This campground is easy to find right off the highway. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior road are paved, but narrow. Really big trees are everywhere, but we managed to get around OK. Sites were paved, long and fairly level. Full hook-ups were well located and worked as expected. Pet areas are available. CATV worked well. Verison had 3 bars. WIFI was very good and worked well. There appears to be two sections to this park: one section for long-term residents and one for transients. The transient section is really pretty with lots of trees, grass and shade. This is a nice place. We've stayed here a few time before and we'd stay here again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is laid out well but spaces are quite close to each other. Pull throughs are a bit short. Satellite reception in limited number of spaces. The park is very well maintained. Good refuse collection and recycling. There are good utilities and access to them. The park is strategically located along a major street in town. Local restaurants, grocery stores and shopping nearby. The price was high for what you get but the park is jammed and they seem to have no trouble keeping it that way. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely yet older RV park. There is plenty of room in the RV spots, but your neighbors will be close by. The lawns are beautifully manicured, almost like a putting green. They did not voice any concerns about our three dogs, (well behaved pit bulls). The Wifi works well and the rest of the infrastructure is well maintained. It is very quiet around here, despite the fact that you are in the middle of Bend Oregon, home of 76,000 + folks. The roads are fairly easy to get around in, even with a 40 foot rig. This is not your Highest end resort, but it is truly wonderful, welcoming and safe. We will definitely come here again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

This park, like so many in Oregon, is the new version of the old "mobile home parks", mostly full of permanent residents or full time RVers. Consequently the temporary visitors don't get the best spots. I do appreciate that I was seeking a site late in the day. I was told the site I would get was not their best in part because it didn't have a lot of grass. There wasn't a single blade of grass. The asphalt pad was not at all level and in fact was on an incline and very uneven. The water pressure at my site wasn't sufficient to take a decent shower in my RV. I wonder if that wasn't in part due to the watering of lawns all over the park all day long. There is only one area set aside for dogs and if it wasn't being watered it was soggy due to so much water. Not much good about this RV park's space 22. I also take issue with the very limited hours of the office and the lack of availability of a number for maintenance issues. I encountered issues with the faucet for fresh water and had I not bumped into the manager at 8:00 I would have had to wait until 10:00 am and delay my departure. Another indication this park caters to full time residents. Would not stay here again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

We are full-timers, traveling with a 43' 5th wheel. We stayed for 1 week. The most spacious sites are 318, 319, 320, 322, 325 and 326. Our site was one of these, and met our needs with no problems. Most of the other sites are very cramped, with most sites right on top of each other, with the neighboring site sewage and pedestal connections right next to an RV's doorstep. The bulk of the sites in the RV park are permanent trailers and sites that were pretty ratty. As with most RV parks, the Wi-Fi was only occasionally available, and for the most part was useless. We used our hot spot instead. Cable TV was acceptable. There was some traffic noise during the day, but died down after dark. Navigating our big rig on the lane ways was a bit of a challenge - some very sharp turns, but with spotters we managed. Overall, we found the park to be acceptable, but a bit pricey considering the amenities. It would have been very different (bad) had we been in one of the other sites. This park has been around for many years, and the facilities reflect this. We would counsel anyone with a big rig to request one of the sites 318, 319, 320, 322, 325 and 326. Some of the other sites would probably be OK if you had a smaller rig. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

$50 per nite rate is the one week rate. Pricey. Entry into park is easy off a busy street . Be sure to use directions to the park from their website. All of Bend has busy traffic. Lanes are macadam and easy to follow. Park has several very long sites -adequate for our 43' rig. Sites are paved with nice grass between and many large trees. Our site #320 is the best site for a big rig; has no one behind nor on one side. Utilities operate well. Cable TV is good, satellite works well but WIFI is almost non-existent-even at 6 AM. AT&T works well and also Verizon broadband. Dog park is a strip of grass near the park entrance. Not fenced. No pool. Bugs not a problem - but weather during our stay has been very chilly. Would love to return to Bend and to this RV park, even at this price. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Best grocery store plus homegoods at Fred Meyer -very close to RV Park. Good bagle shop right down the street. Pizza place around the corner; expensive and not the best. Redmond is close by and the home of Microsoft. Really nice modern town.

