Well, let's just say if you have a class A this might not be the place 4 you. Low limbs prohibited us from the first two spots. Final settled in #36. Staff has NO IDEA what will fit where in the park. If you are in a class C, or small TT, you're OK. Use caution if you have a larger 5er. I would not come back here. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed at Boardman for 4 nights and loved this park. We stayed in site 54 which was away from the water but we had a peak of the water. Loved the shade trees in the 80+ weather. Pretty green grass everywhere. The sites were not close together unless you were near the water but there still was more room between sites than other RV parks. There are train tracks nearby but the trains didn't blow their horns and the sounds of the trains going by were barely noticeable. The park is next door to the marina which has a boat launch, playground, picnic areas and swimming area. There is a walking trail around the RV park which goes for about 3 miles. My only complaint is that there isn't an easy way to get on the trail unless you walk out of the RV park or cut through the large open areas between sites. There isn't a lot to do in the area except the Sage Center was really nice to visit especially for kids. There is a splash park in Boardman but we didn't have any luck in figuring out when it actually was running. Great place to get away from it all and we will be back. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Go to the Sage Center and the marina next door. Pendleton is about 1 hour away and it is a neat little town. We ate at the Prodigal Son in Pendleton and the food was great.

This is a beautiful park right on the Columbia River. We were in site 48 which is one of the circular pull throughs along the road so didn't have great views of the marina or river. There was a high wooden fence between us and the road. Other sites were very spacious. Lots of trains going past close by. Our friends had site 7 and that had great views. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Sage Center in Boardman is a great place to learn about agriculture and industry in the area. The Pendleton Underground Tour is awesome. We drove an hour west on the Washington side of the river to see some of the gorge and Sam Hill's Stonehenge near Maryhill. While there, we noticed Waving Trees Winery just down the hill. What a find! All their reds were delicious, and we had so much fun doing the tasting. Also went to the Discovery Center at the Dalles.

This "could" be a hidden treasure located along the Columbia River with easy access on and off I-84. We only stayed one night and did not want to unhook. Pull through along the south side seemed to have more slope, are a little short for our 38' and utilities, especially sewer, are not conveniently located. They are shaped in an arc and share the entrance/exit so each site patron needs to be considerate about where they park. In the first spot (48) we would be blocking a car if we parked where we could access the sewer. The 2nd spot (50), in order to get level we had to use 3 lengths of sewer hose, which of course, could not be supported the entire way. The sewer inlet was at an angle so one us of had to hold it in while dumping to prevent it from popping out. Had a small tree branch that interfered with the satellite. The pull through's on the north (river) side looked to be flatter. Next time we will get a back-in which all seemed to have tons of room. Wifi was poor. Verizon adequate. Train comes by often, is loud, but no horn. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Opt for one of the pull throughs on the north (river) side if available or get a back-in and unhook. To us unhooking would have been easier and better all around than using the south side pull through's.

This is a comfortable, scenic park on the Columbia River. It's convenient to I-84. There are large expanses of green grass and plenty of trees. Sites are visually close, but they are physically well spaced and arranged. There are wooden privacy fences in strategic places. There is a trail where you can walk along the river. The park area on the other side of the marina has scenic viewpoints. Backed into site #2 you'll have a view of grass, trees, and the river on the patio side. Trains go by frequently but only occasionally use their horns. We didn't mind the trains at all. We didn't use the showers. There are two shower stalls with a shared dressing area. If this park even added a small food/bar kiosk with outdoor seating/views of the river, they could add resort to their name. In addition to the nightly rate, they charged us a one time $5 reservation fee for calling them to make a reservation. We'll use this park again. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

This is a city owned park adjacent to the Columbia River. The location is absolutely spectacular with beautiful sunsets over the river. This is our third visit and our second and third visit within 2 weeks. We stop at Boardman on our way to and from Spokane, Wa to see our children. The sites are asphalt and fairly level. We had a pull through and had to raise the front up a bit, no big deal. Space between the sites is huge. Basically, you are camping in the middle of city park surrounded by trees and grass. The bathrooms and showers are not the greatest, but adequate and there is laundry. I highly recommend this park because of the magnificent beauty. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

We've been all over the United States in the past few years (2 of which we were full-timing), and returning here once again (after two previous stays years ago) was just as we remembered it. It is truly an RV park, with the emphasis on "park" - in most RV parks, you could fit 2 or three more rigs in the space between rigs at Boardman. My only wish is that they'd furnish cable TV for those of us without a satellite dish. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained large grassy areas between all RV Sites, our asphalt site was pretty level, so no need for levelers. Some other sites had a few tree root bumps, but sure you could still find level asphalt. Very nice walking path following the Columbia River. About a ¾ mile from I-84 and very easy to find. RV sites are very large and spaced out as well. Has spotty WiFi, but when working is good. No Cable, but very good 16 channel Antenna receptions! Train tracks nearby but did not bother us. In the early evening, a small Ice Cream vehicle (with bells) travels the RV roads! At the very minimum, a great overnighter or more! We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a city park with easy access in and nice wide paved roads inside the park. The sites are very wide and most of them like ours are back-ins. We were in site 38, with full hook-ups and a picnic table. No issues with the hookups. The site had shade trees and was very private. There is a paved walking/biking path that runs through the park. You have access to the river and a number of beaches. Perfect for dog walks. Our only complaint is that the water sprinklers run from 8:00 am -10:00 am right on the site and some of the other sites from 10:00am -noon. This happens two day a week, and makes it impossible to use your site during this time. Being early risers we saw the sprinklers in the wide open areas running at 6:30am - seems this could be switched around. It is very quiet except for the occasional train - but almost no horn noise. We stayed August 22 - 25, 2017 and paid $25.72 a night. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

This is our third or fourth time for a one night stop here. Gorgeous green spaces. Waking path all by the Columbia River. Well kept, clean and quiet. One of our regular stops any time we pass through the area. This was the one time here our site was a bit tight maneuvering for our slideouts. We have a 42' 5th wheel and 5 slides. The trees are very large and mature here. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a public park that gets good ratings because it's amazing, not because it is "okay for the value". I cannot say enough about this park. The sites are HUGE. Lots of green, lush grass. Some with large trees, some with small. This has been a rare find in postage-stamp sized sites. This is definitely big-rig friendly. The only downsides unhooking and location. There wasn't a natural place to unhook without holding up everyone behind you. The closest place to see a Walmart or shopping is about 30 minutes out. However, this place makes up for it. Very convenient to 84 and from the beauty of the river, to the landscaping, to the very friendly camp hosts, to the huge patio, to the fire pit, to the internet access, this place was great. If we pass through, we won't hesitate to stay again. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night at site #15, which was close to the Columbia River. The park is beautiful with trees and grass. Do not leave your chairs or mats outside at night. The sprinklers come on and wet everything, even your rv. They came on at 3 a.m. hitting the back and side of our 5th wheel, and ran for about an hour, keeping us awake...very annoying. There is a 3-mile bike path that we enjoyed riding our bikes beside the river. Site 15 was gravel surrounded by grass and trees. It took a little jockeying to back in our 36 foot 5th wheel due to a tree and shrubs. You hear an occasional train whistle, and other than the sprinklers waking you up, we rested well. The park maintenance staff really needs to check the spray of their sprinklers, and how long they run. It appears a lot of rv travelers use this rv park as a resting stop to another destination. If we could, we would have stayed a couple more days to enjoy this rv park, but we were on schedule to another rv location. We would stay here again, if in the area. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Fifth Wheel.
