Three fantastic state parks in a row. Oregon knows what it's doing. The campground roads were fairly easy to navigate but a little tight as with most state parks. The campsight had strong 50/30 amps. Some sites have sewer. There's no OTA but cell is strong. Verizon 10+ d/l and ATT 10+ d/l unboosted. T mobile was on ATT roaming so no joy on the data for T mobile. Staff was friendly and the rangers drove around occasionally. The beaches here are gorgeous. Check out face rock..it's worth the 15 minute drive. As with the other places in Oregon, this is a very dog friendly area. Dogs are allowed to run on the beach off leash and on all of the nearby trails. The walk to the beach was about 1.5 miles in deep sand but there's plenty of parking if you don't want to walk. There's also a nice offroad paved bike path from the campground to the beach. Rays grocery was small and a bit pricey but got the job done. There are plenty of restaurants in town and trinket shops. Laundry (Lidia Anns) was clean but there were homeless people hanging out smoking in the back doorway filling it with smoke. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice, well maintained campground. There are three loops, and each loop had two camp hosts, all were extremely friendly. We stayed in C Loop, which was more space with trees, so a bit more open and windy, but still very nice. Next time we will try to get A or B loops which are more sheltered and private. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

After staying at several over-crowded RV parks in CA this was a refreshing change of pace. We love state parks and the privacy we get at the sites compared to RV parks. We were in site B37 at Bullards Beach and it was very woodsy and private. Of course woodsy means mosquitoes, but I still appreciated the seclusion. We were close to the path to the beach which is a 3/4 mile hike. This park is in a beautiful location and even has a lighthouse! We also loved visiting the town of Bandon. The roads around the campground are tight and can be tricky with a big rig, but we were able to do it with a 41 ft 5th wheel. Verizon and AT&T both worked well. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

May26, 27 Bullards Beach State Park, Bandon, Oregon site A20 $33 no discounts Full hookups. This State Park is located in Bandon, Oregon the Cranberry Capitol of Oregon. There are three loops in the park A, B and C. I felt the A loop sites had more privacy. There is a mixture of full hookups and w & e sites spread around the loops. The bathhouses were clean with showers. The campground is three miles to the old lighthouse and beach. It is a nice park where one can fish, put in a boat on the river, horseback ride with your own horse if staying at the horse camp, bike, picnic, go to the beach and visit the historic lighthouse. We were there Memorial Weekend for two nights so it was full on the first night. Pets are welcomed on the beach. The old lighthouse stands where the river and ocean meet and you can walk out on the jetty. This was a great spot to camp and heading into Bandon two miles away with its historic district and scenic drive along the Beach Loop just adds to the experience. We would return to this park! We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

After a paid 3 day reservation and staying at this nice state park many times over 10 years, with the same nice truck/camper trailer, we checked in and they looked at our vehicles. The ranger asked us to leave the park the next day, as they said we had 2 rv's on our site. Our small camper is only used for camp storage - wood, chairs, etc. My husband was very sick with flu, so I had to beg head ranger to stay another day, which eventually he begrudgingly allowed. The reason: they were worried we would plug in our camper using more power, which we have never done nor would we. We could NEVER use near the power the many Big Rigs there use. We are respectful senior citizens, but the head ranger was quite demanding and rude. Can you Say: more bureaucracy and more regulations. So sad for a lovely park. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Oregon does a great job with their State Parks! No WIFI or Cable TV, but who cares! Nice site in the B loop with screening from neighbors, but not their noise. It is a family friendly campground so there are kids on bikes and skate boards and lots of dogs. Very quiet at night and off the highway so no road noise. Hookups worked great; programs were being held at the amphitheater, and close to the Coquille River Lighthouse / beaches. Be careful in reserving just the right spot; angle of the driveway, and narrow 1-way roads . . . can be tougher to maneuver larger rigs, and there were some big ones in there! We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Truck Camper.

