. Also they water them and can get your trailer and or vehicle wet. Overall a nice park and will stay again when in the area. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Be sure to have a water pressure regulator as the water pressure was 60 lbs plus. Be sure and visit the Oregon Trial Interpretive Center if you are at all interested in how the early pioneers migrated to Oregon. Downtown Baker City is worth a drive and walk through.

Very nice park. The site was wide with nice grass. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were a good amount of trees that gave some good shade. The laundry was clean and did a good job on our cloths. They recommended a couple of nice spots to eat and thing to see at check-in. The WIFI was good and we were able to connect as needed. Not a lot of services really close, had to go into town for most things. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 1 night passing thru on I-84. The park is a short drive from the interstate (Exit 302 to miss going through most of town) along two lane roads. The interior roads are primarily gravel. They are narrow with parked vehicle encroachment & tight turns making maneuvering larger RV's a little challenging. The traffic pattern requires looping back through the park to exit. There is a mixture of back-ins, P/T's and tent sites. A few of P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad. The RV sites are narrow & there isn't much distance between the sites but there was sufficient room to open slides. The parking pads are gravel. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level and flat. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. Water pressure was described as being 100 lbs. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. The sewer connection was slightly above ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow depending on discharge point. Sites have an outside table but no fire pits. There were quite a few trees scattered throughout the park and around the perimeter so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site. The park information didn't mention anything about broadcast channels but the cable lineup consisted of 30 channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was acceptable. It was password protected. Didn't try our Verizon WiFi hotspot or the NET10 phone so don't know about reception. There was not a fenced pet area or designated walking areas. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads. There were no waste bag dispensers or collections stations for waste anywhere in the park. There was only 1 dumpster towards the middle of the park across from the office. We would probably stay here again if traveling through the area. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pull thru sites 123, 125 & 126 appeared to have clear access for satellite reception. Pull thru sites 116 & 117 possibly have clear access for satellite reception. Paizano's Pizza delivered to the park. Make reservations due to the limited number of pull thru sites with satellite access.

Older, very large, mobile home and RV park set about a mile west of I-84 and just a 5-minute drive from downtown Baker City. All sites offer water, sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electric, shade trees, strip of well-watered lawn between sites, picnic table, free WiFi, and free basic cable. CG has restrooms, showers and a coin laundry facility. A meeting room and BBQ area is available for guests. Pets welcome. Open all year. Pros: Reasonably-priced, full-service RV CG with free WiFi and cable TV. Located on the north edge of Baker City in an older mixed-use neighborhood, away from freeway noise and close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Well-kept park with excellent staff. Cons: Older park with very tightly-spaced RV sites. No more that 8-10ft between sites. Picnic table on strip of grassy lawn between sites, but no neighbor-to-neighbor privacy. Some large rigs will struggle to deploy slides. Recommendation: Not a destination CG. OK for an overnight stay. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.