Shady park with reasonably easy entry and exit, and located close to downtown Bend. Staff very polite and accommodating. WiFi was perfect! As close to having your personal WiFi at home! Cable TV was not acceptable, but we hardly watched TV. Very clean park. Very convenient park. A little high priced for the amenities, but offset by the location! Definitely would return to this park. Interesting park set-up, narrow roads but no problem to maneuver. Lady at check-in was very friendly. Biggest drawback to this park is not the park's fault, road work by the City of Bend in every direction. Water connection is covered underground. Great customer service. We had a mechanical problem with our RV causing us to stay only 1 of the 3 nights, we'd paid for upon arrival. Since there is a NO refund policy we requested a credit for the 2 unused nights, which was granted. We'd planned to swing back through Bend on our way home from our 6 week trip touring the 3 National Parks in Montana and Wyoming. About 5 weeks later we called for another 3 nights reservation using our promised 2 night credit. Long story short, we were given our requested 3 night reservation that included our credit and a reduced fee for the third night. No hassles no problems. That's customer service. With our experience at Sccandia, we'll mark this RV park as a favorite in our list of places to stay. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Ask to stay in the RV area. The long term areas are not all that bad. We stayed there for our first reservation because the RV sites were full. But the RV parking area is more of a vacation feel to it. Easy access to shopping at Albertson'a, Walmart, ACE Harspdware and Fred Meyers store and Gas station. Easy access off or back onto Hwy 97. Minutes from down town Bend or the Old Mill District shopping areas.

A terrible park, expensive, crowded, dirty, terrible office person. Jammed us in between 2 year round trailers, not enough to put slide out, 10" on the other side!!

No room for our truck and never told of other parking. Worthless Wi-Fi, on busy traffic clogged street. You don't have many choices in this popular city. If there were, you would never stay here!!! We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

Located off of a busy road with plenty of roads and shops, with convenient access to all of the places we visited in Bend. Our site (301) was a bit too close to the road, and within a 20 second walk to a Wendy's. Spaces are assigned at random, so the luck of draw gave us this space. I would have chosen one of the other spaces that were open a the time we checked in. Other than that, it's an established RV park with plenty of green grass and tall trees that provided good shade. Wi-fi service was excellent, as our site was next to a tree mounted with routers. They also have a nice fireplace / pit, but we didn't use it. Full cable TV was included (we didn't us it), and access to a few unisex bathrooms/showers were included. I'd come back. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Many awesome breweries in Bend, and all relatively close (by driving). Highly recommend the Lava River Cave at the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. It's a 20 minute drive, and a great activity for a hot summer afternoon. On a 90 degree afternoon it was 42 degrees in the cave. Take a jacket and a flashlight!!

We stayed 10 nights, and the total fee was $556.11. The receipt did not break down the 10% Good Sam discount, nor the associated taxes. This was a decent park. Our site was between long term residents, but they were very nice. Seems most rv parks now have a larger group of permies than over nighters.

Site was shaded, which helped as it is summer in the high desert! We were not able to get rooftop satellite from our motor home, but the park had cable. Had not been to Bend for years, and it was very nice to visit again. Due to our visit we needed to be close within the city, so this worked out well.

We heard that prices are going to go up in the near future, so be aware. Laundry was ok. They had literally relocated the laundry room the day before we used it, so will not comment on condition as the change was so new.

Really nice picnic tables at sites: the recycled type but very good quality. Spacing between sites was ok. Not the best, but not the worst we have been in either. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

We looked at the park's web site and weren't sure that we wanted to stay. All I can say is, don't believe the pictures. A nice park, large sites, well landscaped. All sites are paved, there's grass at every site. Only negative, the roads into the park are a little tight. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is small with mostly smaller spaces and fairly narrow roads. We are a big rig so we felt the impacts of our size. Our back-in site would have been challenging had the sites across from us been occupied. This challenge would vary by site. The sites across from us were pull throughs but seemingly situated in the middle of the road. There is nice landscaping and some tall trees throughout. The park is an rv park in one section and a mix of very long term rv's and older single wides in another. Verizon and utilities worked well. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.