Full hookups in Loops A & B are spacious and well laid out. Most provide privacy due to trees & shrubbery. Loop C sites, while spacious, have less greens for privacy, and less choice of sun and shade. Most sites seem level. A negative is only two places to dispose of waste and recycling. Hence sites furthest from the main camp road require a bit of walking carrying same. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Campground has 3 loops and none any better than the other. Close, cramped sites with minimal vegetation between sites. The volunteers keep the park clean and well maintained. Too bad they can't control the DOGS barking and the rowdy, loud, inconsiderate campers. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Tent.

The park, including the drive in from Hwy 101, is very attractive. Well back from Hwy 101, no noise.

Our site was partially shaded, good screening on one side, partial on the other. Decent spacing at our site, closer at some others. The "C" Loop in particular has a very crowded feeling, with high density of equipment on the sites and no shrubbery between the sites resulting in zero privacy. Summer is the season for lots of activity and noise, so not the place for peace and quiet. As with the other state parks, many young children on bikes and wheeled vehicles riding without concern about the possibility of cars on the street. Don't know how we didn't see any accidents.

Site across from us had 5 vehicles, many parked entirely on the grass, which supposedly was off-limits ("all vehicles must be on pavement"): 2 cars, boat on trailer, pickup, truck camper. Many sites had at least 3 vehicles, extra tents etc. No effort was made to enforce this. The density of equipment on most of the sites makes it less attractive when in the campsite area. Garbage and recycling was in two locations serving the entire park, so it can be a good walk to them, depending on where you are.

We were in FHU "B loop", and many sites are used by tent campers. A series of tent campers were in the FHU site next to us the time we were here. They were large groups and spread out over the whole site, including the border next to us, and rather noisy (who wants to spend much time in a small tent). Big dogs across the street left tied outside all day, barking loudly. Come in, park, tie the dogs out to bark and leave for the day seems to be ok.

Utilities worked well, good Verizon data and fair AT&T phone and data. Could be a very nice park, but you got the feeling things were packed in tightly as you went down the roads.

Disappointing given previous reviews, will not return. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

I could have rated this lower because of not having Wi-Fi or cable but the part was so nice I didn't miss those features. I can't believe the beautiful state parts Oregon has to offer. So far I have traveled from Santa Rosa California to Coos bay . Every park I stayed at was great!
I would stay here again in a heart beat. There were mosquitoes in the early morning. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Just stayed here May 13-15, 2016. As previously mentioned, mosquitos are really bad this year. We found ticks on this trip, I've lived in Oregon for 35 years and never seen a tick. We had 5 in our travel trailer (and one of those was attached to my back). I think it was from our dog walk in the brushy areas to the south of the road on the way to the beach. So make sure your first aid kit (you have one, right?) contains a tick removal tool or tweezers.

Also we didn't have electricity at our site when we set up. Turned out it was the first time that those sites had been used this season and the entire row of camp sites didn't have electricity. Found an employee. Got it fixed right away. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Historic Bandon and marina a great walking area, lots of local shops and eateries, including a great codfee shop and several bakeries. We usually have fresh fish and chips from the little blue shack and then walk across the street to Cranberry Sweets for desert. There's also the Face Rock Creamery for fresh cheese and local Oregon ice cream.

It's a beautiful park, we may have hit it at the wrong time of year. The mosquitos were horrific. The trail to the beach .75 miles was 10% ankle deep mud and 5% water and mud. The rest nice enough with sand and walkways over the mozzie breeding ponds. Great beach, long and empty, probably because of the required effort to get to it. Good for agates.

Dumpsters must have been due soon for cleaning because they were nasty. Nice recycling, great and helpful camp hosts. We had good satellite in this site, but would be dicey in most others. Did I mention the mosquitos? We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

This was our first stay at an Oregon State Park and what everyone says is true. I wish parks in other states had campgrounds like this! Nice and clean. Asphalt roads, paths and level sites. We have a 38' class A and it was no problem at all here. No wifi but Verizon hot spot was strong. No cable but our rooftop satellite worked fine. Sites are spacious and wooded. Bike/walking path to the beach and another one to town. Lots of mosquitos at the lighthouse when we went to watch the sunset so take your bug spray. Loved it here and would return. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.
