This is the first time we have stayed here. We had a level, gravel, FHU, pull-through site at the southeast end of the park. I mention that specific area because, if you are in that area, you have to walk around the southern edge of the park and then walk 200 yards north to get to the office, bathrooms, and laundry. Because of this goofy layout, you cannot walk straight (about 100 yards) to these facilities. I found the bathroom to be dirty. The tiny laundry room was cramped (there was barely enough floor space for more than one person to be in the room) even though there were just 2 of each machine. Besides being FHU, our site had 60+ channel cable TV and a decent 802.11 network connection. We also had, as requested, one of the few satellite friendly sites. Unlike a previous reviewer, I did NOT appreciate all the watering of the park lawns during a drought - this is completely irresponsible and selfish behavior. I was not impressed with the only staffer I encountered. She went "nuts" when a older customer drove through what looked like a site. He showed her the map she had given him and he was following her pen and ink arrows. She would have none of it and continued to rant. Typical "I am always right " type. This is certainly not very "Christian" behavior. It goes completely the opposite of all the religious paraphernalia in her office. The park has no recreational facilities or recycling that I could see. The park has very nice sites, some poor facilities (bath and laundry), and at least one staffer who needs some sense of dealing with people and being environmentally responsible. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Boy there is lots of room to park your rig. Gravel fairly level sites. Grass between sites. Good water pressure. I did find the 50 amp only 110 v. The showers and bathrooms are a bit walk to get to but lots of hot water. Very nice people working here. WiFi good Have cable but did not use. Some sites are good for satellite but tell them so you can get one. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stopped overnight on our way from Bend to parts south. The lower historical ratings are nearly 10 years old and do not describe the current management, guests nor layout. Well kept, deep gravel, large trimmed trees, good grassy spaces between sites, dog friendly. Owner continues to water during this drought - at least so far - so no dust nor bare ground. As others have said, the park fills up with overnighters even in the offseason, so call ahead and reserve. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Burns, although a small town, is the 'metro' area for the region, so you have you're usual suspects of fast food, some shopping for essentials, and fuel stops that can accommodate rigs given a little patience and caution. For very large rigs there is a truck stop on the west side of town.

This is a very nice park for an overnight stay. We were pleasantly surprised.

It was right on main road so easy to find. The sites were gravel but there was grass between. Not much in the town but ok as a via point. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night, hut had a pleasurable expirience there. Close to the small town of Burns Oregon. Nice shade trees and friendly, helpful staff. Our Verizon phones do not work in that are, but was not the fault of the RV park. Would most definitely stay there again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great reception, making reservation and checking in. Pull-through for big rig very long and wide. Easy in/easy out. This is a small park that is well maintained and quiet. Utilities well located and safe. Large field at back for dogs but watch out for swarms of mosquitoes at dusk. Perfect overnight stop to rest. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Needed a way point stop and found this RV park listed for Burns. Decided to give it a go.

Not too far off our route. Small but extremely well maintained park. There are only about 50 spots of varying sizes. Some pull throughs but more back ins. All sites have 30/50 amp, water and sewer, a picnic table, free wifi, and plenty of space between sites.

Front desk person was extremely friendly.

There is a nice grass area for the dogs, a laundry and a bath/shower house. The showers are extremely small but very well kept.

The grounds are immaculate, and they do have plenty of shaded spots.

Good Verizon service here and they do have a few spots that are good for satellite, including roof mounted.

We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

The nightly rate is based upon a weekly rate. This park is about 1 mile east of Burns, Oregon, right on the highway, but highway noise was not a problem in the evening. The owner was very nice and helpful. The turn into the park is a bit sharp and new pavement has raised the road bed a bit. The Interior roads are gravel. Pull through sites are reserved for overnighters. There were some sites with very old and tall trees which proved lots of daytime shade in this high desert environment. Good tasting water. No problems with the electric. Laundry room was very nice and very clean. lots of channels on the cable. The park sits adjacent to a small river and mosquitos were a bother in the evening and chased us inside every night. We stayed 1 week and definitely would stay again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be careful with your speed. As soon as you exit the park and turn towards town, the speed limit drops. For Rockhounds, there are lots of collecting sites within an hours drive and there is Obsidian everywhere in the area.

We recently stayed here on a busy weekend. Even though they were completely booked they found an overflow site for us that fully met our needs. They were very helpful and we really liked this park. While it's close to the US highway at night the traffic is not noticeable/non-existent. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here numerous times, and we like it. There are nice long spots for motorhomes and tows, easy in and out, hookups are good. It is a simple campground, not a lot of frills but very clean and nice if you are travelling through this area. There is a large area to walk your dog. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shore Services electric is good in the newer sections. There are some that are fused and I had a problem early in the morning and was with out power until the office opened, Sewer good, Water @ 70psi. I didn't use the Wi-Fi but used Verizon air card which worked very well. AT&T Cell phone has good signal strength. Cable is fuzzy on some channels and could be better. Sites are good with plenty of room between them. If you have a Very large RV you will find a number of pull thru sites that will accommodate you. I didn't use restrooms, showers or laundry. There are Long term tenants but they are in a separate section and kept quite nice. Payment with credit card is accepted. The owner is very nice and offered me an additional night free or my money back when the power went out. I stayed the weekend and was very pleased with the different site that I was given. Also, if you like a great chicken fried steak ask the office about Eddy's Truck stop Café on Hwy 20. I would definitely stay here when in the area again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice RV park. We only stayed one night on our way towards the coast. I like all the grass and trees and most of all the gravel in between the sites and main access roads. Keeps the dust down. Sites were large and level. Owner was friendly and I love the touch of potted flowers at each site. Burns itself is small and nothing to do. I rode my bike early in the AM just outside the RV park in the local neighborhood just to get some exercise. We would stay here again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a gem we found in this RV park! The owner was most accommodating as we had coach trouble and were disabled for 3 days. The owner was able to fit us in even though she was very full on our first evening. The owner also provided info for mobile mechanics and possible shops to help with the repair.. Clean, quiet and comfortable, the best place to stay in Burns! We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.
